It's an amazing app... I started my new podcast "Reading the Twilight Saga"........ Never thought podcasting would be so easy.... Moreover, my podcast is available on several platforms and I only have to manage everything at Anchor.... It does all the work.... I totally love it I'm just having one problem, though. I don't know why my est. audience count keeps reducing. It reaches a certain number and then gets reduced. This has happened 4times and it is really annoying. Please fix this

I wish that you make a longer episode because I was recording a episode with one my friend then stopped I think around 15 minutes even tho it’s awesome because pretty easy to put your podcast almost anywhere like Apple Podcast, Spotify,Apple Music and almost any app that you can think of it’s pretty simple and also pretty nice that you can get money off of it for free that’s crazy to me do I think it’s Worth it absolutely also listen to my own podcast it’s about gaming subscribe the podcast name is GamingWithO Also I would change put some more music like chill music, scary music, exciting music, confusing music, dramatic music and many others type of music I also the dope feature that you can interview you friends or any that wants to be interviewed wish you were could that can make episodes release kind of faster because it’s bit slow it kind take around 24 hours even though great app I highly recommend this to anyone that who wants to make there own podcast sorry but I want tell more suggest I wish if hit tap stop recording it doesn’t stop recording straight away and you can pause it and you start again when want to or you hit done that’s bye for Real now -
Great idea - Selfish execution
The fundamental of the app is such a phenomenal idea. One place to record your podcast that covers distribution. I’ll admit I’ve been on the edge of starting a podcast for some time now, and hearing Gary Vee talk about this app is what inspired the download and the start of my podcast. However, and this is a massive however. I can not stand the fact that Anchor feels that they can just brand themselves all over my content. Anchor has no right to play their advertisements over my content on iTunes, or brand themselves on my Facebook posts. The content and education that I’ve spent my life building doesn’t belong to anchor, and if your creating an app as a solution for some gaps in the market space that’s fine, but don’t try to claim that your app the reason why people are able to have a podcast. I’ve just uploaded my last episode through anchor and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because of this branding issue. -
This app is the easiest to use for recording, scheduling, and sharing. One suggestion I would make though, a way to view your podcasts on a monthly type of calendar, or a way to connect with certain types of sponsors on the platform. Even if through a separate app, these would be very useful items.

It would be perfect for me if it worked consistently
I have gone through the list of troubleshooting; updated browsers, tried multiple browsers, used the app on my phone and iPad, made sure that was updated, emptied the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled...and I still am having such a struggle to just get my first episode live. First problem I faced was when I recorded for the hour limit it failed to process. Ok, I’ll cut the audio in half and edit each half...minor annoyance. But then I spent 6 hours precisely splicing and trimming one half of the recording and when I went to review it before continuing, it was all chopped up and jumbled up. I assumed I someone hit something wrong so I did it again....I have attempted to edit parts of it even, and it still gets all jumbled and edits out pieces I didn’t splice and remove and even swapped parts of the audio that were in the same segment that couldn’t have gotten swapped. After 9 hours of working on this I finally decided it isn’t user error and it’s just a buggy system. I love everything about the app concept and I just hope they fix their editing software to make it truly user-friendly so I can finally start getting my content out there.

Great app
Listen with all the apps that say. Yes you can earn a few extra dollars. All of them have been not legit. This app has give me $12 dollars for my show already I feel blessed that it works thank you guys for helping me out with my show. God bless. -

Remote Podcasting is a joke
Downloaded app to remote podcast with colleagues, but the app WILL NOT recognize external usb microphones when using the collaborate section. External mic works great if I am working by myself though. -

I love this app so much because there are many many podcasts and (from my experience) there aren't any bugs. I recommend. (Also this is a review for listening to podcasts you can listen to not making podcasts.)

I had been searching for an App for Podcasting or just recording in general and Tried more than I wish to recall. Even with a MS Degree I'm "limited" within the framework of my personal "circuitry", ie: neurons, neuro receptors, production and distribution of the hormonal material needed for optimum Brain Function, etc. Though these things can be overcome, the effort involved sometimes seems unnecessary. With Anchor everything just fell into place. Thank you!

