I downloaded the app after having a panic attack when my refurbished out of warranty iPhone 4s wouldn't charge although registering that it was connected to a valid charging device. I opted to replace the battery as well as my 30pin cord since the in home charging was the source of the failure. The tech advised that overcharging can kill my battery so I downloaded this app because of the alarm feature. I have the free version currently, because I wanted to make sure it would do what I needed in a way I could understand. My only complaint is that my phone seems to indicate full charge for several minutes before the alarm sounds. I'm not sure if I need to turn down the slider or if my preloaded battery indicator isn't calibrated properly. Will continue to monitor. So far so good

It's okay. I use it for the added features rather than it's monitoring ability, which seems to be off by 50% (@93%, system says I have 10 hours and 7 min, the app says I have 21 hours and 37 minutes, even after calibration.) But the widget looks nice and I like the visual and audible alerts that announce the different battery levels. Just discount the monitoring estimates by 50%.

This is the one to get. It actually runs video and checks websites like Google for an hour or something just ask what your battery can do. Then it’s able to accurately predict how long your battery can do those activities in the future. For example, my phone is at 50% and after the test, it shows that I can do GPS for an hour and a half if I weren’t plugged in. That’s the kind of stuff I need to know. Here’s a nice bonus. It will give you an alarm for Max percentage and charging, and minimum percentage when unplugged. You can sit more than one alarm I have mine set for 80 and 85% with a charging, and 40 and 45%. Some of the other apps charge if you want to sit in the AC minimum alarm. So, this app is better and also most important features are free. You can still pay for Pro, which is a good idea because the developer is obviously great.

Im the tech for my entire family of 6 and my neighbors. This app is perfect for keeping batteries healthy. Just install, calibrate device right away (worth the wait), then set alerts for below 40% and above 75%. This can save you from having your phone shut off while you are out and about. One more tip: set your widget to show temperature. Temps going below 50F shorten the run time of phone batteries exponentially, and temps above 80F will kill the capacity even faster. Going out in the summer keep your device out of the sun and never leave in car. In winter keep it closest to your body heat as possible (inner coat pocket etc) unless using in your hand or charging. Charging generates heat so the battery will keep itself warm while its charging. But if its 95F+ or Below 0F you really have to be careful. Sometimes you just have to leave it home or you risk killing it.

I just transferred back to iPhone about six months ago after several years with windows phone. I had gotten really spoiled with the live tiles, and was delighted to discover that iPhone now has widgets. I decided about a month ago that I wanted a battery widget because I missed my live tile so much. So I downloaded a few, picked the nicest looking, and paid for the upgrade. Not only did it not work as advertised, but I never got a response from the developers! So a couple of days ago I gave up and downloaded every single widget battery app. And this one is perfect. It gives a rough estimate of how much life is left based on usage, the colors are beautiful, AND it’s free. Granted, I’m about to go and see if there’s a “tip” option because I have no issues paying a dollar or two for a well done app. Thank you for quality!!!

It’s obvious the developers have put a LOT of work into this app. It is very stylish and seems very functional. That being said, I would suggest that for us more technical types, after “calibrating” the phone they should include an updated measure of the battery’s remaining useful life. Specifically, I would like to see it report the milliamperes-hours (mAh) capacity remaining in the battery when at full charge and as compared to what a new battery has. That would make it pretty much the most outstanding killer iPhone battery app out there.
  • Charge level alert does not work Sep 18, 2019

    By diver864
My sole need from this app was an alarm that notifies when battery charges up to 80%, and when it discharges to 20%. Part of battery-life preservation routine. It has those settings, however I think it has successfully done it only once. To make sure I was not just missing short notifications, I sat right here with it and watched it charge to go from 74% to 96% without any notification. Perhaps the other functions are helpful to others, so I'm not giving 1 star, but it does not work for my need. Also, when I went to look for a link for feedback/help in the app itself, I could not find one. A shame.

