Stop making me play just so I can have a thing for like only a month then have to pay again what do you think I am a billionaire? Could you at least make some more songs free completely so we (I) don’t have to pay! Anyways I like that we can make our own music but to improve I think you guys should also make it so when you record you can use your voice for free and you guys should have people who are using your app if they want to make a song by using your app then let them! And I just love that we can hear what we made after we made it! You guys could collaborate with other music apps and make one big huge music app so that was my thoughts on your app thank you for reading this and I wish you great luck!! more

It's okay. The packs you have access to are interesting and it has a tutorial that is fun to use, making it like a game to learn how to use the app. However there are some problems. If you try to make a particularly fast beat there can be some lag on the sound occasionally. Also, once you make a recording you can't edit it, so you can't layer things the way the ad shows. Edit: I just realized there is a "pro mode" that you can turn on to do the layering for no extra charge. more

I really like making my own beats also I’m in love with music! I found this app about one year ago and downloaded it on my iPad then ( actually two days ago) my iPhon. so I can say I know it well! At first this app offered me free beat boxes without ads but after that it started to limiting my beat boxes access so then if I wanted to make my own beatbox , just one or two of them was free and some of them that I was using them , I must pay for using or watch ads! So that was the negative thing ! (for full access you have to pay :\ ... ) The positive one is that the beat and pads are incredible!! :)) I fall in love with them! now I watch ads but use the lovely pad (not all of them that I want because I should pay :|.. ) and just one beatbox that left 😂 I use that too although I’m bored of it ..I don’t like that beat .. U know 😐.. I suggest this app if you’re: in love with beatbox and patience 😜🔥..( if you pay 💰 YOU WILL BE A KING 🤩😂 and have really fun and lovely moments! 😐🤘🏿) ..u choose! good luck 🍀;) ♥️✨ more

It's OK. It has good sound packs and the tutorial feature is nice. The ads are pretty excessive. When not using a pad, like navigating the UI just about every button press results in an ad. Sometimes 2. Subscription based pay model is a big turn off, and most of these packs are free on bandlab. I like the layout, it's very responsive. It just seems greedy with its intrusive ads and subscription only Setup. I think there is a better way this could be done. more

It's actually better than expected...much better! I do have one slight hitch which lost that 5th star. On a Samsung S8+ the audio during creation and recording has a great deal of random static. During playback of samples and playback of recorded tracks it's clear and smooth sounding, so I am pleased with the end result. I do like the skill improvement feature, it was something I didn't know I needed. more

I downloaded this app because of those chainsmokers songs you guys implemented into the app and i loved it and was gonna keep the app... until for some reason you got rid of them and now i was stuck with default sound packs and a lot of which you have to buy that in app purchase to unlock and i deleted the app because it seems as if the app doesn't have enough new things and what i mean by that is like maybe artist want to put they're songs in the app or whatever and make it fun to remix them etc and put more imagination into it i just feel as if you can implement or work with well known artists that wanna put a song into a sound pack to remix etc and it would be really fun to play around with. Sorry if im not making sense i just hope this is understandable and in the future there is a change and i can play this app because don't get me wrong I LOVE IT but... it needs just a lil more i feel more

Love it. I have tried again and again to find an app I could use to write a character theme since I’m not a composer. I’ve tried 4 or 5 and lost hope. This one truly had almost everything I was looking for. I love so many of the pack choices, and don’t mind watching the adds the app uses. Good quality sound and few glitches at all. However, I wish they would let you make a kind of custom pack. Where you can use a pad to create and save your own tunes in whatever instrument. I really wish they would add orchestra as an option for sounds as well. But these are rare to find in any app and never free. So, I understand. Don’t regret getting it and I would suggest it to anyone who was interested in making music. more

It's an interesting app, certainly. Not a fan of having to buy the "fancy" version, just to play around with to make music. I realize if you want the real tool, you need to purchase it, much as if you purchased an instrument. But I try to stay f2p; I'm not made of money, sadly. And I haven't yet figured out how to port my samples, either, onto my phone or whatever, but I suspect that in order to do that, once again, you probably have to BUY the "full" version. more

