  • Uniquely balanced gameplay. I love it! Oct 8, 2020

    By MReadtoo
Atlas Empires seamlessly combines the engagement and adventure of an augmented reality location based game with some good old fashioned base building and smashing. You travel around the physical world collecting resources, finding loot, and raiding your neighbor’s bases. Then you use those resources to build your own base, defenses, and troops. What I love about it though is you don’t HAVE to go walking around to be engaged with it though! From the comfort of your own couch you can gather basic resources from your base, you can scout and raid other bases, or just chat with the other members of your Empire. This game has something for everyone. You get to explore around the physical world looking for loot and resources, you can level up your base and customize your army, you can dominate other players by putting your best army versus their best defenses, and you band together with other players to build your empire and compete on the global leaderboards. Atlas Empires is truly unique! It’s also under active development, so their support staff are highly responsive and receptive to feedback. New features and events are coming and I’m really excited to see what comes next!

This game is an excellent game with frequent updates. I am one of the top 50-100 players in the game and previously was rank 11 at my peak. The game has one of the best, most supportive developer and backend teams of any game I've played, and I seriously appreciate their support as they work through bugs and otherwise. The game isn't perfect, but it's damn close and I think it will reach perfection before long due only to the commitment of the team behind the scenes.

  • Fun game but feels like an early access on steam on pc Oct 14, 2020

Like everyone says, it is a mix of Pokémon Go and Clash of Clans. You have to farm things in the map to get new offensive troops and any MUCH needed items. There’s a weird balance to attacking 5+ bases to get substantial loot and then getting one 50% defense and losing basically everything you farmed. The worst thing about this game so far, to me, is that donating offense cards that I have farmed on the map to this eagle building at my base will give me eagle tokens, an in game currency that I think is only used for player-dropped outposts which give chests and rewards, and after clicking hundreds of times.... the game is supposed to offer 50% more tokens for viewing an ad. It does offer it and both times over donated now it has said “ad not ready” and I missed out on the 50% extra tokens for outposts. All in all, fun game but still has some toughness around the edges. This is to be expected with any game that has just dropped. Can’t wait for things to be fixed and updated for user friendliness like entering how many cards you want to donate for tokens.

I've been having fun playing. Doesn't need a ton of focus but also gives you something to do one a work break. I tried to log in earlier though and it keeps saying "uh oh API responded with a successful false and error type UnknownException" and I tried restarting my phone and it stills says it. Not sure why it isn't letting me log in.

My friends and I have tons of fun with this game. Our Empire is #11 on the Leaderboard and I personally made top 200. I know it’s a brand new game, but I hope we can have more use for our Empire later on. I’m looking forward teaming up with my Empire members to attack others. Or help defend one another if one of us get attacked by multiple players. It would be awesome to have a response window when being attacked. Defensive spells could be used or help from team members. Like for example we should be able to build an embassy in our base which could be manned by helpful teammates. Resource exchange amongst Empire members sounds great too. 1 hammer for 50k wood. It would be great if we could combine forces to take down stronger, more advanced PvE or PvP enemies. Empire vs Empire would be pretty cool too. Realm chat room be nice also. We should be able to loot more than resources from others. Especially if we win a 3 star battle, we should be able to steal a Crystal Hammer or a Book of Training. Please make the second builder a one time purchase instead of the monthly fee. Hire me, I got tons of great ideas! lol Great job though and thank you for all the fun!!!

It's basically a remake with a map twist. While I like the twist and the original game I'm sick of games like this looking for subscriptions. Ten dollars a month, and you get to build two times faster. It just doesn't feel balanced for non pay to play individuals.

This game is a bad version of CoC builder base with some pokemon go aspects. There is a point where money will come into play in order to advance and progress which CoC and pokemon go seem to avoid. 5th level great hall already introduces items that are required for upgrades and YouTube vids suggest you will need A LOT of these throughout progression, which are very difficult to obtain via gameplay.

The game itself can be fun. As you level up though you need more and more hammers to upgrade everything which are virtually non existant on the map. Maybe because I live in the viuntry and only have a small town near me but they are virtually impossible to find...took a 10 mile road trip one day and got one...the game has become impossible at this level. The basic game is fun...but cant be played over time

Not ready for full play, still has many glitches items not where they appear to be, structures moved from Where you built them a day earlier. Base moved almost a mile away from where it was placed and another structure put in its place. No way to report issues in game also frustrating that I have to read bad reviews to see the email address to report issues slap that email address in the options window or some where in game.

I found this game on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I've played for a few weeks and really liked the game. Didn't find any location issues, and the game ran fairly smooth the whole time. The game teaches you how to play very well, so you get a good feel on how to progress through the tasks given and you get to walk to establishments and get rewards for the game. I love how they've incorporated other businesses into the game. 10/10 Great way to keep yourself active

  • Fun and stable for just launching Oct 7, 2020

Has a lot of potential but it appears there’s a lot of stuff they can still add too it. One mechanic or quality of life improvement I would like to see implemented to help people progress is a mechanic that lets you automatically gather chests at least as your driving around and maybe cap how many chest you can get like at 10 so you can open them open whenever you stop so you can get a burst of resources just by traveling to a destination. I think that would be a nice improvement to help progress instead of expecting everyone to continuously walk around. But the game is fun so far!

Im actually enjoying this game more than I thought I would. No forced ads, clean and crisp graphics, not too cluttered and seems to be developing well. Still room for improvement, nice to have option to stop screen from auto rotating. Good to have an indicator that you have successfully collected some map resources as they just disappear. The empires feature is broken, I can just see full empires, when I did get into one I was kicked. This game will keep me amused for a little while at least.

I enjoy the game but the resources gained are so poorly balanced. And I haven't found a hammer in 2 days. If there was a way to trade resources for different resources, they game would be less of a grind and more enjoyable. I have battled a dozen times in need of wood and can't win more than 5k but get 14k gold when I need 70k gold and 60k wood. Insane. (Edit) And at times Catakiller will shoot 6 or 7 spaces and other times not shoot over a wall.

More settings would be nice example I don't know where to go to report a bug. good game I would love to see at least one more builder or make it so I don't need a builder for the walls. Great game really glad you keep your troops that didn't die after a battle too 5 stars if my issue gets addressed properly. keep up the good work

Firstly, the issue right now is that for some reason the game made me restart from the beginning even though I was well on my way. You can’t launch a game like this and not check for problems like this. I’ve uninstalled it and I’m not sure if I’m deterred from continuing. When I tried to re enter my name, it even said that the name was taken. Also while exploring the open map, I noticed sometimes when logged in, you cannot spin or turn to collect other loot in the area. However, the gameplay is pretty smooth. All the mechanics seemed to work the way they are intended. I think with some patch updates, this would easily go up to a four or five star. Good luck everyone and know that I did enjoy most of my experience.

(Update)It's a decent game for sure. I think that the ability to hide the "base" and "empires, outposts etc buttons " Should be an option. Allot of times while collecting chests while a passenger it instead opens up those. Finally, I think that runes should be able to buy whatever cash can. $9.99 for builders pass is the equivalent of 1,200 runes. So if I save 1,200 runes why can't I buy the builders pass? Even if it was a version of builders pass without the gifted 50 runes a day I'd be happy!

Undecided on this, like the concept but I can't join an empire. I'm also not enjoying no control over troops once you send them in. I'll keep playing for a while and see how it goes. :edit: I can't join an empire because all the ones it lists for me are full. Search just comes back with none so I'm stuck with a small list of full empires.
