I subscribed to get access to the calendar and virtual stats - even tho you can access the calendar for free I still find this app amazing! With everything available in this app I truly wonder how it can be so cheap! Updates are frequent and shows Cassey is 100% listening to feedback. I hope to see the following for subscribers in future updates: add food, water intake, and weight tracking, recipe options, a play all function for daily workouts. Will update review as app is updated.

I’m glad to see this app in fruition and that it makes following the calendar workouts that much easier but the whole app needs a serious update. It is extremely buggy and freezes up constantly when checking off work outs or transitioning between parts of the app. I currently cannot even open the calendar because the entire app crashes when I try to. I know it’s in the beginning stages but it certainly could use some changes ASAP. On top of this, the app is super restrictive and doesn’t allow you to look at past days of work outs (or the next day!) which to me, was so surprising to see. The downloadable calendar from the site was nice to have because it made it so that I could plan out my work outs for the week and if I missed a day, I could go back and do the work outs from the day before. This part of the app is super frustrating because if the app doesn’t work for me on the day of the work out (especially since it’s been crashing on me this whole time) and I can’t follow along with any of the challenges, I feel like I’m missing out entirely and I don’t get the chance to go back and make up for it. I currently signed up to pay for the monthly work outs and I’m slightly disappointed with how the app is running so far. I hope the changes are made soon so I can enjoy it for what it’s worth! I know it has a lot of potential and would love to see it work out well for everyone.

Okay, it's actually really nice to be able to watch her workouts without ads, but I was disappointed to see that her calendar wasnt free in the app even though it is on her webcite for free. That, and her playlists are also premium; I might as well use YouTube Red 🤷‍♀️ once you pay for premium, it is pretty nice though 😁 I dont wanna pay that so I just manually search it up and print off the calendar 😂 at least theres no ads...

  • Subscription Value Oct 7, 2020

First I want to say I do like the app, very visually appealing & lots of workout videos. I signed up for the premium subscription, & I’m sorry, but it doesn’t seem really worth it to me. You’re basically paying for a few programs & challenges. I guess if you really like those, maybe it’s worth it for you. But I personally do not feel it’s worth it to pay for them. So for me, the premium is not a good fit, but the app in general is really nice. I downloaded & used it basically from launch & there were a bunch of bugs (I’d have to “restore purchases” every time I opened the app, it would force close). But, since it was brand new that’s really to be expected. I think the casting option doesn’t work for all TVs. I have an old Vizio tv, but I have a fire stick on it, & I can cast videos onto my tv from YT, but for some reason it doesn’t (or didn’t, not sure if this has been recently fixed) cast to my tv, so I have to either struggle to do the workouts while looking at my tiny phone screen, or look up the same video on YT so I can cast it to the TV.

Great app. Visually appealing and easy to use. I like following along with the calendar and having it take me directly to all the workouts for the day (all ad-free btw).

Why is the monthly calendar paid feature when you do give them for free online? I have no incentive to use the app then as something which I get for free is being monetized here. Instead of focusing on providing variety, this is just a YouTube channel put in an app, asking money for things that you get for free from the CREATOR for free. No incentive to use the app.

  • Love it! Aug 4, 2020

I started the Blogilates Beginner Calendar last month (I just started week 4) and I am loving this app! I am only using the free version at the moment, but it is still working just fine. I saw some reviews about not being able to show completed workouts and I had this trouble too, but I realized that you have to click done at the bottom after you finish the workout and then it’ll record it in the stats! I’d love to have a search bar to find a name of a workout easily, but I just scroll until I find the name. I also hope that the beginner calendar could be added as a challenge, so it’s easier for newbies like me to join right in! I will be purchasing the monthly subscription after I finish the beginner calendar. I would absolutely recommend this app to everyone and I think the small price of 3.99/mo is worth it to support Cassey and have everything beautifully organized in one spot.

  • What a BEAUTIFUL app! Jul 31, 2020

Ok, I just opened it and immediately fell in love with the colors! It just POPS and lifts my mood! It's so beautiful and happy! I looked around to check out all the videos, calendars, and challenges and I HAVE to say that this is AMAZING! Everything is so seamless and easy to use! I LOVE that I can cast all the videos straight to my TV and I LOVE that I can create favorites AND search for workouts under certain categories (like stretching or abs!) I also love that the workouts are also written out! So I can plan my next move by looking ahead - which makes my workouts much easier to follow along with you! The fact that I can use this app is so helpful too because I travel a lot. So I REALLY need workouts that i can follow right from my phone and this is it! I LOVE the calendar option too! So you just tell me what to do and I'm good to go! So thank you! This was such a thoughtful app! I've honestly never seen another workout app that was so beautiful AND functional! Many workout apps aren't beautiful but they have great workouts or they are beautiful but they don't work well and aren't intuitive. So I end up not using those apps because i don't enjoy the functionality or the appearance. But yours, has both! I'm so deeply grateful for the time you took to create this for us! So I just bought the yearly subscription! Thank you for everything you do Cassey! 💛