Before, a long time ago,I wanted, to download this app. So I downloaded, it thinking, there would be no trials. I opened up the, app once it downloaded, and it introduced, me and all that stuff and than it said “FREE TRIAL ALL ACCESS” I looked, for an X out button so I could begin but I didn’t find an X so I said in my head This app is crap, and it won’t frickin’ let me do anything! It’s been 2 years now I downloaded it thinking it changed, and it did the same thing again, but this time I saw an X on the top left corner on my screen, is was very faded so I couldn’t see it good but it was there! So now I learned to look more closely have a good day developers and I recommend making the X a bit brighter so people can see it better and not call it a crap app! Have a good day or night where ever you are 😑😊😁 more

I must have to say that you should be able to play this app for free. I was stuck on the first page and it said that I could get a free trial. I didn’t want to get it and I tried many ways to get off of the page. I was playing the game and it was very buggy, and ads were literally everywhere. When I was in the middle of playing, an ad popped at me, and I had to wait about 30 seconds and another 12 seconds for the demo, and the x button wasn’t working. I’ve seen the reviews and they are horrible, and are covered in the five and four star reviews. This isn’t fun at all! We literally do NOT like this game and I wish I could scream because of it. When you say,”We will fix it” that is a LIE. You say that you are going to improve it, but I don’t see any progression. Just why? Are you weighing the money more than the enjoying? If you want to make a game good, you want people to actually WANT TO PLAY IT. If it is good, then they will PAY for it. You just ruin people who can’t plays’ experience much much worse. This is horrible and I will uninstall until you actually CHANGE it. I already know that you’re going to say,” Sorry” and do nothing. It’s like stealing candy from a baby and saying sorry, while not giving it back. We WANT better gameplay. Not just trash games. I trusted the sellers until I saw the reviews. They were right. This WAS trashy, horrible, and disgusting. The first MINUTE was full of inside anger. Just FIX IT. F I X I T. Edit: And it’s the same old ads you use, over and over and over again. Ok, this game used to be good when I first started now all it is is ads like I try and look at my music there is a ad I want to play another then a ad I get that the game needs funding but rlly..? I’m the game is ok but, it’s just gets repetitive after awhile if you are like me you have been looking at the same dang ads forever also, every single song I love so much cost money I mean like sometimes at least give people that don’t want to spend money on this game a chance to get a good song or something like a Limited song that is free for a limited time and do like two every month but that is just my opinion 😐 but anyway the game may be great! Good beats and concept, just too slow and laggy. Couldn't keep up with my fingers and would just throw off the rhythm. The response time needs adjustments to keep up. It's even worse with headphones in. Maybe make recording and adding layers to your existing beat more simple. And it may be just me but it's hard to start on a beat, save what I have, add something else to it, save it, and continue adding things until I like it without having to restart. Also the Delay makes some things staticy. more

I downloaded this app for one reason to simply play around who don’t like catchy beats an why not see if I can’t kill some time making some but what ya know you can download the app but can’t do a thing with it unless ya agree to a one week free subscription then $7.99 a week after that so $32 a month to be able to hit your screen that has some preset beats please this is obviously a scam to make money an no doubt there’s some dumb kid who thinks he might be the next DrDre an maybe he will be but he won’t get rich being dumb getting caught up in scams like this. If ya going to have an app an say it’s a free download make it obvious that download of the app is free the use of the app however isn’t. I can’t stand that apple allows this,its so obvious they are counting on you wanting to play with it saying oh I can still use it for a week an forgetting to cancel an of ya gotta hustle some one out they money for your app then ya obviously should go back to the drawing board an make a better app an maybe more would purchase it or make it a .99 cent app with limited features at least then I couldn’t say your being deceitful more

No free mode for me to get comfortable with the app before considering the Pro subscription. There is a 3 day subscription trial, but I doubt it'd be very productive when still learning the ropes. In other words, give it a go if you have a large amount of time to kill, otherwise you're not getting much out of it without wallet commitment. more

Upon starting the app, it offers a free trial with a toggle icon, which is misleading. You can't toggle the trial off. Instead, you need to press the small link at the bottom to skip it. After that, it asks you twice more before letting you actually sample anything. The whole setup feels like a scam to get people to turn over their payment info before even trying anything. more

