    This app doesn’t fLip around which makes it very annoying. It’s a basic requisite to all apps. Why have you not done it in all these years? Thank you.

    After reading all the reviews I was skeptical about getting the app, but I tried it anyway and I am satisfied with it. I visited four cities in Colombia and used the app with all my checking-ins. The only problem was adding the tickets to my wallet. Still getting the tickets at the airport was fast. Also their services have improved greatly. I do recommend Avianca. Good fares.

    Excelente customer service. My experience with Avianca is always great! I can read many bad reviews complaint about the app it doesn’t matter. For me I cannot find a better airline to fly to Colombia! And the app works. No problem at all.

    You would think that Avianca could put an app together that would let you buy a ticket. Unfortunately it glitches out right in the middle of booking your ticket or simply waits until you put all your info in, including cc info then it doesn’t accept your card and locks you out from trying to put in a new card etc I have spent hours on this “worthless” app trying to book 2 tickets and always wind up having to go through a third party booking service to buy my tickets. Avianca- if I were on your board of directors, I would immediately fire your web development people and get someone who knows how to put together an app that works. I would imagine you have lost millions of dollars of revenue because of the frustration of dealing with your web site. Feel free to check out Delta, United etc if you want to see what a real app looks like that allows you to buy a ticket. Hope my disappointment was apparent!!

    Just got home from a trip to South America. Booked air with Avianca airline because of the times of the flights. Before we leave they changed flight times 3 times. The last change was 1 1/2 hrs earlier. I called to complain but was told no other available time. Then got to gate and they didn’t even have us recorded! Wanted us to switch and have a 6 hour layover before we leave. On the return home when we arrived at our stop over we went to get lunch. We had from 1130am til 210 pm. Just happened to look at screen and it was changed to 1235. Never got notifications or this change. We could have missed our flight instead we missed our lunch. Very unprofessional and very rude. I will not be dealing with this sort of airline again when there are lots of others to go to beware of this practice they do to you.

    Here are my comments: 1) Poor personalization. It is not possible to save my personal information (lifemiles number, Emergency contact, personal details) to the app. LAN does A better job in offering this possibility 2) check in is time consuming. Because it is not possible to save personal information the check in process is very time consuming. LAN application auto fills all CHECK IN forms which makes it much more convenient. 3) Poor notification. My flight was canceled today and I was not informed. Given that I was checking in I would have expected some form of notification. 4) inefficient flight status search. Although I am check in the flight status question does not list my flight. I would expect an intelligent app that recognizes my flights and provides me status updates. Conclusion: LAN, lufthansa and Delta do much better jobs with their apps. The avianca app is inefficient and inconvenient. I kindly ask for improvement. Thanks

    And no I'm not exaggerating. I travel with multiple airlines, and therefore have a couple of apps downloaded in order to make my life easier. However, Avianca has been the worst. Doesn't let me check in and says "there's a problem with your flight please call customer service" which immediately makes me think the worst (cancellation, etc). Calling customer service is a joke too though so there's that. Won't let me check flight status. Basically won't allow me to do anything I could possibly need it for. Not to mention the airline itself is a constant delay.

    The app is about 5 years behind US carriers' apps. Functionality very limited and lacking in technology. To check-in I was directed outside the app to a browser. When I first attempted to check "Ticket Status," what exactly that means from a customer standpoint I don't know, it couldn't find my reservation. I tried again using all caps and that did the trick. But seriously, why? And if it only accepts capital letters, why wouldn't the app be programmed to convert all letters to capital letters? So stupid.

    I tried the app today and all the stages in the Bogota airport worked just fine with the boarding pass in my iOS Passbook! The print option saves the boarding pass into my passbook app!

    Compared to other airline apps, this is one is pathetically rudimentary. Examples: If you don't belong to their FF club, it won't remember your reservations, you have to enter the reservation # every time you open the Ticket Status tab. Also the VIP club tab has no information whatsoever about locations., only about their services , who cares ?( by the way not every VIP club has the same services)
