    Having to sign in with user ID and password each and every time I want to use the app - instead of incorporating TouchID or FaceID into the mix - makes using this app sufficiently painful that it is a deal killer for me.

    I am very happy with the kill switch. Before this, competing apps (I couldn't figure out which), used to switch off the VPN and I found myself repeatedly without it in the middle of, say, a banking operation. I also like the VPN reconnects by itself, as opposed to me having to change back the settings each time. Thanks. Edit - unfortunately, it doesn't appear to always reconnect automatically ... Edit - It does eat up the battery too.

    9/29/20, after using the standalone VPN application for a number of days I do find that it is not as stable as the VPN that is built into bitdefender Mobile Security. And it most certainly does go down more than once while you are connected to the internet, which is not good. Because that is how your data is actually being leaked. So until such time as the standalone program performs better, I will be staying with the VPN in the application. Or I'll use a different VPN.

    Simple to use with a nice layout. If I could put something on the wishlist, it’s that the app would auto connect when the phones connects to open WiFis or a pre-made list.

    Doesn't stay signed in for me. I sign in, then sometimes can connect to vpn, others not. When i bring another app to foreground and then switch back to bd-vpn outs signed out. Not really using it just now. Continuing to use vpn from bd-management app. I don't think I'd renew my subscription if this is still the case, likely look at other options.

    I have been using it for a few weeks now. It kind of disconnected rsndomly throughout the day... which is not great. But it worked, most of the time. But my big issue right now is that it stopped connecting, at all. It either sais that the connection took to long or that there i no connection, when i'm clearly connected to wifi. Some help woul be nice!

    Just updated my subscription to vpn. Was using mobile security app. Prompted to get this app from within that app. Worked for one day and crashed on I phone and I pad. Only has auto connect vpn, can’t choose country like other app. This can’t connect to any server. Error code 2. Don’t use till fixed.

But my payment - MADE IMMEDIATELY THROUGH ITUNES - hasn’t gone through, so my software tells me that I must AGAIN SUBSCRIBE! Come on! Who didn’t see this issue BEFORE my service interruption?

    The idea of this app is great, I love that I can leave it running and that it will connect to the internet automatically. The downside is that this app KILLS my internet connection, I am constantly having issues with connectivity. Just stick to the normal Bitdefender app and turn on the VPN manually.

    Great VPN but I can't afford it as it is somewhat expensive for the service it offers. I have a different app which does everything it does and it's basically free. Shame on them for being overpriced for basic settings and functions provided. Pitiful!!!

    Hmmm... So, it's just a standalone app. I already have it integrated with Bitdefender Mobile Security app. Thought this app would have other features such as, location selection by cities, knowing what IP you've been assigned... What I 😍: 1) Internet Kill switch. 2) Auto connect on Public Wifi as soon as you connect to one. 3) This ver. of VPN is actually easy on battery.

    Excellent VPN product, Only problem is unstable VPN connectivity most of the time, when you are using Internet, VPN connection automatically disconnected and few seconds later it connected automatically.

    A stand alone app. Its not inside main security app, and no need to upgrade. Its new and needs work before replacing the old VPN. I installed it for less than 12 hours and my Huawei phone is warning me it's a very power intensive app that's draining my battery quickly (which it is), by continually refreshing in the background. One of the good points about BD is that they don't do this, and are very light on resources. Can't replace in app VPN until sorted, so what point is an in app upgrade?

    I'm going middle-of-the-road on this app, maybe 10% of the time I can use it, locks up, my page won't update, very slow IF it does work But... it could be my #Sprint phone network or #T-Moble that is now possibly running my network but it was this way from day one. 😡 Why am I still using the app??

    9/2020: I PAID for the anti everything plan + VPN. VPN is limited, though not discussed. MULTIPLE emails get replies about 7 days later asking for same info. Seven + days for failed security concerns. Unacceptable. This free versions is the same. Worthless, no support. AVOID THIS COMPANY! UPDATE: Three weeks post last email, 1 week post this review I was finally issued a full refund. No numbers ever given with emails so can't respond to below comment.

    Apparently this new VPN isn't ever going to work. I have contacted support whom tells me to do what I have already did over and over again. Useless information. The VPN needs repairs so that it can work properly. Until then, I haves to leave it uninstalled.

    Can't see how much data I've used by end of VPN session as earlier in bitdefender app. It also reconnects and reconnects again again. Only works after restarting. This is worthless. Definitely not worth paying for

    Well It does work welon the cell phone but the home network forget it waste so far of 40 dollars to me they have ways to work around but none work on period paint pissed right offfff and I have been a customer for years now but getting old maybe I need to look for another hate to but hey the VPN sucks Dave and not a computer dummy here started on MS-DOS myself and the roof was the limit after that thanks guys gals hope for some feedback and a renew of the year from the start???

    This was a bad idea to have it as an application on its own. It keeps dropping just like on the laptop. It worse irritating and not so secure. It should be integrated as a component not a stand alone. Please reconsider this idea. I hate it on the laptop and on the mobile. It is not safe