Alright… Where to begin? The app is good in general, but then you started to make almost every single music file thingy pro! Some things are good such as the quality of the sound. I was very content and happy playing these such as Moon light or light festival. One day I came the app to make a new song, but it became a pro! I was very upset then, because you shouldn’t make everything that everyone else might love something they can’t use. It’s much more difficult for me to use the app now because all of the music I love to use requires me to pay, which is not something everybody wants to do. Those two music pieces made me very happy, And now I’m very sad about them being gone for my use. If you’re deciding to make every single music file pro, along with every game, that’s a bad idea. Some people including me might stop using the app more because everything what we love you randomly took away. I’m sorry to critique. There are good things about the app, but this just isn’t one of them. more

It starts off by showing you what is clearly a slider or switch to turn on and off but it doesn't work. You have to like on the smallest possible text to use the free version. Bad start. If you just want people to subscribe to it just dont make it free in the first place. Very scummy thing to do and I'm sure is breaking some laws. Other than that the app works fine but dont install. Get drum pad machine instead because it doesn't use scummy tactics in the first 5 seconds of use. more

Paid for the full version after trial. Then sometime after paid subscription, alot of features disappeared such as tempo, loops, and pretty much anything that you can manage. Reached out to support, although very prompt, didnt really answer my questions. This experience isnt exactly what I paid for. The Ad made me do it 😅 more

When I first downloaded the game I loved itIt had so many beats now the downside is every time I click on a beat or out of itIt’s says it wants me to buy the premium which I understand so you can have a better experience with this app it’s been a few months and overall it’s a very very good game now I have read some of the reviews and a lot of them are negative because some people say that you have to pay others say it’s annoying when the premium pops up well yes it’s annoying I’m used to it it could be used for videos, songs and etc. conclusion: this is the best use for anything you’re making out of a song or videos. You guys need to have a subset of the record button to record say percussions for example so you can play what u previously recorded while u also add new stuff too it. Example: I press record and hit bass, drum, snare consecutively. That’s a good foundation but I can’t click those three keys over and over again while I try to add other levels to the song. Therefore I should be able to record my simple bass, drum, snare beat or whatever it may be so u can play that on repeat without having to actually press the keys. That way I can build off if it and add more sounds since I only have so many fingers. more

I like playing the free version, but I don’t like the sound of paying $8 a week to get more. I can buy a lot of video games for what that would add up to in a year... or even buying real instruments, and i already own a piano and guitar. At least you can watch videos and play games to unlock some of the features. I would suggest that you look into other payment options like paying a one time unlocking fee for the majority of the features, then having a monthly “asking” if we want to pay to have the new upgrades each month. I worry when companies try to push a subscription to a service. Just a thought. more

My wife and I play this and make beats together and it’s so great. Idk if there’s a loop option or what but I can’t find it if there is. If there isn’t I think it’d be a great addition to the app. Being able to make your own loop so you can add things to it would make this app the TOP beat maker. So many great sounds to work with but the missing loop option really kills it for us because we have to make the beat to the song, while adding other sounds and it gets tasking at times and sometimes ruins the song. I hope the devs see this and either add it or tell us how to get the loop option if there is one more

Could you at least make some more songs free completely so we (I) don’t have to pay! Anyways I like that we can make our own music but to improve I think you guys should also make it so when you record you can use your voice for free and you guys should have people who are using your app if they want to make a song by using your app then let them! And I just love that we can hear what we made after we made it! It's actually better than expected...much better! I do have one slight hitch which lost that 5th star. On a Samsung S8+ the audio during creation and recording has a great deal of random static. During playback of samples and playback of recorded tracks it's clear and smooth sounding, so I am pleased with the end result. I do like the skill improvement feature, it was something I didn't know I needed. more

Yep it’s fun but it doesn’t have much songs that actually are real like it doesn’t have some of the songs that I really like like so I also wanted to be less like having to watch 30+ pay for the songs because I really just want to play the songs and not have to deal with an ad and no ads in general because they’re so annoying .You also Should be able to make your own beats with out like people songs so you can actually like make beatbox and then make it into a piano thing I don’t know what it’s called keyboard that makes music overall the four-star it’s a great game and I would recommend playing it more

