Generally happy with using this over two weeks. Helpful tool to encourage walking and consuming adequate water throughout the day. Downside: if you set your phone down, there is no record of any activity...and no way for you to add steps. Best used in combination with other measurement/weight loss apps. Also...the “prompts” that are auto-generated seem to have ne reference to your actual steps. “You can do it!”—when you have already surpassed the daily goal.

I just finished the first 28 day walk your butt off program. I am very obese and love the program. It allows me to walk at my own pace. In the beginning, my brisk walk was the same speed as my current warm up pace. I totally enjoy the program. I agree with the other comments that the voice is robotic and not motivational but the walking program is excellent. My only problem with the program is that now i have finished the 28 days, i cannot switch to the intermediate level.

Personally, I enjoy this app. I am disabled and suffer much back pain so I am limited on treadmill walking. This app gives me enough variety of plans to follow to allow me to be more active and to shoot for a goal.

It works great on iPhones and androids. The only thing I wish was different is that it pauses the time if the screen turns off.

The thing that pisses me off is that I already have a subscription to one of their fitness apps. So being forced to pay a SECOND subscription ontop of the one I already have to the same developer is incredibly unnecessary and infuriating. It is only a walking plan. It should be free or attached to one of the main fitness apps. Yet another fitness developer that is completely stupid and brainless because they think with only their pockets and not their brain. Sad. Very sad.

The app led me thru a series of start up questions such as height, weight, weight loss goal, etc all with a “continue” button at the bottom of the pages..until about the 3rd page which has a list of features such as “Professional walking programs”, “Audio guided walks”, “Daily statistics”, etc and that now familiar “continue” button at the bottom of the screen page. Except this page had small print after the continue button that you would not see unless you scrolled down. The small print informs you that pressing the above “Continue button” means you accept their privacy policy and the billing terms. You are agreeing to being billed $9.99 per month if you pressed the “Continue” button. No way for me to back out of this page or go to other areas of this app...I’m locked into agreeing to a subscription I do not want so I deleted the app. That small print further informs me that deleting the app will not cancel the subscription. So beware. The app can lead you through a deceitful series of questions using a strategically placed “Continue “ button at the bottom of the pages until you get to the subscription page with its small print below the page fold after the “Continue “ button.

This app is FRAUD! I am on day 15 and I noticed that the walks seem longer than the time they say its going to be. Today I decided to start my own clock timer on my phone when I started the walk. The walk today was SUPPOSE to be 23 minutes, but after what seemed to be me walking forever I looked at my own timer and it said I had already walked over 40 minutes! so I go back to the app and it claims I only have been walking for 9 minutes! UNSUBSCRIBING!

  • DECEPTIVE TACTICS!!! Jul 3, 2019

This rating thing REALLY needs to have a zero stars option. I am livid at the deceptive tactics used by this company to obtain customers. It tricks you into clicking on the $119 year long subscription. It lists prices leading you to think once you click on the app you will be given a choice to select on of those options, but instead it automatically signs you up for whatever the browser is on...and of course they set it to be on the most costly. It leaves people accidentally clicking on a year instead of a month. It also deceptively states that “your card will not be charged if you cancel before (one year from the date of clicking on the app, in my case July 2,2020). Nowhere does it state that your card is already charged! Yet another deception. To make matters worse, they refuse to give refunds. You have to call apple itunes to get it refunded (which they will do). Extremely shady app. I do NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! They are con artists. If you value your money, don’t click on ANYTHING they offer. I can see from the reviews that I am FAR from the only person this has happened to.

Since the dev's responded to my last review I decided to post again. Almost all of the responses say "the trial is for the monthly plan and you chose the year". In the app this is in no way explained, and it's done that way purposely because despite all the negative reviews, you as the developers have LEFT IT THAT WAY because you don't care that you're scamming people out of their money with a sub-par product as long as you get paid. As such, I will gladly leave 1 star reviews every day forever.

  • First Day Oct 3, 2019

So this is my first day using the app and so far I’m impressed. I wish the voice wasn’t automated like a robot though. It would be so much nicer if it was a real persons voice to help with the motivation! But I am winded on my first day of walking and I like to consider myself at least lightly active because I walk everyday but not like this. Lol. I feel great and my legs are tired from this. Very excited to start on my journey to a better skinnier me!

  • Can’t cancel Feb 9, 2020

The app is fine, but I want to cancel the auto renewal. I have been to AT&T and they were very surprised that I could not pull up app and simply cancel. The sent me to the Apple store and they too were surprised that I could simply cancel. They said I had to contact the ME app online. Well, I cannot find contact information. I have auto renewal coming up. At this point I plan to cancel my card. Any suggestions?

