Missing iWatch Availability
Mar 20, 2019 My goal is to leave the phone at home and solely use my Apple iWatch... i’m sure i’m not the only one so where’s the update that includes connectivity to iWatch instead of just the fitbit or garmin as well as an app version on the little ios device so i can log my workouts in without having to dig out my phone and fumble with it each time?more -
Sep 7, 2020 Happens too often where I cannot connect to workouts for half a day or sometimes longer generally on mondays as a coach this is a huge hindrance to getting my job done. Absolutely frustrating me. FYI cannot access via app or AF dashboard.more -
Good app but needs landscape view on the iPad
Aug 16, 2018 This app is great for receiving the workout that your anytime fitness trainer provides to you. It syncs with the anytime fitness app and pulls those workouts right in so you can schedule them onto the App’s calendar and which you can export to the Calendar on your Apple devices. One noticeably lacking feature in this workout app is the ability for the app to do landscape view. This is particularly important on the iPad. The developers should consider adding this feature as soon as possible.more

Ok, but needs updating
Nov 12, 2018 I used this app about 4 or 5 years ago. I don’t think it has changed at all and now is pretty outdated compared to other apps. It can do a lot but the things it should be great at like guiding me through a workout or helping me progress are just frustrating or nonexistent. Suggestions A) Make it finger friendly. There are so many tiny buttons and boxes on the screen that I hit the wrong ones. It’s just clunky and hard to read after a set B) automate stuff!! Everything is manual, starting a rest timer, going to the next exercise, putting in weight for each set, I could go on. Other apps automate most of this... C) Make plans dynamic. They aren’t personalized at all and just end, why? And they don’t change based on my progress. Would also be nice to have some suggestions on other exercises if the equipment is busy or isn’t in the gym D) speaking of progress, how do I see my progress???more -
Could be great app but...
Oct 23, 2018 This could be a great app with some edits. The functionality isn’t intuitive. Took me time to learn the app. Little to no instructions. Finally, please be careful and use proper form. The videos and pictures of exercises demonstrate how NOT to do some exercises. Example, the dumbbell lunge shows the model leaning forward and knees protruding over the foot. Back should be straight and knees not extending beyond the foot. Bad form on most of the exercises. Lastly, timer has a mind of its on! Won’t stop and keeps running. A few other broken actions too but too many to list. At least the app is “free.”more -
Update App
Oct 7, 2019 I downloaded the app and began to use it. I really liked at first. It would keep track of my workouts and link to my gym visits. I would be prepared to give the app a high rating. Unfortunately, with the most recent Apple update, the Anytime app has become near useless. Many of the workouts are gone and won’t load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. There are still a few workout programs listed, but many are gone along with my workout history. Very disappointing.more -
Mar 23, 2019 Mediocre. I can't give a review higher than 1 star is the functionality does not work as designed. Every time I try to view a workout, it says invalid URL. I'm assuming a video is supposed to load, but nothing happens. If that was fixed, this would easily be a four or five star app. Missing out here.more -

Feb 3, 2018 This app is amazing. 1000s of workouts, tons of 3-8 week plans. It records your workouts, it gives written instructions and videos for every exercise, when you do the same exercise again weeks later it remembers you did it and reminds you of every time you did it before (reps, weight, time). Very excellent!!!more -
Dec 20, 2018 I use the plans in this app and have for over a year. I love the variety and instructional videos. I love that I can save my notes, weights, and modifications for later reference. no adds, and it's never crashed or lost my info yet.more -
Love the App but...
Feb 7, 2018 I really needed this app to help know how to use equipment. Also it helped me pick a plan for my specific goals. One issue, it used to sink perfectly with my Apple Watch. Could see my workouts in my daily activities on the watch. Upgraded my phone to iPhone X and now it doesn’t do that anymore. Maybe need an update?more

Mar 6, 2020 Love the app and use it all the time. The recent update seems to have broken it though. In the middle of my workout the app crashes saying it needs to be used in conjunction with the anytime fitness app which opens, then they both crash 😐 bloody annoying in the middle of timing my reps!more -
Jun 25, 2019 Love this app in conjunction with the Anytime Fitness app. Only improvement I would make is to somehow link the workouts to a specific gym with their specific equipment. I find a lot of the workouts in Full Gym type workouts I have to "make work" with the equipment at my gym.more -
May 11, 2019 Great App that really can be used 'Anytime'. Videos are a great way to see the correct technique of each exercise & you can tailor a workout plan to suit you without the need for a Personal Trainer.

Dec 8, 2019 The app is very buggy. Random freezes before crashes. There's something wrong with the rest timer as well. It runs out wayyy too fast. Also, the schedule could be easier to use if it was linked directly to my calendar instead of having to sync it from the app to the calendar. Please improve the app as I am paying a premium for the facilities and the apps as well.more -
Sep 2, 2020 Was 5 star but dropped to 3 because of the connection loop issue which is a big pain when you just want to get the workout done. This just started recently. -
Sep 25, 2019 I really enjoy the app. It's a little confusing to navigate at first. The thing I hate about it tho is you are unable to delete exercise programs that you have started. It says in the FAQs that from the home screen you tap the X in the top right. However there is no X in the top right or anywhere.more

Mar 28, 2019 used to be really good. but since the last update i have been unable to watch any videos. i keep getting an 'invalid url' popup everytime i go to a new exercise. so not only is it not helpful, it is very annoying -
Jul 29, 2020 Stopped Working, will not let me sign into Anytime. Support take months to reply. When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, you get no help to resolve swiftly.

My app closes before it even gets to the workouts
Jul 20, 2018 I click on the app and it will flash the home screen and then close!! I’ve deleted and redownloaded. I’ve had staff at my location try to see if they can fix it! I’ve try going in to the app through the anytime fitness and and it still closes at the home screen within 5 seconds of opening!!! My trainer printed off my workouts but it would be much easier to be able to actually use this app!more -
No workouts
Dec 21, 2019 I’ve downloaded, deleted, redownloaded, and updates this app several times but still in every category: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. In every category: strength, weight loss, overall health etc. It says there are 0 workouts and there is morning for me to actually do. It will say dumbbells 0 workouts and I click on it and it’s a blank white page. For every. single. “workout” so basically this app has been deemed useless to memore -
Previously awesome...now useless
Apr 24, 2020 I used this app all of the time a little over a year & a half ago working out before & during pregnancy. Something happened & 90% of the moves are gone from the workouts. If you select a workout, 1 or no exercise moves show up. Now this app is crap. If they would just fix it then it could be awesome again. Until then, I give this app a ZERO because it’s useless. Don’t bother downloading it. I’m deleting it.more
What’s Groovy
As a person who has not worked out in awhile and didn’t know where to start, I was really able to get an idea how I can manage myself with the app. However, scheduling the days I want to workout on the app is weird because it says Sunday twice and then it appears differently on the calendar in app so it just looks weird and confusing. Not to mention when I put the times I plan to work out it also shows up differently on the calendar. Don’t get me wrong, it’ll take you step by step to do the workout you want, but the scheduling system is in need of fixing.

What’s Subpar
I have been using this app religiously for about 3 years. I don't use the timer functions, really just to track reps/weights and what day of my plan I'm on. Lately however it is not allowing me to save the workout or save my plan to the calendar.