I really love making music on this app. It is sometimes hard to start from scratch and work all the buttons only by myself, although I really enjoy this app. This is the best app to pass the time! Besides the great sounds that are made through this app, the ad for premium music will keep popping up when you exit a music platform and enter. However, the ad will not pop up when I’m making new beats which I really appreciate. I tried using other music making apps and they will always have pop up ads in the middle of beats but not this app. I like this app and please do take my word for it, once you start playing it, the ads will be less annoying to you. It is really fun. more

Well over all its a decent game fun and easy to use! But the it started making this odd buzzing sound it would just randomly pause the game or "freeze it…" at first I was fine with it I thought it was nothing big but after further experience in the game this buzzing sound happened rather often… it only happens when I play the game and only started when I downloaded the game. I don't know why there is a buzzing sound but creators of the game please make a further review of the application at hand this was a rather annoying issue. Thank you I hope I can see this game back in shape soon with no problems! more

I give this app a four stars because I feel that the items exclusive only to the premium members is a bit bogus. although I do understand that getting people to sign up for the premium membership is one of the only ways you get money, since the app is free. This is a great app. I really want to give it five stars, but I can’t because...well, The Chainsmokers is the only genre (and it’s not even a real genre) that has more than two free songs. I mean, I get it, the developers need money. But why make ALMOST EVERY SINGLE SONG something that you have to pay for? On another topic, l might just be stupid, but when you record, you can’t go back to the original? Or is there just something I’m not getting? So far I see that beat maker has potential to be a really cool, app I think that you guys should consider adding the ability to take sound from packs and create customs packs. Which would give people a chance to put some sounds they want with others that may not be in the same pack. I think you should also add the ability to record certain, save and then play recordings on top of each other for and easier beat making process opposed to have to press buttons all in one recording. So, I love this. Very fun to make ur own beats and sounds. But the amount of ads.. it’s unbearable. I understand ya’ll want money but PLEASE after every button I press when I’m not making a beat: U wAnT cArVaNa?? PeRhApS gRaMmArLy?? I. Can. Not. TAKE IT! And what’s weird is that whenever I get the X button to skip, it says: “Here’s ur free gift!” Giving be a new pack with new beats, and then I’m like “cool!” And then I check it out, listen to the sounds, and then “okay I’m done here imma go back to the menu.” Ad, free pack, menu, ad, free pack, menu. I feel like I’m in a TIME LOOP. It gets to the point where I have to swipe the app away just to stop it. It’s fun when ads aren’t tormenting my every move and I can actually make songs. Get. Rid. Of. It's okay. The packs you have access to are interesting and it has a tutorial that is fun to use, making it like a game to learn how to use the app. However there are some problems. If you try to make a particularly fast beat there can be some lag on the sound occasionally. Also, once you make a recording you can't edit it, so you can't layer things the way the ad shows. Edit: I just realized there is a "pro mode" that you can turn on to do the layering for no extra charge. more

It's OK. It has good sound packs and the tutorial feature is nice. The ads are pretty excessive. When not using a pad, like navigating the UI just about every button press results in an ad. Sometimes 2. Subscription based pay model is a big turn off, and most of these packs are free on bandlab. I like the layout, it's very responsive. It just seems greedy with its intrusive ads and subscription only Setup. I think there is a better way this could be done. more

It's an interesting app, certainly. Not a fan of having to buy the "fancy" version, just to play around with to make music. I realize if you want the real tool, you need to purchase it, much as if you purchased an instrument. But I try to stay f2p; I'm not made of money, sadly. And I haven't yet figured out how to port my samples, either, onto my phone or whatever, but I suspect that in order to do that, once again, you probably have to BUY the "full" version. more

EvERy TiMe.....I might delete this app, I don’t know, and these beats are very hard. It expects you to do good every time. If it says, “You got 44% lower than average” or something like that it makes you RETRY. I only got this app cause I was making a song and I wanted a beat to go with it. When I saw the app I was like, ooh, this looks fun! So I was gonna go in and play cuz I really like music. But then....you have to pay. Yes, I know there’s a free trial, and yes, I know that’s how everyone makes their money. I’m fine with that, because that’s why you make these things. That and for peoples enjoyment, of course. But maybe for some people, that doesn’t work out. Since I'm broke(welp)and since my parents wouldn’t pay for this, I can’t play it. I have had this app before because well I wanted to wright a song but I threw it on the garbage because nothing was free. This is a really fun app, but I didn’t realize there were so many in app purchases until I downloaded it. Like, I get that you have to make money, but could you at least put in some alternative? Like maybe watch an ad or something, and get to unlock something for a few hours? Or have coins to buy the other sounds. You could earn these by watching ads, or maybe do a daily spin or something. I hope you use some of these ideas, because this is a really neat, fun app, but I’m finding it impossible to do any style of music I actually need. more

