Great: but needs balancing!
Mar 21, 2018 By Bthill15This really is a fun game. It is interesting and has a different twist than other games In this category. I think the most obvious flaw is that some cards are so unbalanced that the game just snowballs way too quickly. There really needs to be a comeback mechanic in place. I personally think you could add a small turret to the base so that it can chip a few troops down (similar to clash royale). The stun spell literally lasts so long it’s insane and has a huge radius. Same with heal spell and many many others. Some cards just do way too much and others not enough. I think there needs to be careful thought put into each card and really evaluate what it should excel at. Too many cards that can just be spammed on the field thus making strategy go out the window. If you start with a bad hand the game will almost always go against you. Buuuuttt, the game is really fun and has a lot of potential. I think the developers have work to do to keep people playing or it will be easy to walk away. My favorite by far is the guerrilla game mode. Fun interesting new game types are what keep me interested. So keep it up! more -

Good game but unbalanced af
Mar 11, 2018 By Ivfyftyx66hxd18This is a game that I’ve enjoyed playing and does take strategy to win. But it feels like the developers hadn’t play tested this game at all. There are many cards which are beyond busted. The medkit heals so fast it makes your units virtually unkillable, a stunning shock lasts for 12 seconds and has ridiculous range... really every support card except that missile is too good. Because there’s so many busted cards, it makes the game snowball very fast and the first engagement critical. If you lose the first battle then your opponent snowballs and you lose otherwise vice versa. If you play against someone who moderately knows what they’re doing and they draw more support cards in their first ten cards than you do there’s no way to win. I’ve only had two back and forth games the 3 weeks I’ve played, everything else was a landslide victory one way or the other. The game is a blast to play so I give it 3 Stars but holy hell please balance this game. more -

The problem I have with it is that there are too many bombs to use and when you get a large number on the field the enemy just uses bomb after bomb and makes you waste all of your characters. It can be frustrating. more -
Matching system is terrible
Jan 1, 2020 By WowitsbobThis is a really fun game up to a point. When u start out u level up pretty quickly. Every 500 xp u move up a class and get new units. This is all great until u reach the 5000 range. The big problem is at 5000. At the end of each month there is a reset of your rank. If You didn’t reach 6200 during that month you get set back to 5000. So 90% of the people are stuck in this group. So if your just reaching 5000 for the first time your units are in the 5 and 6 range but since pretty much everyone gets reset to 5000 each month you will now be facing people with units that are 7,8 and 9 because you both have the same xp score of 5000. To make it even worse if lose 2/3 matches in a row this game will match u with a bot player who you can easily beat which moves you back up to face the real players that u have no chance of beating. It’s a never ending cycle. I personally know people who been playing for over 2 years including myself and have never broke the 6200 level. So that means each month U have to try and beat there level 8 and 9 units. In fact my clan has been one of the top clans in the game and not 1 person has made 6200. So enjoy it while you can but realize no matter how much money u spend you will be stuck and never advance. more -

There is a solid sense of competition which is fun, but you don’t need to pay to enjoy the game. There are a few issues but please remember the game has been open for only 19hrs. (Devs a one large issues to please review.) 1) Some people seem to get the tags (energy) WAY faster than me. I think it may be a bug, because the speed at which they drop troops is amazing. They could be spending all game and then drop three groups of active (50 tag tanks). I have seen some other people complaining about this... I just think it is worth a look. That being said, don’t let one issue stop you from downloading the game. From what I can tell the support in game is there and I am sure these opening issues will be resolved pretty quickly. more -

May 28, 2018 By BigMenaceI love it but some cards seem very over powered, cards that stun troops have a long effect, and gameplay seems a little bit too unbalenced as you can get a bunch of cards that aren’t relevant to situational use. Maybe letting the player pick there starting hand and the rest be random could help out. Also some cards aren’t effective enough and support cards have to huge a radius on the field, things like missiles and bombing runs make sense but a stun field that lasts 11 seconds is very OVERPOWERED, and troops that stun after every hit repeatedly is very OVERPOWERED as well. Its overall still a good game, but there could be a few improvements more -

I started feeling like my opponents were sometimes getting way more battle points that me so I started watching my replays and I found that about 8% of my battles there was a glitch where either me or my opponent would place a troop and it wouldn’t subtract any battle points. This is very frustrating and I hope it’s fixed, but other than that this game is INCREDIBLE! more -

