I loved this app
Sep 3, 2019 I used this app for my first delivery. My son was overdue and I needed to be induced. He was 10lbs 11 oz. I birthed him vaginally, without the use of vacuum and forceps. I felt like this app helped me tap into my inner strength and birth this beautiful boy in about an 8 hour labor. Considering his size and that I was a first time mom, I can’t be anything but grateful for this tool and asset to women during pregnancy and labor. I am now pregnant with my second and am planning to use it all along as well. Thank you Paola for making this app for us!more -

Nov 18, 2019 Actually useless app. It's a free app to have, it however is not free to use. You get a quick audio telling you about the hypnotherapist and what she does, everything else is locked and expensive to listen to. €8 some odd to listen to a 40 min audio on hypnobirthing. No thanksmore -

For running a hypnobirthing app, it sure seems like you could use a little more self-care. Lighten up.more -

When you pay for the app you only get the intro and one meditation which isn’t anything better than you get by googling meditation. Very frustrating and should be made clear initially.more -

Nov 23, 2020 It worked fine until I paid the $8.99 for the Hypnobirthing audios. As soon as I did that it kept crashing. I deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times and it kept doing the same thing. So now I’ve paid and cannot use it. It shuts down 5 secs after opening it.. Frustrating...more -

I also bought the book to get the theory and it said you should get recordings for free. But where to get them I never found out.more -
Jan 17, 2017 This has saved me from preggo insomnia! However the app always crashes overnight and means my alarm clock just keeps on vibrating, which is weird. At least I sleep though!

Too much talking about random stuff like work and life, the things you are trying to switch off from! Have listened to the hypnobirthing session a few times not really convinced it will work, lots of random instructions and trying to cover all bases, I just found myself getting frustrated. I wouldn't bother paying for the full app, I regret it.more -
Slightly too fast/too loud to relax
Mar 13, 2019 I’ve done some sleep meditations in the past was hoping to use this to help keep me calm and visualize during my upcoming labor but it was just too loud (I tend to like quiet voices that blend a little with the back ground) and she spoke a touch too fast that it kind of made me anxious. I went a different route on amazon but that was just based off the free visualization meditation on the app.... maybe the birth portion that you buy is different...more

What’s Groovy
I used the Inner Power Hypnobirthing book and CD for the birth of both of my boys. I only wish this App had been developed sooner!
I still use Paola's relaxation track, which I have found invaluable over the years to help me revitalize my energy from exhausting days and nights from both children and a demanding job.
I am so excited to have access to the relaxation program on the app wherever I go!
I have recommended Inner Power Hypnobirthing numerous times, and I look forward to sharing the app with others.

What’s Subpar
I listened to about 1/2 of the free session but having used lots of self hypnosis apps for various self help and really finding them useful I found this one the least relaxing and helpful of any I have ever tried. The speech is much to fast paced and made me feel anxious as my mind was unable to do what was been asked before moving onto the next thing. I had to switch it off and certainly would not consider purchasing the paid elements based on the free session.
