AutoRap by Smule: Rap to Beats

I only put five stars so this review would get seen by more people. So when you first download the game do you think oh this is gonna be fun and then you’re going to the game and I asked for your email. but for me I don’t have an email so I can’t even get into the app. I didn’t see a closed button for that but I did see a back button and it just brought me to the first screen that was ever on the game. Please put it so there’s an option to not use your email because I really wanna play this game but I don’t have one it would be really awesome if you added that option. Just my opinion so you don’t actually have to do it I just think it would be kind of cool because some of us don’t have emails. if you are one of the readers who read reviews thank you for reading this one I hope yours gave you an opinion to help whether you really want to download this game or not

I work with children who use communication devices and who are struggling beginning writers. When students complete a short writing project such as a list poem, we celebrate their writing by reading what they wrote into AutoRap. It is a total success! The next time we write they work even harder because they know they will get to rap their poem Parents and teachers also love it. And we can even send home an audio file. Thanks Autorap for encouraging a generation of writers!

Hilarious! Got to love it especially when you're as offbeat as a drunk and a wine tasting competition just kidding. Seriously though this is awesome fun

I have been playing this game for around 4 years. I am pretty dedicated to it. I have paid for lots of 1 month VIP because this game is so enjoyable. Don’t listen to to the bad reviews. Those people are complaining because they either don’t know how to use the app or they just want free content. I have made over 500 raps using the app and they are catchy and fun to listen to. Very great app and every moment has been awesome!!

This app is great! The auto tune is spot on and the mixing makes your voice go well to the music, until you try to pick more music choices. There are only 3 FREE songs!!?😡 The weekly payment is so over done. No one likes this app anymore because it turned into trash!!! Make more songs free please!!!!!! For the future Smule

I absolutely love this app, it’s a super cool concept. But to get right down to it, here are a few recommended changes to make it even better. The auto rap feature should auto adjust the song length based on the length of time of my “rap”, and not just a fixed amount of time. If a longer song just add more loops. Either that or allow me to adjust the song time length. I had this rap of about 53 seconds, but half of it got cut off when I submitted it. Also, you need to add other editing features for auto rap. I want to be able to edit what I want my chorus to be and not just have it auto chosen. Also, the beginning of the video is glitchy for auto rap, it shows me just inaudibly mouthing words.

I've used a few of Smule's apps and the song always has sounded like the song they give you as your free starter song. Even the piano one with my extremely subpar playing you could tell what it was but this app it sounded like just some weird back beat not the song at all. It also doesn't provide lyrics like their song app, so it's pretty useless for rapping popular music unless you know it by heart and don't need the matching music. But if you are getting this to create your own raps it may work a lot better for you.

The result song you can listen to straight after Auto Rapping is different from the one which gets uploaded to your profile. More specifically: Word placement gets completely changed, the super autotuned sections between "verses" are no longer present, which creates big silent spaces of just pure music without words. Essentially, the song you choose to upload is not the same as what will actually be uploaded. The only thing that stays the same is the track itself.

Thanks for giving us the option to send in songs, but can you please let us do that with our phones. I tried doing it on my computer, but it took a lot of work and your website kept saying something went wrong and try again. It’d literally be so much easier just to send in an audio file from my phone into the app or website. Can you also give us the option to search for songs? It’s hard to find a specific song when you can’t search. Even just alphabetic order would be helpful.
