  • Best poker app out there May 26, 2018

    By Nik James
The app really does subscribe to the “less is more “philosophy. But that is definitely a good thing here. The purest poker experience, without the needless fluff. Perhaps it does not have as many players as other apps, but the competition here seems to be stronger and at times more aggressive. Definitely challenging and definitely worth a try.

Best free TH app...Dont listen to complainers...they give u tons of free chips, and who cares if the deals seem "fixed" i'm glad.......a game full of checks is boring...want to learn "real poker?" Get a poker group together in your neighborhood and quit complaining about losing "free" "fake money"....sometimes you're hot, sometimes not so much...much like a game of chance? Like poker? Great app. Plus, u can meet people from around the world. And a lot of them are nice and want to play

I would give 5 stars, but there is something that bothers me. On iPhone you can’t see the emojis other users send, and you can’t send emojis neither. Please fix!
  • Best poker app, bricked by ios14 Jan 27, 2021

NO LONGER WORKS ON LATEST iOS. By far the best, cleanest poker interface unspoiled by casino bells and whistles and other such garbage. Game is not rigged: it’s just no-money poker, so people take bigger risks, so you see more bad beats.

I'm rewriting my review on this site after playing a few months. The random number generator is terrible and not realistic. Almost every third hand is a flush or someone with a set. And since it's free and everyone knows this, the betting is nothing like real poker. You can't possibly learn to improve your game here. Horrible!!! Another edit. The developer will not answer questions at this Malta office. Maybe they are too busy counting money from suckers that buy chips. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Not a bad poker app Feb 14, 2018

If you want a poker app with no gimmicks and straight up play this is a great app. No goofy avatars or flashing lights. Just playing poker against real people. Does if feel rigged at times? Yes. Do I think it’s actually rigged? No. Don’t listen to the people who say they got Appeak’d. They probably just stink at poker. Although they did promise free chips for the online survey and didn’t actually give out any chips for filling it out.

  • Unrealistic hands Sep 10, 2019

    By Timmorton
I was pleased at first by how simple the design was and no ads. But it became very obvious that the cards aren’t as randomized as would be in real life. In two days I’ve seen a straight flush, 3x 4of a kind. The flop always has a pair in it or three suited. The hands are always dancing around a straight or a second pair. I’m dealt Ace’s and pocket pairs more than should be statistically normal. It seams like it’s juiced up, so I deleted it.

At a point I exchanged my poker chips for gold. I now am stuck with 28 gold more than 500 k poker chips. The gold is useless and cannot be re exchanged back to chips or cannot be used to play the game. In the least it ought to be clearly stated that exchanges are only from chips to gold.... And gold is useless. The game is good but some changes need to be made to make it better.

  • Terrific poker app Dec 13, 2016

    By showme1946
EDIT: Appeak Customer Service, once I had their attention, acted quickly to resolve my issue. I have restored my rating to 5 stars, because this poker app is by far the best available, and now I can say that the Customer Service matches the quality of the app. I'm completely satisfied. EDIT: I have had to reduce my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. On 11/28 I purchased chips on the App Stores. They have NOT been delivered and Appeak has NOT responded to TWO notifications. It's a good app but customer service is nonexistent. Appeak is by far the best poker app I've ever used. It's one of the best designed apps of any kind. Highly recommended

  • Great fast paced poker. But weird things happen.... Aug 20, 2014

    By Darren's review
The app is great on all fronts. Multiple tiers of tables based on how much you have. Tournaments for each tier, and also mutiple table tournaments (like the main event). The only thing i will say negative about Appeak poker is that i find it weird that the board hits players for two pair and higher 90% of the time. If it's coincidence then i'm a very unlucky person to see many crazy turnouts! Otherwise it's a very well made game. Definitely grab this one if you like poker.

Look, it’s a solid poker app. Best interface by FAR; it’s not the least bit cluttered.
  • Great Game Jul 25, 2015

This poker app is fun. There are not very many SNGs, but there are lots of cash games with bad players, and some good ones. There aren't very many people playing at a time (about 200). The one main problem is that there is a tab for Multi Table Tournaments, but there aren't any MTTs in them. I hope they add them back because those are really fun. Anyway, it's a good app, and the people that say it's rigged are people that go all-in every hand or don't understand that a pair doesn't always win. It also doesn't have commercials, like Pokerstars. You should get this

  • Exciting and Fun Dec 23, 2016

So far I've bought $3 worth of chips and had weeks of fun. Good community of players at all skill levels, from around the world. Suggestions - Make it easier to do half-pot and pot sized bets. Also move the + bet button away from the top of the bet slider - many times I've hit the slider accidently.

  • The more chips you buy the more they make you loose Jan 25, 2015

I feel like when I buy chips I loose more often so that I will buy more chips, and when I don't buy chips I win more often. Otherwise it's a great game to make time past by.

Worked great until other day. Despite updates on all of my iPads and various versions of iOS, this app just shuts down when opened. Fix it so apple users can actually keep enjoying it!

pretty good app. everything is pretty good except for time available to act, which is 10 seconds max. Their should be normal speed options in the lobby or a customizable option for tables involving blinds, buy ins, and speeds.

The gameplay was fine on the rare chance I connected. Better portrait customization would be nice.
  • Rigged. Stay away. Jul 7, 2015

    By JohnnyOT
I'll be shocked if this review even makes it. Best poker app in regards to layout and design. Algorithms are designed to let you win just enough to lose it all. It's a money machine. Don't pay a dime! 7/10 the flip is a pair and a third card. Predictable flops, and when you have a pair in hand, someone else always has a pair too. Unrealistic odds here. 4/10 times all four cards are on the table and in hands. You have pocket rocket, someone else probably does too. Simply designed to make you lose, but their chips and repeat process. Good luck and if you buy, shame on you.

Whenever I am feeling depressed, I read where it says the deals are completely random, then laugh my A off. I have lost way too many big hands when someone hits on the river. How can it be random when you have straight flush, quads and full house on the same hand? AA dealt? Don't slow play them. You are certain to lose.