Easy to Use and Elegant in Design! It,s not too complicated, which I love. I was afraid my interview wouldn't worked, but it worked super well. There is no need for a complicated and expensive podcast setup! All you need is your phone and this app.

I love BUT...
I love making my podcast in this app however, they need to enable more editing capabilities. For example more bumper and transition music- Ability to splice things in and out of the podcast. A sneeze button would be awesome. And when I want to do an interview with someone it’s practically impossible. Please please please anchor find a better way for me to interview someone who is not in the room with me through my desktop. It does not work. It works momentarily then cuts out. I’ve had to do interviews with my guests by simply having them call on the phone and I put it up to the microphone because of this. Also I need more insight on my listeners. Do they listen to the entire show? Once l hit 1000 listens I can no longer see a count by count total. All that is available is for example 1.2K or 1.3k I want to see the exact numbers. Example-2087, 2088, 2089 - show me the exact number. And lastly give us small timers more opportunities to have commercials. I have consistent listeners and my listenership is growing but I’m only allowed to do the anchor commercial. Other than that thank you so much for this app it’s been very helpful and I enjoy it! -
Is it really this bad?
I’m a bit dumbfounded. You have to hold down on the record button to record, and as soon as you let go with your thumb, it stops recording and go straight to a published now page. It does not allow you to add on to that recording. Another way you can record is by putting the phone up to your ear. Once again when you pull the phone down it starts recording starts trying to publish that podcast. Let’s hope you don’t have to scratch your nose or something. This app sounds so compelling with its meet up with other people with similar interest in the group or joint podcast, but these fundamental basic user issues are beyond my ability to comprehend. I’m sure it’s there somewhere, but I couldn’t even find a delete button to delete my first random scratch audio take. Is there any other app in the world where you have to physically be touching the record button on the screen for it to record? Am I missing something? With the rating of over four stars I’m just really confused. -
So far, so good. A little hard to nav for an older person like myself, but the curve is stimulating and the finished product a hoot. Highly recommend.

Great app but..
This is a great app to get started on creating podcast. My friend and I just got approved for Apple podcasts and pocket cast in a matter of days! The only thing keeping me from giving it a full five star review are the two following problems. The first one, the app needs to include a way to trim unnecessary audio recordings. There has been plenty of times where we are 15-20 mins recording and we get distracted by something and end up recording 2-3 mins off topic and guess what? We have to record again since we can’t trim the audio recording! That is very frustrating. The second problem, whatever the app does it kills my phone’s battery! No joke! Just today we recorded a 11 min episode and my phone went from 86% to 58% that was unbelievable. And before you say it must’ve been something else..no I have background data restricted on all apps with exception of Anchor, Mail, Clash Royale, and Play music. When I launch this app I close out of everything and only laugh this app and I connect to WiFi. Once those two problems are taken care of I will gladly change my ratings! -
Ok so for ease of access anchor does exactly what i need it to but a couple of things are baffling me. This app released monetization in us in 2019. Its now 2021. An entire world. Think it sucks only US podcasters can earn through anchor. I will NOT be recommending to any body i know wishing to earn through podcasting. Youve lost a big audience. Ill still use anchor for its easiness. But its pointless. Imagine i made a partner, from the US is it really fair that they can get paid but not myself

When you rename a segment, you have to then click save otherwise it resets. The splicer tool is kind of weird, and if you make the wrong cut point, you can't put it back again. It says my podcast can be rejected, so but try Jolanxbl-ca n see if it's there

Editing on app isn't what you think..
I love this a lot from recording and laying out the segments. The UI is friendly and makes everything easy to record plus the part where people can leave me voicemails, I want to love it more, but at the point I start editing 20 to 30 min segments on the app itself because I want to work on my podcast all in one app. My issue here is that when I edit where I cut and trim out parts, I feel that it over cuts some parts of the recording. I was mostly removing a lot of "uhhs and umms", also some pauses where we were just taking a breather and the audio was silent. Once I've hit saved, it does take some time to process, once it's done...I would listen and not only just my cuts were made... additional cut offs happen into my conversations. So, when I've listened to hear out my cuts were made, either some of my sentences were cut and placed to somewhere else. Idk what's going on