I love beat maker go and I’m always on it, especially in my free time. However, there could be a few improvements. 1. When I am recording and the game loops the music, it loops my song a bit too early. To solve this problem there should be a loop button when your ready. 2. A lot of the different generes of music are locked. I understand that you need to make money this way but, not that many need to be locked. These 2 problems may not seem like a lot, but the have a HUGE effect on the game. Thank you, and goodbye. more

There are a lot of in app purchases and you have to do a seven day trial free then you have to pay each month I would not recommend buying this game about downloading it actually because it is actually a web of you can’t do you know how many packs I need you to buy other games just for that game because the last of that you need to do just for the game so I wouldn’t recommend this that’s why it only has a three star rating maybe a half I don’t know but I really wouldn’t recommend this more

Good beats and concept, just too slow and laggy. Couldn't keep up with my fingers and would just throw off the rhythm. The response time needs adjustments to keep up. It's even worse with headphones in. Maybe make recording and adding layers to your existing beat more simple. And it may be just me but it's hard to start on a beat, save what I have, add something else to it, save it, and continue adding things until I like it without having to restart. Also the Delay makes some things staticy. more

Upon starting the app, it offers a free trial with a toggle icon, which is misleading. You can't toggle the trial off. Instead, you need to press the small link at the bottom to skip it. After that, it asks you twice more before letting you actually sample anything. The whole setup feels like a scam to get people to turn over their payment info before even trying anything. more

Alright… Where to begin? The app is good in general, but then you started to make almost every single music file thingy pro! Some things are good such as the quality of the sound. I was very content and happy playing these such as Moon light or light festival. One day I came the app to make a new song, but it became a pro! I was very upset then, because you shouldn’t make everything that everyone else might love something they can’t use. It’s much more difficult for me to use the app now because all of the music I love to use requires me to pay, which is not something everybody wants to do. Those two music pieces made me very happy, And now I’m very sad about them being gone for my use. If you’re deciding to make every single music file pro, along with every game, that’s a bad idea. Some people including me might stop using the app more because everything what we love you randomly took away. I’m sorry to critique. There are good things about the app, but this just isn’t one of them. more

This could be a potentially great application. However it’s missing basic recording and production tools. I get the fact it’s supposed to simulate a pad, which in itself is a great tool. But it’s not as responsive as a actual pad. A solution to this would be to create tracks with adjustable time signatures that the sounds you produce click into, thus ensuring perfect timing. Having a track layout with he pad to produce the sound would also make it easier to produce a beat over 5 sec. Artists don’t just use one pad connected to a speaker they use multiple pads, modules, synth boards, etc. make this app possess multiple functionalities. This would be an easy fix 👍 I regret purchasing this app for this main reason. It does retain its quality with the sounds it has over most that I’ve heard. Production ready sounds. 👍 Because of this flaw its playability is low. A product should be bought with the consideration of how much re-use it has. Currently, this app has the playability of flappy bird, I get the point and see where it could go but after one play through it’s just repetitive with no variables. I hope you considering adding these features for recording and mixing. And i hope more people request this as well so myself as well as everyone else can get there money’s worth, Good app that could be great. Thanks. more

So the beat maker itself is good. After a few minutes I decided to explore the app and that's where it went downhill. I go into the packs area and I could not find a way to get back to the beat maker. Universally an exit or back button is at the top or bottom of the screen yet nothing I saw brought me back to the beat maker. I then got frustrated and went to click my back button on my phone and it pulled me into an ad. What a strategic placement for ads...smh. Its 2019 people are catching onto BS more

Now here’s the thing, this app’s soundboards are great, but you’d have to pay a lot of money to get access to them every week. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if only some of the soundboards required premium, but basically every one of them do. I understand that this is a free app but they also put loads of ads in. Again, I wouldn’t have a problem with this if the ads were balanced for example a ad every minute thirty seconds (at least). Why I gave this two stars is because of those reasons above but, I would like to add again that the soundboards are pretty good. So this leaves the choice for you because, if you’re really looking for good soundboards and you’ve got the money then you could definitely benefit from this. But, if you just want to play around (like me) and you are just a 7-9 year old (also like me) then you might want to try and find another app. more