Eats too much ram! Right now the app is using 578MB, 8 processes, and 2 services in the background. I'm not even using the widgets 🙄 meanwhile AccuBattery is using 37MB, and BatteryGuru just 13MB. I like some of the features but I can't afford to lose 0.5GB of ram 👎 *edit* actually the app uses 2 processes using around 140 - 200MB, the others are play services and text to speech engine. still don't understand why it needs so many Google processes 🤔 *edit* my problem is described above!! 🙄
  • Calibration went on and on and on and on Dec 23, 2020

    By rpins
I don’t know what it was doing to my phone during the 2 1/2 hours of calibration, which was originally estimated to take 1 1/2 hours. But it seemed that every half hour point after that first 1 1/2 hours, it would tell me 29 minutes left. It would reach that goal, then give me another 29 minutes. The last hour was this horrid techno musical 10 to 15 second loop that went on and on for 45 minutes itself. I couldn’t handle it anymore, deleted the horrible app. Save your ears.
  • It did not work for me Mar 13, 2021

All readings are hilarious. It shows me I have used close to four hours of book reading and a lot of internet usage over data. I don’t read books on small screens and there is no data SIM in this phone! It also showed other hilarious facts, like I supposedly used the flashlight a lot. This app is actually a party trick. It’s only something you can show to your drinking friends. Definitely not something to rely on.
  • Too much “improvement” Jun 23, 2020

This was a great app before it was wrecked by a recent update. Now, the charge pauses before the battery is full. This is incredibly annoying to the point that I’m looking for a better app.. Just like millions of other people I plug my phone in to charge before I go to bed thinking I’ll have a fully charged phone when I wake up. NOT ANYMORE! I would like an explanation as to what the thought process was that led to wrecking a once great app.
  • Works fairly well Jun 16, 2020

    By markkor
It shows charge rate and discharge rate graph pretty well but the rest isn't great. The alerts for “100% charged” have never come when my phone was close to 100% charged. I just got that notification again now when my battery was actually only 75% charged. It usually gives me the notification at about 85%. It’s frustrating to say the least.
  • Has potential, but also has problems Oct 26, 2018

    By Danielntlions
The UI is... okay, and reminds me of app UI when the App Store first began. However, more egregiously, the battery level notifications are off, even after calibration. While charging, I just got a notification that my iP XS Max battery was now at 100%. Yet, the level indicator says 89%. That’s a massive margin of error, and prevents me from suggesting this app to others.
  • Can’t properly alert percentage Jun 13, 2020

    By Tinuviel-Undomiel
I want to make sure I’m not constantly leaving my fully charged phone on its charger. This app is supposed to alert me when it gets to 100%. It does, but it can’t seem to figure out when it’s actually at 100%. I get messages that it’s at 100% when it’s at 70%. I’ll be holding it in my hand, not on the charger when it pings “Your batter is charged to 100%” I can see for myself it’s not. This needs to be fixed.
  • Does not work Nov 4, 2018

This app definitely does not work. Setting configuration is a awesome but when it comes to execution it fails miserably. I tried 3 different phones 6s, 8+, iPad Pro all iOS 12 nothing. So many bugs from constantly not working 85 % of the time to constant alarms even after plugging and unplugged. Just awful. I even gave to pro a try nothing was different. Good thing I got my refund thanks Apple ✌🏽

You can adjust setting to conserve the life of the phone and battery. I absolutely love it my new iPhone 12 Pro Max battery last about 1/3 longer just on the setting adjustments. Try it you’ll be surprised⚡️🔋📲 ⚡️

Give indicator of what’s going on with the battery. Helpful to figure out whether th device is charging when you are having power cord and charger. Only complaint is that battery picture on the display sometimes is not always showing, but some of the other screen show when all I care about. Then Ihave to close app and reopentodhow battery picture. I don’t care to see the other dianostic screen. Maybe have a setting in preferences so that user can lock app to only show the battery picture to make things simple for users. Still I use this app daily on all my devices.

    By Neilax
The battery life estimates appear to be total guesses, but at least the new version has many nice new features like a chart of battery usage that tells me the battery’s charge level over the course of a day. I’m rating this new version of the app 4 stars, but I would have given the old version only 2 stars because it had very few features.
  • Good App Dec 25, 2017

This app does a very good job of letting you know how much charge you have left quickly and easily. It is very useful In showing you how much time is available for various uses of your iPhone. Ads are a bit annoying; however the banners are small and take up little space. If the “Pro” version does nothing more than remove ads, the $3.99 price seems a bit steep.
  • Great App! Aug 31, 2018

I’ve been using this app for quite a while now and it is very helpful. Although, I am giving this app 4-star because it still has some minor bugs that need to be fixed, such as too early reminders on battery percentage.
  • Never Quite Tops Off Dec 14, 2017

It’s a good app all in all, easy to read etc, but it’s been stuck at 98% charged for at least 20 minutes when it should have been at 100% in 4 minuets (roughly 16 minuets ago). This may seem nit picky, but that’s what I downloaded the app for.
  • It’s great for what it is Jun 3, 2018

The functionality of the features are as advertised, there’s not an abundance of annoying ads that cause interference with the user experience of the application. Made by a solo developer, and it does what it does well. What’s not to like?

