There are definite challenges in this app. I don't get alerts in a very timely manner at all, so my response is late, which could be deadly. There is a constant issue with content monitoring due to a constant new update, which you can't do through play store and auto update. The cost is high for the value I receive, however I can say I have been shown very valuable information about what's going on in my kids life. It feels more like a tattle tale app though vs an intervention tool.

If I ever finish getting it set up and get it to actually work right it will be amazing but that takes 90 million different steps over God knows how many days! And to do and we had to get the phone away from our kids somehow! Yeah right!

I absolutely love everything about this app!! It's very easy to navigate and the customer service is exceptional, with fast response times and genuine people that go above and beyond to make sure your satisfied with their services! Bark is like a "device (whatever your child uses to access the internet and keep in touch with the outside world) supernanny"!!! Now I don't have to constantly hover over my daughter while she's online because I know that Bark will alert me if there is a concern.

Installed this App on our 11 yr olds phone and am so impressed by it. I have peace of mind knowing that I can monitor everything my child is texting, viewing and searching. Very easy to use and we used a referral and was given a discount, but would've paid full price for the App. Now more than ever parents need every tool available to keep their children safe from the more negative spaces of technology.

This is the best app for parents! I have only had it for 24 hours and it has already been so helpful. It helps my kids to make good choices on their own but if they don't they know that I will be alerted. I have spent countless hours looking through my kids phone....that is so exhausting! This app does it all! I'm so thankful to have found Bark. It is worth EVERY penny!! Thank you!!!❤

would prefer to monitor my child's activities undetected - or for app to give the full conversation when being alerted. Getting one snippet of a conversation can lead to out of context issues.

I think it doesn't work more than it works. There are constant updates, which requires you to go on your kid's phone to do. Plus, you never know when it stops monitoring, until you go in to the app to check. There is a "Device Protection Changed" alert, but I get that multiple times a day, even when it's monitoring. Its near impossible to run along with Family Link. The amount of money it cost does not match how difficult it is to work correctly.

Very low quality app. Says it "doesn't check posts or messages" yet still alerts at the most sarcastic things and conversationsthat aren't even dangerous in DMs, comments, etc. Stalks phone constantly and is very privacy invading. Only saved me once and that's it. Do not recommend.

Other apps can I used allowed me to put the device on my daughter's phone without her willingly giving me her gmail passcode, it's almost like they do not understand that teens are rebellious and they won't willingly give up this information, they don't want to be restricted because they don't understand the dangers of the internet! therefore I find bark very useless

I love what Bark is doing to help parents protect kids. Even though I had challenges with the platform, I am very impressed with the customer service, and want to commend Tahnee in customer service for being so helpful and kind. That makes me love the company even more!

My husband and I love that we can check on our kids quickly and easily without having to skim through hundreds of emails, texts and videos. I feel it is less invasive than skimming everything they write. I also like that I can easily set times when the internet is off so I know they aren't sneaking in extra screen time. We are still trying to figure out how to set it up so it monitors their internet searches, but that is user error, not the app's.

The monitoring is highly useful. Love it. But I'm reviewing the app. It feels unfinished. My taps go unrecognized. It hangs a lot. The Bark subscription is wonderful but the app needs work.

Just recently started it and very aggrivating and confusing to set up. Our address and addresses of places are not shown as the correct addresses so during "check ins" that will pose a big problem! Will probually be cancelling

This is the most confusing and difficult app Ive had the displeasure of trying. It didn't block any porn sites. You have to dl the childs app thru google chrome and that gives you a warning notice. We dl it anyways and then it kept stopping and we had to re-open. Spent all morning trying to figure it out until we said screw this and cancelled our account.

I downloaded this app after finding some stuff on my 14 yo's phone. I signed up for the 1 week trial. Y'all are alerting me for every little thing. I have relaxed the settings as far as it will go and I just got a "Severe Profanity, Suicidial, Depression" alert bc he texted his friend "lmao, I'm dead 😂". I thought y'all had real trained professionals review flagged content before sending it to me. I'm gonna delete app, wastes my time. I'm getting 30ish alerts a day for innocent content.