I have complained before but no response. I am trying this level from last 1 month but system doesn't allow to even move on its as much hard that impossible to cross. This is all great until u reach the 5000 range. The big problem is at 5000. At the end of each month there is a reset of your rank. If You didn’t reach 6200 during that month you get set back to 5000. So 90% of the people are stuck in this group. So if your just reaching 5000 for the first time your units are in the 5 and 6 range but since pretty much everyone gets reset to 5000 each month you will now be facing people with units that are 7,8 and 9 because you both have the same xp score of 5000. To make it even worse if lose 2/3 matches in a row this game will match u with a bot player who you can easily beat which moves you back up to face the real players that u have no chance of beating. It’s a never ending cycle. I personally know people who been playing for over 2 years including myself and have never broke the 6200 level. Edit: The ads we can watch to speed up opening our chests only works half the time. I'm tired of watching these ads and not getting my speed-up. I'll give more stars when I see updates/improvements. Someone else mentioned in his review that people will spam bombs constantly, I've noticed this as well. It takes strategy out of the game and makes it less fun. more -

You'll end up being a new player with the basics as well as your teammate and your opponents are the complete opposite who can pretty much wipe out your whole army with like 2 units. and once your initial push has been destroyed, you might as well surrender or close the application, or possibly just uninstall. I saw the game posted as an advertisement and thought it looked cool, played it for one minute and it hasn't grasped my attention since. more -

Greedy devs

Not only that, a lot of troops are very poorly balanced and some guys have the most insane decks with high leveled units. The UI in-game is not appealing, either. It’s slow and laggy at times and going through multiple pages just to look for one troop is ridiculous. You guys could update and do better than that. The devs seem to not really care about the game either, they just put it out and sheep are falling for it and giving them money like it’s nothing. The latest app update had ZERO description of anything, there is also no maintenance packages for players for their nonsense. The devs of this game appear greedy and did not give much to new players to start out too. more -

Being able to spawn units in front of the enemy base is weird, it would be better if they had travel time to allow enemies to comeback, or limit the range to half of the map. Forcing pvp so early in the game is also not a great idea. more -

However, the skill and the creativity of the player mean nothing if you don't have enough cards and even more important if you don't level up the cards. A win in Silver 1 gives you 15 gold. A level up of a single card from level 5 to level 6 is freaking 8000 gold. That means that for a single card level up I need 500 wins. That's an absurd. The rewards are waaaay too small. There's no point in playing with this miserable rewards. more -

I tried joining a clan and it wnt let me, it says none available to join. I tried creating a clan and it just keeps saying "system busy" everytime I click 'create'. Its very annoying and will probably end up making me quit the game if it isnt fixed soon. Is there no developers updating and fixing things or is this just a broken game online for a quick money grab now? more -
Disappointed that they literally ripped off of another game
Sep 10, 2020 By RumflrThis game is practically a rip off of Guns Up, a PC/PS4 game. They literally copied a few of the art work/icons! Also, the music sounds extremely similar too. I’m not going to jump to conclusions, maybe they have license or permission. However, I am disappointed in lack of originality It is very similar to Clash Royale, where cards are dispensed to you throughout the battle and the cards are random. This game also has chests with random loot that can only be opened after some time. There wasn’t really a proper tutorial and I was pretty confused on what were good units and what unit is good for what job. Games can snowball pretty hard and if you don’t start out with [overpowered card] in your hand then you lose 5/10 meh more -

Even the modes that balance the levels give the opponent all the high powered units while leaving you with mere commons. There is no way these are all real time battles and if they are then this game has the worst match making system around. Game is definitely designed to make you think spending is the way to go. Apr 16, 2020 By 9183746272Matches players who are very unequal. Totes rewards for leveling up but each loss knocks you down, so it’s a never ending climb and you are set up for failure. Even if you constantly win due to skill, you WILL be matched with an unbeatable match just to reset your points. I even surrendered enough to go for 2500 down to 1000 and ended up with players just as strong as me, they either did the same or paid to play. Really proves the pointlessness of it. Deleted. Don’t waste your time. Fun for a day or two, that’s it. more

I am usually very picky with battling games, example is I just delete it after one play. But this is different. I just love it! It is a mix of my two favorite battling games, Clash Royale, and Mighty Battles. Those were my favorites, until now. This, by far, beats all. The wait is over! I cannot explain how much I love it! The “ play against other players “ is a big lie, only for fools to believe. So, download the game,enjoy it for a couple of days and that’s it, just delete it and move on cuz it will become boring and stressful. more -

