About Antiquitas - Roman City Builder
Antiquitas is an ancient city builder and simulation game. It is basically the game you have always been waiting for. Transport yourself back to the Bronze Age where you are given an empty plot of land and a few coins. Transform the land into the ancient Roman city of your dreams!

This game is worth your time/
Dec 10, 2017 Very nice game. Definitely no in app purchases and no tap or idle clicker nonsense that you see on other games. Resources generate reasonably fast enough to make lots of progress within a few hours and you can progress through the game rather easily as long as you know what you are doing and post on the forum when you need help. There is no having to wait hours for a resource to generate and come back later. In fact, this game will keep you constantly busy. All in all, this game is worth it, just like my colony.more -

This is pretty much the same mechanics, but changed buildings, storyline, resources, etc.(Or more, My Colony is a "reskin" of this game) But it doesn't mean it's bad. It's really good. Casual, not too hard, enjoyablemore -

I wish the river and bridges were free or unlockable with ads. Anyway, really enjoying the game. #finally made it to build the pyramid & sphinxmore

A bug that I have
Nov 5, 2018 Im having a problem where I’m trying to load into a game it will say restoring data and not load and if I make a new game I have a basically black screen and can’t really do much and I love games like this so if someone can help me with this problem much ablished (and don’t tell me to reinstall it I did a few minutes ago before writing this review) thxmore -

Premium’s a Joke
Oct 20, 2019 I enjoy this game as an easy, casual city builder. However, I wish I could get a refund on having bought the premium account, since it doesn’t WORK. I can’t play region games - it lets me ‘create’ a city then it just goes to a black screen where I cannot do anything except exit. I checked their tech support on their official website - someone posted this same issue... and not one person has replied, and it was posted 3 months ago. Promising game, i would rate it 4 to 5 stars if the features I paid for worked.more -

Apr 15, 2019 It would be a good game but the save game feature doesn’t work correctly. Nothing is more angering than spending a day building a city just to find out that the games save feature doesn’t work. -

Really good game
Feb 7, 2021 This is a really good game that I’ve had for about a year. There is one small problem that came up where I couldn’t make houses at the beginning due to being unable to get food, but I found out how to get the food.

Nov 30, 2018 Just as good as my colony. Great concept. Do you love me twice as much now?: edit, this game has a bug that after some time the workers freeze and the file doesnt save past that. Please fix that and i will give back 5 stars -
Oct 26, 2018 Creative mode is nice, but it needs the option for a true sandbox mode, where resources don't matter. Make sure to keep the current one though!

Doesn’t save your progress
Feb 10, 2019 This game is great except for one thing: it doesn’t save your progress when you exit the game! It is infuriating when I spend my time building a massive city and it vanishes. The screen also goes dark often when I start a new city. Please give me my progress back if you can. Thank you.more -
Great until
Nov 4, 2018 I got to the centralized government 50k unlock and my city reverted back at least a days worth of progress, being an inconceivable bug due to auto save and me booting the game several times that day. A shame I was enjoying it until I lost like 8 hours progress.more

What’s Groovy
One of the few games I play on my phone. It's very addicting. One thing though, it's a little hard to click the little servants so maybe a list of servants you've hired would be helpful...

What’s Subpar
I’ve heard good things and bad things about this game, but mostly good things. After trying to download it and play it, I realized I couldn’t, Well, PLAY the game.
It keeps loading, and loading, and it is definitely compatible with my phone. I was hoping the update it just had would fix the problem but it didn’t. Same thing goes for My colony. Tried to play but it would just keep loading and loading for minutes on. I waited about fifteen minutes and nothing happened.

Really good game
This is a really good game that I’ve had for about a year. There is one small problem that came up where I couldn’t make houses at the beginning due to being unable to get food, but I found out how to get the food. -
I am a sucker for these kinds of games, it is fun to just focus on making your own city. There are many different ways you can play, making the perfect city or the biggest tycoon. I could even see someone using this to roleplay some background for a dnd city or town. If you like My Colony you will love this game, and vice versa.

Creative mode is nice, but it needs the option for a true sandbox mode, where resources don't matter. Make sure to keep the current one though!