I used to come on here everyday, just to open up one of the few “free” presets they had. Now every single preset is for “pro” users only; which is obviously the paid version of the app. They literally give you 1 preset that you can use now and that’s it. I won’t use the app anymore. The way it was before was perfect. I mean we had access to maybe 2% of their entire library and that was fine because it was free. It’s not like we expected new content for a free service, which is what “pro” users receive. But to take everything away from the people who used the app casually seems unfair and a very obvious attempt at getting more money. With that being said, if you don’t mind paying 7.99/ week (I personally think you’re better off just get a stand-alone DAW like Reason or Ableton at that price) then the quality is decent and the options are moderately good. more

I downloaded the app excited to get started on making some of my very own beats and I got hit with an “but this or you can’t use it.” Big oof man. You might think that I’m just hating on this app, and you’d be right I am. Devs should hit up EA they’d fit right in. I was playing the game and it was very buggy, and ads were literally everywhere. When I was in the middle of playing, an ad popped at me, and I had to wait about 30 seconds and another 12 seconds for the demo, and the x button wasn’t working. I’ve seen the reviews and they are horrible, and are covered in the five and four star reviews. This isn’t fun at all! We literally do NOT like this game and I wish I could scream because of it. When you say,”We will fix it” that is a LIE. You say that you are going to improve it, but I don’t see any progression. Just why? Are you weighing the money more than the enjoying? If you want to make a game good, you want people to actually WANT TO PLAY IT. If it is good, then they will PAY for it. You just ruin people who can’t plays’ experience much much worse. This is horrible and I will uninstall until you actually CHANGE it. I already know that you’re going to say,” Sorry” and do nothing. It’s like stealing candy from a baby and saying sorry, while not giving it back. We WANT better gameplay. Not just trash games. I trusted the sellers until I saw the reviews. They were right. This WAS trashy, horrible, and disgusting. The first MINUTE was full of inside anger. Just FIX IT. F I X I T. Edit: And it’s the same old ads you use, over and over and over again. Ok, this game used to be good when I first started now all it is is ads like I try and look at my music there is a ad I want to play another then a ad I get that the game needs funding but rlly..? I downloaded this app for one reason to simply play around who don’t like catchy beats an why not see if I can’t kill some time making some but what ya know you can download the app but can’t do a thing with it unless ya agree to a one week free subscription then $7.99 a week after that so $32 a month to be able to hit your screen that has some preset beats please this is obviously a scam to make money an no doubt there’s some dumb kid who thinks he might be the next DrDre an maybe he will be but he won’t get rich being dumb getting caught up in scams like this. No free mode for me to get comfortable with the app before considering the Pro subscription. There is a 3 day subscription trial, but I doubt it'd be very productive when still learning the ropes. In other words, give it a go if you have a large amount of time to kill, otherwise you're not getting much out of it without wallet commitment. more

It starts off by showing you what is clearly a slider or switch to turn on and off but it doesn't work. You have to like on the smallest possible text to use the free version. Bad start. If you just want people to subscribe to it just dont make it free in the first place. Very scummy thing to do and I'm sure is breaking some laws. Other than that the app works fine but dont install. Get drum pad machine instead because it doesn't use scummy tactics in the first 5 seconds of use. more

I just downloaded the app and already 8 adds have popped up about how there is an unlimited version of the app. I opened the app and went through a whole four page slideshow about what is available in the unlimited version. Then I was going through what seemed like a tutorial but it wasn't at all. It told me to try a couple sounds so I pressed on the buttons but instantly I was pushed to a different screen telling me to purchase all of the sound packs. I was instantly pissed off. more

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This is NOT a free app. The devs should take this down and just repost it as a paid version. In 1 minute of having open j had to wade through not only 3 or 4 buttons pushing me into a 3 day trial (what a joke) but also an auto $50 a year subscription. If you are smart enough to avoid that they hit you with not only alltime banner ads but interruption ads. I saw four in the first 5 minutes I used the app. one was 30 seconda that couldn't skip. And it's so limited as a free vers. more
