Jan 14, 2021 I like the game and all but the controls are horrible it will follow around your thumb if your thumbs on the screen and you're like moving it down then the controller will try to follow your thumb but that's not the only thing like that's annoying and old but another thing is is that what's following you around if you stop your thumb then you'll start to move up and if you're running downward to try to escape the aooni then it will catch youmore -

Jan 1, 2021 You see, I like the idea of putting bots, and then when real people are attracted you remove them. But you blatantly advertised it as online. You can just hide and win EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Why cant you just admit it and tell people to invite their friends over to this game?more -

Oct 19, 2020 This game was really entertaining, especially with it’s natural spooky Halloween vibe it gives off. But after the third or fourth game you realize every “person” is a bot. The game gives an illusion of a fake multiplayer match, with a fake loading screen with an ad on it, a fake player board screen, and fake people. I wouldn’t be upset if this game was marketed right, but lying to get people to play isn’t the best way to bring in business. On top of this, the digital joystick moves with your finger, making it hard to move different directions when running from the Oni. Please add a multiplayer mode, or at the very least, add a checkbox so I have to option to have a movable joystick or not.more -

Oct 15, 2020 I’ve played for a while now and it really isn’t online, they say it is but these people are literally bots, no way are they actual people, they run into the oni, wander around randomly and let out little quips here and there and the only reason I see myself loosing is if I get trapped in a crappy room where you can’t loop the oni. 🤷♂️more -
Oct 19, 2020 Everyone in this game is clearly a bot, they just walk around randomly, in my first round everyone got stuck in the corner, the monster walked into the corner and i instantly was the last one alive, the controls are trash. Whoever thought it was a good idea for the controls to move around wasn't thinking as you have to reposition your finger every second, and its easy to cheat the system, hide in a closet for the entire game and you will win effortlessly. Last thing the ads lag the game. 👎more -

In-App purchases on a game that is basically an entire lie is just yuck, especially when all of the AI already have the skins youre paying to even get a chance at winningmore

Oct 21, 2020 Sadly this is a fake online game, I'm a little disappointed but hey, it's still Ao Oni. It was quite obvious when I noticed the walk patterns and that everyone used there real cookie cutter names, no offense. I tested it out by turning all of my connections off mid-game and bada bing bada boom. I didn't disconnected because it was never online. I hope it does get real online one day, also the only thing that seems real is the leaderboard.more

Oct 13, 2020 Great idea, horrible execution. I sent an email out on why, but the shortened reason is that it has way too many ads, needs way too much space and data, and horrible controls. This game has many bots/AI no actual online is needed. I even went on airplane mode and turned off my wifi to test it and it still worked. Please fix this.more

What’s Groovy
I have seen HikakinGames play this game, but the Japanese version is so much better because there's limited time events and even a challenge stage if you beat the 100 player survival, plus an extra challenge stage when you beat the challenge stage. I want this game to be more like the Japanese version. So far it only includes the 100 player survival aspect, but over time, I think Ao Oni Online will evolve and achieve many great things in the future. Keep up the good work!

What’s Subpar
I like this game it's is my favorite game 1 star because this isn't a online game pls put multiplayer in the first thing I noticed that they keep walking back and forth they just keep singing stuff I got bored of the game I turned off when I was playing the game I went outside for a few minutes and came back in and I was going to play that game again but I was on the game it didn't take me back home because it's not real people playing please add multiplayer and thank you

I like this game
this games really fun and i was wondering if you could add more places or levels like a dark forest or a cave? thoes are my ideas -
I'm really enjoying the game, a few frustrations cause of the controls, I wish it was a joystick at the bottom left or right that didn't move and you can change the positions in settings the ads aren't that bad as everyone claims, if the devs make a control update it'll be a perfect game🤗

Well, I think that this is a really good game because of the Japanese version. The massive skins, the Oni Tower, the other exclussives... etc. And now the English version is currently 1.0.1, hope that this game can keep updating ASAP. Anyways, keep going!

Just because my phone is jailbroken the game just immediately assumes I’m going to cheat, it’s dumb considering no one cares enough about this game to write hacks for it. -