  • Really did something with this morning’s walk Sep 2, 2019

    By callmecarleen
I’ve had this app loaded for a while and finally tried it out. I walk 10,000/day on a regular basis but not often with such determination. I opted for no headphones and no music because I love to walk pre-dawn and listen to the world awaken. My only wish is for an actual voice to lead me rather than computer lady. Thanks for this fantastic motivation. I used the scheduler to keep me on track the rest of the week.

  • Cancelling subscriptions Apr 16, 2019

    By Jewelsm1127
Seems like the biggest issue is users not understanding how to manage their descriptions. A simple google will answer that question for you. On your mobile device go to settings, iTunes & App Store, Tap your Apple ID at the top, scroll to subscriptions, tap the subscription you want to manage and that’s where you will find all the renewal and cancellation options. This is how Apple manages all of its app subscriptions.

I subscribed to this app to help me start walking again after an operation.... it worked well for awhile but as it guides you through “ warm up, moderate and brisk walking” for some reason it drops out after “cool down walking” ie: it doesn’t tell you when you’re done ! Also it doesn’t let you look back at previous days walking or number of the previous days steps. Also any way to get a more realistic voice ? “ Mod-er-ate” walking ? Thanks.

  • Only 2 downsides so far Sep 24, 2019

So I do like this app except it doesn’t sync with my Apple Watch and it doesn’t let me go back to see the day or week before. I really carry my phone on a walk.. no pockets, but I do have my watch on me every time. So my watch will show a lot more steps than the app is showing. Not being able to go back to see what I did the day before to try and better it with more steps or what not.

  • Great app but.... Sep 11, 2019

    By NyssaM.
I love the layout and features, but when I was doing the workout, after 2 sections (1 moderate walk= 5 minutes, and 1 fast walk= 1 minute) it would close automatically and no longer log my walking! It happened twice during my workout so I had to stop using it. If they fixed this problem I would definitely give a five star.

  • No way to check a previous day Jun 9, 2019

    By Jayneny
New to this app, and just after midnight, I wanted to go in to add water consumption for the day. Couldn’t do it. Also couldn’t check the calories burned for the day. Frustrating! Definitely something for the next version...there should be a calendar feature so one can go in and check/amend previous days activities!

  • New App Nov 27, 2019

    By jvrsgq
I just got this yesterday and I’m still trying to figure out how to use it. How does it know how much water you drink (it hasn’t prompted me to do so yet, even though I set it to do so). How does it count your footsteps during the day (not workout time)? It could use some improvement as far as user friendliness goes, needs to be easier to understand. Update: I now know how to use it, and it’s exactly what I want as far as what it offers, but it turns out that unless you’re willing to upgrade (i.e. pay money) you can’t access beyond the first 2 days of workout plans. This app shouldn’t be advertised as free when you really have to pay in order to use it. Doing that makes it the app equivalent of click bait.

Well when the screen time turned out pause the work out timer until I turned the screen back. So I had an extra seven minutes to the work out which great because I got a longer work out. But the time should not pause when the screen timer on the phone settings turns it off.

I was really hoping for something with better options and more effective than other programs I have used like Samsung Health. I was never given the option for a trial period and the only way to explore the app was to pay for it. Unfortunately, I paid for 1 year... used it once and deleting the app. May worm for someone else... going back to Samsung Health.

  • Needs Apple Health Integration Aug 24, 2019

    By cali1907
This would be so much better if it tied into the apple health data that is already being collected. This app only measures steps or distances the phone moves. If you use a treadmill and put the phone on the treadmill to see what’s coming up, or to change music, those steps don’t count for App purposes (part of why I always wear my Apple Watch- I don’t want my phone in my pockets full time). I’ll likely never hit the step goal in the app, but will in reality (which is what matters) and in the health app. I would have thought for something that is a $119 subscription, it would have been built better. This feels like a beta at best.

  • Charged without approval Jun 29, 2019

    By SGB4444
Just like others, I though I was just trying it out but later noticed a charge for 133 dollars! Guess I’m stuck with it now but I’m trying to unsubscribe so I’m not stuck next year. How do I do that? Gave it two stars because I’ve done a few of the walking workouts and it was a little helpful in staying motivated; however people shouldn’t be able to skip sections and the work you’ve done the day before shouldn’t disappear, as others have mentioned. I might like the app better if I wasn’t charged such a high amount without my approval. Sneaky...