  • Works Mostly as Advertised May 17, 2020

    By Bad|Timing
I am new to the iOS ecosystem so I'm not familiar with the limitations placed on battery applications but apparently they are pretty extreme - this app will only reliably provide a battery CHARGING notification if: 1. the app is in the foreground 2. the screen remains unlocked while the App is running (there's an option for this in the App) Given these two requirements I haven't bothered to try testing the DISCHARGING notification. Note that in my original review I couldn't get changes to the widget to show up. Turns out there's a bug that prevents the selection marks from showing in Dark Mode (which is my default). Once I turned off Dark Mode I was able to select the items I wanted to see on the widget. The developer has promised to fix this issue in a future update. There are other things about the application that I think could be improved which account for just a 3 star rating.
  • Pro version still has ads. Jun 12, 2021

    By CheetahsDad
I bought Pro Version to get away from the insane amount of ads in the free version. but no - the “ad-free” version isn’t! They still put up banner ads for stuff like bras and panties on bottom of screen. I really don’t want that! Why do they think that someone looking at phone battery parameters would suddenly want to buy a bra? I also wanted and expected details like charging current info so I can test for bad/fake/marginal wwllplugs, cables, and 12V adapters. Maybe it’s here but I can’t find it.

The UI is... okay, and reminds me of app UI when the App Store first began. However, more egregiously, the battery level notifications are off, even after calibration. While charging, I just got a notification that my iP XS Max battery was now at 100%. Yet, the level indicator says 89%. That’s a massive margin of error, and prevents me from suggesting this app to others.
  • Watch face stat doesn’t update May 13, 2020

    By Zi-Cott
Love the potential of the app, but the basic battery level on the watch face doesn’t update. Stats indicated 90% but going into app the level is updates to 73%, but when I go back out to the watch face, it still indicates 90%. I am using it on Series 2 Apple Watch. Please fix. Will give you 1 star back.

I downloaded this app for my iPad to inform me that once my battery is fully charged it'll make a sound or voice. My percentage is at 72% and it alerted me that it was charged. Please may you fix the problem? I just want an app for my iPad that lets me know my battery is fully charged so I won't over charge.
  • Battery level notification are way off Jan 6, 2020

    By TH3PERFECTON3
I like to keep my battery at 40- 80% The alert option sends notification at wrong actual% for example I get notification that my phone is charged 80% while its only 65% and still charging.
  • very basic, too commercialized Apr 14, 2019

very basic app, just shows percentage left and if charging or not. Has other features for disk usage but not useful either. Too many commercials, have to wait 5 seconds for them to finish

    By JackspotMocho
This app definitely does not work. Setting configuration is a awesome but when it comes to execution it fails miserably. I tried 3 different phones 6s, 8+, iPad Pro all iOS 12 nothing. So many bugs from constantly not working 85 % of the time to constant alarms even after plugging and unplugged. Just awful. I even gave to pro a try nothing was different. Good thing I got my refund thanks Apple ✌🏽
  • Not reliable. Nov 13, 2020

    By Borat625283
Got this for the Apple Watch SE because the stock battery app doesn’t have different color options. Doesn’t work almost half the time as a complication. When I look down to check the battery life all I see is an empty circle and a “-1...” in the middle. Not sure what to do to fix this?? Also the apps logo is trash. Looks like a logo from when the App Store first launched.
  • Wrong measurement Sep 28, 2020

    By ugxhnctkbxd
It can’t measure the level even being on the top of the screen on the full-on display during the charging. It’s “measured” value on the iPhone 3 months old is +10, 15, 20, 25 to the current real level. It shows the big battery icon with the right level equal to the system level, but I get 75, 80, 85 notifications at 72, 73, 74 levels. Why?
  • Basic info app Sep 26, 2020

    By StrangeDragonian
No calibrations or tests or any advanced info present. Except for a nice image of a battery - nothing really useful. Same info is given by other apps and more. I tried most of the top apps for battery info, and the few that actually works are unfortunately are not free. I got Amperes battery check, and it’s the best in my opinion.
  • Real bad 😡 Oct 26, 2019

    By MilesPrower7579 YT
First of all I thought it was gonna charge my iPad but instead it does nothing. I thought it would just bring up the percentage from 10% to 60% or higher. This was a waste of time. Plus, I downloaded this app because my charger broke but this?! I am rating this a 1 ⭐️ whether you like it or not.
