Shows most music. Doesn't display album art, so grabbing a playlist in the car is more difficult. I do not wish to be advertised to so I refuse to indicate music preferences which it asks every single time you open the app, even if it is already playing. This can't be switched off, according apple site. Probably deleting this and going back to an android work-around when trial period is over.

Switched to apple music from Spotify because I wanted to try lossless. It did had few issues 1. It sucks a lot at search. 2. Another issue was adding tracks to playlist was buggy and most of the time didn't work and I had to go to the playlist and check if it was actually added.it was a hit or miss a lot of times 3. The UI is amazing, usability could use a lot of work. I'll probably switch to Spotify once it gets hi-fi if apple music doesn't get better.

Works okay most of the time, content is good, interface is user-friendly and general functionality is good. But when it bombs out, you'll be at a loss. Sometimes you're playing a song and during the song it just stops playing for no apparent reason. Other times, after pausing a song or taking a call, it forgets what you were playing and everything that you had added to play next. Other times, the app just refuses to play anything at all. No playback. Restarting, clearing cache don't help.

This is actually a really nice app - when it's working. I thought it might be abandoned, since Apple isn't an Android-friendly company, but it's full-featured and up-to-date. The problem is that it works for a while, like a few weeks, and then gets into a state where it crashes whenever you open a playlist. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to work.

This last update makes it hard to enjoy the music. It's interesting because it's not song specific. Depending on the playlist, one song is loud, the next is quite, the next is loud, the next is quite, etc. Enjoying music when you have to change the volume each and every song is really impossible. I've never had a problem with apple music before, and I hope this can be resolved by the next update.

As sacrilegious as it may seem to be using an Apple service on an Android device, I can't really knock this one. It's one of the best music services I have ever used. The UX is sublime, clean and appealing UI, easy to navigate, operates pretty quickly, it's hard to find fault in this one. Not to mention, spatial audio AND lossless audio both at no extra charge? Highly recommend.

I don't know why but every once in a while iTunes stops working. I can see all my songs but it won't play after I select to play it. I tried deleting the app and installing again, clearing data and cache nothing. It does come back eventually and plays it but it's really annoying having random shut downs for no reason. Fix the issue please.

the songs constantly skips to a different song and I get errors such as content not authorized error code:20 and content not authorized error code:0 I pay a good amount of money every month to enjoy this music and instead I end up having this frustration. I clear the cache and even booted into safe mode. if this isn't fixed by the end of the month I intend to cancel and file a grievance for my money back. I'm not paying to listen to the first few seconds of every song.

Some of my songs removed themselves from my library completely after I downloaded them, but when I look them up, they'll show that they're downloaded. And in most cases, it'll give me the notice that "I'm signed in with too many apple IDs" when I'll literally only be signed in with one, and I had to sign out and sign in, causing ke to lose all my downloaded music. The notice kept showing after I did that by the way.

Some playlists are "misaligned," meaning that if i want to play a song, ill have to select 3 or 4 songs down the list for it to play the one i wanted. This only occurs in the lower half of my playlist which is very odd but most of all its extremely frustrating. Took me writing like 3 reviews and then playing around with it to figure out the exact issue. It is by miles one of the most patience chipping things ive experienced on this app, in spite of how seemingly small it is. SO. ANNOYING.

I had a hard time getting explicit tracks to appear by default on multiple Android phones. They should appear without me having to do anything but they just don't. I had to enable the content restrictions option and then enable allowing explicit content to access explicit tracks. You don't have to do this on iOS nor on Android in the past. Also, since we are now in the day and age of lossless and high resolution audio, it's high time this app adds support for bit perfect USB output.

    1. The app downloads parts of an album instead of the whole album, when I press the "Download Album" option. 2. It just cuts the music off whenever it wants to. 3. Some songs don't play until the end. They just hiccup towards the end. 4. Album covers don't load completely. 5. The poor performance of the app is affecting my phone's normal operation. This is just part of the bigger problem! Poor support from the team, really!

I don't understand how music I have downloaded will still be loading as if I haven't downloaded them before. And some downloaded songs keep showing me error when I try playing them. Adding songs to my library is a big problem, sometimes I try adding a song or download them it won't add even when It tells me it has been added. Some times the loading is too much even when I know my network is pretty good. Please try fix this.... I don't want to switch back to Spotify...

Only works well on iPhones, ever since I switched to Android it's been a crash fest. I have to use my old iPhone if I want to listen to music without it crashing. The need that create apple IDs in order to use multiples accounts, (family account) is crazy. Before the switch I would have given it 5 stars easy now I just want it to work.

I have sent numerous emails regarding the recent update to the Apple music app for Android. I really really hope you are seeing the comments on Google play! The recent update of 3.6.0 is a mess!! You can't add sounds to your library, songs that once played seamlessly no longer do and have a HUGE lag time between songs even when crossfade is on automatic, sometimes songs will have dead air in the middle of the song, it stops playing songs for no reason and on and on.

I'll have you know I just cancelled my subscription today. It's obvious this app isn't built for Android users. Despite having only 1 account it keeps telling me 'no music' and that I have signed in with too many apple IDs on my device. I love this app for a myriad of reasons but it seems Android users are not loved at all in return.

I usually don't write reviews, but after running into a major issue earlier today, I think its necessary. After re-downloading the app, thinking that would solve my issue, it didn't work. I logged into my account and it appears as if I didn't have a subscription, yet I do. I tried to manually select my student subscription but after the unidays verification, the app just goes blank and then nothing happens. I opened the app again and it's back to square one. Been using this app for almost 2 yrs

Very horrible on android. Library keeps disappearing. Sometimes downloading or adding to library is impossible. Can't update playlist. Sometimes doesn't connect to the internet even when a network is present. It's just really tiring when all you really want to do is just listen to good music.
