Wish it used a wider range of notes
Jan 17, 2016 It seems like this would be obvious, but here goes: The easier levels should involve comparing VERY different pitches to make it....easier. For example, the king blob sings C4. The other blogs sing C4, Bb4, and F3. It's much easier for a new learner to pick the right pitch because the other options are so obviously far away from C4. Move the note options closer in pitch to the correct note as the game progresses to make it more difficult. Also in general, this game should utilize more range. Untrained ears (children especially) have a hard time discerning notes that are out of their singing range. This game is a great idea, could use a little more tweaking to make it actually effective.more -
Blob Order?!?
Mar 28, 2016 All in all I think it is a great app for learning pitch... But I think that King blob should sing before the rest of the blobs. -
Great game
Apr 18, 2015 I really like music and I play this app in school so thought I would get it on my Ipad I like playing these kind of games and it is really fun to play -
Not working anymore on iOS 14.2
Nov 28, 2020 I’ve been using this app for a few years now with my students. It won’t open anymore once I updated to iPad OS 14.2. -
Best to help
Mar 7, 2015 Can help you test your hearing for music! 😃✅💯

Good for some, not for others.
Mar 10, 2017 The concept is excellent. Our friend who has a 4 year old loves it. We have a 2 and 5 year old, both very bright and love to play. The 5 yr old picked it up quickly & learned to choose the "incorrect" answers and watch them get squashed. Our 2 year old enjoyed watching him, and started walking around saying "blah blah blah". We won't be using this app after all 😢. Maybe at some point down the road.more -
Where’s the sound?
Dec 3, 2018 Love this app. and recently shared it with yet another friend who wants to learn to sing. It’s a fun way for folks of all ages to learn how to match notes. But there’s no sound now! Am a missing a setting? Is there something I can change on my iPad?more -
Fix the Singing!
Jan 19, 2018 I agree with others that this is a great concept, but poorly executed. My piano students love it but even the best struggle with hearing the notes because the pitches are not steady. Please fix it so I can use it with my students again!more -
No sound
Nov 9, 2018 I have use this app for years, but the sound no longer works now that it is on my iPad 5. I wish this could be fixed since my students enjoy it. -
I couldn't figure out how to use it
Jul 6, 2015 It was very confusing-I couldn't figure out whether it was working, what to do, or whether my answers were correct.

No sound
Dec 11, 2019 The sound isn’t working! I’ve tried the app on three different devices and the sound isn’t working on any. That’s the one component this app actually needs! -
No audio
May 20, 2017 Iphone 6s plus. IOS 10. No audio. *edit: sometimes the audio works through Bluetooth but never through the speaker, weird. -
Sound isn’t working on iPhone 11
Jan 9, 2020 Sound not working on iPhone 11 and just paid for the app?? How do I get a refund since sound is pretty important? -
No sound!
Jan 6, 2017 The app will not create any sound anymore with new iOS update on ipad! Please update the app. My students miss it.
What’s Groovy
I use this app in my music class and the students love it. I do have some exceptional students and they have a difficult time hearing some of the lower pitches. This game would be perfect if the tones were clearer and soprano and alto voices were included as an option. Also, some of the tones are 1/4 steps apart (a little out of tune) making the app difficult to match the pitch since it falls in between the cracks. Otherwise, this is a great app and has much merit.

What’s Subpar
This is a great concept for a game/learning tool, and could be very useful if a few things were changed. I agree with another reviewer who said the easier settings should use wider intervals that are easier to hear (4ths, 5ths, tritones, etc). Additionally, the vocal samples used make it very difficult to tell what pitch they're actually singing. There's a very wide, uncentered vibrato on many of them, which totally skews the pitch center, making it sound only about 40 cents away from a note that is probably meant to be a half-step away. If you used samples in a different tessitura and with a clearer pitch center, this app would be 10X better, and I would pay money for it.