Love Cassey's workouts and having everything in one place has kept me engaged and motivated. Have been following the monthly calendar workouts and it feels so good seeing your progress day after day during the month and also seeing those ticks makes you feel accomplished and keep coming back. I also love the feature where you can check the entire calendar videos, because I always want to see what's coming next. The app is having updates very often and keeps getting better and better!

  • Awesome App So Far Aug 18, 2020

    By Abickett93
I love how organized the app is. The profile page keeps track of how many workouts you have completed and let’s you mark your favorites. It also keeps track of where you are in the challenges. Before I was using Facebook to follow all the workout videos. It was annoying with all the ads and trying to scroll through the feed to find the next challenge video. With the app it’s all in one place plus ad free 😄There are just a couple things that I think could be fixed. I wish it would show the difficulty on the video before you click on it. I have to open up each individual video just to see how hard it is. Secondly I wish it would show you which videos you have already done so that I can keep trying new ones. I am a very forgetful person haha Maybe the app already does this but I haven’t figured it out. If those small things could be changed it would be perfect! At least for me 🥰All in all great app!

Just downloaded this today and started the free trial so I could see the other features (kind of irritating that you can't see what's in the premium tabs until you get the trial - it'd be nice to see maybe 1 or 2 options). Nice design, seems easy to use. That said, please allow manual input for birthday since scrolling back 35 years takes a long time! I'd also like to see an option to "sign up" for the beginner calendar as a challenge maybe to track that in the app.

I love the app - the design is amazing and intuitive. As for changes, I wish the free subscription allowed me to have a calendar, where I myself could assign my exercises of the week, linking the videos to watch. Also, it would be great to have a filter in the workout section, to look for a specific video. Another thing that I think could help is to have thumbnails gifs of the positions in the list exercise that follows the video, for reference. Can't wait to see what comes next in the app!

  • Gorgeous, but I wish we could manually enter our calendar progress Aug 2, 2020

    By Becca L.
First of all this app is gorgeous. It’s super aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. I’ve been using Casey’s free workout calendar for awhile now and heard her mention the app had the ability to check off workouts on the calendar as you go. I downloaded the app and created my profile, but was disappointed to see that you need to pay to access the calendar (which is still free on the website thankfully). I thought okay, well maybe I can still edit my profile manually to show my progress through the workouts and the challenges (your profile has a stat for percent complete of the calendar and any challenges you do) but unfortunately you can’t seem to change that with the free version. So even though I’m working out every day, my profile shows 0% complete for everything which is kind of a bummer. I’m not asking for everything to be free, because really we get a TON of awesome content for free, I just wish I could manually enter my progress and see my percent completion for motivation!

  • Great idea, but I’m disappointed about the monthly sub Aug 1, 2020

    By sophiemafilios
I was so excited for her new app when I got the email! I totally understand that this app is also a way of revenue for Cassey, but I originally followed her because her apps/videos were free. She deserves to make money off this yes, but seeing that I have to be constantly re-billed a monthly or yearly fee to have content that is free everywhere else is a bit of a bummer. I would have rather paid a one time fee for the app, even if it was like $10. Again, I understand that since everything else is free, the argument for charging for convenience on a phone app does have some value. I personally just will not be paying a monthly or yearly fee to get otherwise free material. I would be more keen on purchasing through the app if maybe there was exclusive content on there like the shopping list or 90 day planner (things you have to buy from her merch store) available on the app as well! Not a bad idea either since that planner has actually sold out!

Amazing app! I love the user interface and everything about it. One problem which appears to be quite common is that you can't look at past or future dates on the calendar. However two other issues I've experienced which I don't know if other people have is that the calendar days aren't right. As I'm writing this it is Monday however the app says it's Sunday on the calendar feature. Also the calendar isn't the same as the print out, I don't know if this is intentional though

Agree with others regarding being told it was free, then seeing a subscription. I'd suggest adding a few of the old calendars for free, and charging for new or certain challenges. I think a lot of people are willing to pay, especially since the price is pretty nominal, but maybe it's better to present it as free with additional subscription options just to eliminate the element of surprise. Otherwise the graphics are gorgeous and the layout is so easy to use. Will totally use it!