I personally never saw a game battle concept like this and now I am almost 6 months old in this game and loving it . No glitches no lags. Awesome gameplay . If sometimes chests glitches but the rewards are added automatically to account in background so that is not a problem. Just u don't see animation of chest opening but receive the rewards in it. It happens sometimes but I am ok with it. Everything other than that is perfect . more -

I also like the graphics, design and controls. It's simple yet gives variety and quite a challenge. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a challenge while having a fun time. 😀 more -

Keeps giving me poor connection error when I was using a Hotspot so I switched to my own mob data to play this. I like that you have variety of cards to choose from. Still figuring out each one of them to improve my gameplay. Hope they add more different modes such as where players have equal cards to work with and it will all comes who have a better strategy. more -

They shouldn’t let the money climb over 100$ in my opinion more

To make it even worse if lose 2/3 matches in a row this game will match u with a bot player who you can easily beat which moves you back up to face the real players that u have no chance of beating. It’s a never ending cycle. I personally know people who been playing for over 2 years including myself and have never broke the 6200 level. So that means each month U have to try and beat there level 8 and 9 units. In fact my clan has been one of the top clans in the game and not 1 person has made 6200. So enjoy it while you can but realize no matter how much money u spend you will be stuck and never advance. more -

May 28, 2018 By BigMenaceI love it but some cards seem very over powered, cards that stun troops have a long effect, and gameplay seems a little bit too unbalenced as you can get a bunch of cards that aren’t relevant to situational use. Maybe letting the player pick there starting hand and the rest be random could help out. Also some cards aren’t effective enough and support cards have to huge a radius on the field, things like missiles and bombing runs make sense but a stun field that lasts 11 seconds is very OVERPOWERED, and troops that stun after every hit repeatedly is very OVERPOWERED as well. Its overall still a good game, but there could be a few improvements more -

Like how I used EMP soldiers to stun a tank. But he puts Old fighting mechs to smash my EMP troops to stun them. Clearly in the replay it didn’t smash my troops nor my EMP- Soldiers. Then after this encounter I found another thing that didn’t happen. A EMP Soldier went for the mortar which didn’t happen. Then the 2nd EMP soldiers came 3 seconds before the EMP soldier destroyed the mortar. Please fix this and make it so u actually record it. more -

Sometimes one gets the needed cards & sometimes the game just gives the same not yet needed cards consecutively until those are finished & then we get the cards that we want but it gets too late now as the opponent has overpowered you & it just gets better to surrender. Cool Game so far

Only reason for the 4 star review so far is the time to open boxes. I can fill my box limit in a few minutes but takes hours to open even the most basic boxes. Lower the base boxes to at the most an hour and a 5 star review is what you get. more

Mar 11, 2018 By Ivfyftyx66hxd18This is a game that I’ve enjoyed playing and does take strategy to win. But it feels like the developers hadn’t play tested this game at all. There are many cards which are beyond busted. The medkit heals so fast it makes your units virtually unkillable, a stunning shock lasts for 12 seconds and has ridiculous range... really every support card except that missile is too good. Because there’s so many busted cards, it makes the game snowball very fast and the first engagement critical. If you lose the first battle then your opponent snowballs and you lose otherwise vice versa. If you play against someone who moderately knows what they’re doing and they draw more support cards in their first ten cards than you do there’s no way to win. I’ve only had two back and forth games the 3 weeks I’ve played, everything else was a landslide victory one way or the other. The game is a blast to play so I give it 3 Stars but holy hell please balance this game. more -

The problem I have with it is that there are too many bombs to use and when you get a large number on the field the enemy just uses bomb after bomb and makes you waste all of your characters. The 2v2 real time match is a fun feature. Wish games like this had some other monetizing model. I can only play like 25 minutes a day without spending gems ($$) or waiting several hours to unlock chests. Guess thats a good thing so us nerds dont play too long but it will be the death of the game. more -
Unable to join clans!

I am unable to join clans my friends have made because it says they don’t exist. I’ve used the clan name as well as their Id number with same results. Can’t find any of the other players I’ve battled with as well. Kinda off putting. Fun for a quick play but wanting to use the clan perks and being unable is a real drawback :( 5 stars instantly if these get fixed! more -

But I've notice in the battle mode, how it comes you were able to fight againts the powerful enemy randomly! It's not fair. I know mostly of us are the same scenario that we've been encountering. Please! Fix the battle mode. Let us fight according to the fair strength if it is randomly. Were not satisfied for that. Hope you understand us developer. more -

However, after the past couple days I’ve noticed that the connection issues when playing against international players has been rather frustrating. There has been a few instances already, and one of which where I placed down a card, but due to the connection issue it didn’t register and I lost the match because of it. Perhaps I was just having random bad luck but after reaching 1000+, I noticed rivals abilities were substantially overpowering and spawning at what seemed an unrealistic rate. Not sure if there was a special power for that but it’s not fun when you’re trying to get one unit to spawn while the opponent is consistently dropping 3 or 4 units at a time throughout the round. Other than server issues I think the game is great visually so kudos to the artists. more

Edit: The ads we can watch to speed up opening our chests only works half the time. I'm tired of watching these ads and not getting my speed-up. I'll give more stars when I see updates/improvements. Someone else mentioned in his review that people will spam bombs constantly, I've noticed this as well. It takes strategy out of the game and makes it less fun. more -

Being able to spawn units in front of the enemy base is weird, it would be better if they had travel time to allow enemies to comeback, or limit the range to half of the map. Forcing pvp so early in the game is also not a great idea. more -

However, the skill and the creativity of the player mean nothing if you don't have enough cards and even more important if you don't level up the cards. A win in Silver 1 gives you 15 gold. A level up of a single card from level 5 to level 6 is freaking 8000 gold. That means that for a single card level up I need 500 wins. That's an absurd. The rewards are waaaay too small. There's no point in playing with this miserable rewards. more -

I tried joining a clan and it wnt let me, it says none available to join. I tried creating a clan and it just keeps saying "system busy" everytime I click 'create'. Disappointed that they literally ripped off of another game

I’m not going to jump to conclusions, maybe they have license or permission. However, I am disappointed in lack of originality It is very similar to Clash Royale, where cards are dispensed to you throughout the battle and the cards are random. This game also has chests with random loot that can only be opened after some time. There wasn’t really a proper tutorial and I was pretty confused on what were good units and what unit is good for what job. Games can snowball pretty hard and if you don’t start out with [overpowered card] in your hand then you lose 5/10 meh more

You'll end up being a new player with the basics as well as your teammate and your opponents are the complete opposite who can pretty much wipe out your whole army with like 2 units. and once your initial push has been destroyed, you might as well surrender or close the application, or possibly just uninstall. I saw the game posted as an advertisement and thought it looked cool, played it for one minute and it hasn't grasped my attention since. more -

Not only that, a lot of troops are very poorly balanced and some guys have the most insane decks with high leveled units. The UI in-game is not appealing, either. It’s slow and laggy at times and going through multiple pages just to look for one troop is ridiculous. You guys could update and do better than that. The devs seem to not really care about the game either, they just put it out and sheep are falling for it and giving them money like it’s nothing. The latest app update had ZERO description of anything, there is also no maintenance packages for players for their nonsense. The devs of this game appear greedy and did not give much to new players to start out too. more -

Even the modes that balance the levels give the opponent all the high powered units while leaving you with mere commons. There is no way these are all real time battles and if they are then this game has the worst match making system around. Game is definitely designed to make you think spending is the way to go. Even if you constantly win due to skill, you WILL be matched with an unbeatable match just to reset your points. I even surrendered enough to go for 2500 down to 1000 and ended up with players just as strong as me, they either did the same or paid to play. Really proves the pointlessness of it. Deleted. Don’t waste your time. Fun for a day or two, that’s it. more -

Playing 1 vs 1 you have to wait FOREVER to find someone to play and 90% of the time it's vs someone WAY stronger than you. Being in a clan is complete waste of time nobody ever wants to help you or play with you. Game was fun for few days now VERY boring because I cant rank up and get better cards because I keep getting butt kicked and going backwards. Plus the campaign part is a freaking joke more
What’s Groovy
So people will claim this is a Clash clone but it’s not. The strategy here is very different. It’s like a Clash type game mixed with a side scroller, mixed with chess. Not to mention the character classes are very different than Clash. I love this. I’m already hooked. Give this game a try. I’m sure P2P players will ruin it like clash, but for now this is a F2P player’s dream. So fun.
One minor criticism-level matching needs to be better in PvP, but if your strategy is good, then it hasn’t mattered much in my perspective. I’ve been beating guys at much higher levels than me. It just took some thinking. But I’m not going to lower my rating for that. It’s new, and will be improved, I’m sure.

What’s Subpar
For the past week the game has been freezing and then kicking me off each day. And I have cleared the data and the cache. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. And I have checked for an update. Furthermore, out of all of the games that I play, it's the only one that's doing this. I've had issues in the past with the unfair match making and the near impossibly to upgrade cards just as others have. But this current issue even worse than those because, when I start a battle, it freezes, & I lose!
