    Content is great obviously, but the app can be a little flakey at times. For instance when scrolling through product lists (usually Flash Deals or Black Friday lists etc.) the images for the products occasionally disappear at a certain scroll point, then reappear if you scroll back up, however this can mean you only see the very top of an image before it disappears. I can replicate this often and am able to take a screen record if Support/Dev needs it. Managing Subscriptions could be better.

    when you create a wish list, and make it public so that way your friends and family can see the gifts you want, it doesn’t tell the others when something is bought off of the list but it tells you for some reason. completely destroying the concept of being surprised by a gift. say someone buys something off your list and then you tap on the item, it tells you that it is bought. where when another person, maybe trying to buy the same gift, would tap on the item, it doesn’t tell them that it was already bought, which HAS lead to duplicates in gifts. they should tell the others that an item has been bought off of your list when they try to view it so it shouldn’t tell you when you want to view it because again, it destroys the surprise. however this is not an option. both option spoil the surprise. also they unnecessarily update the app way to frequently to the point where it become inconvenient. i used to like viewing the lists they made for you that was called “based off of your history” or something like that but they don’t have that anymore. and even when i did look through that list, they usually always show items i have ALREADY looked at. why would i need to see items i have already saw? i hope they change the list gifting thing the most. that is it’s biggest fault.

    I have been using this app for too many years to count. It helps speed up the searching time. However, and I’ve ALWAYS been annoyed by this, the filters are absolutely awful! Always have been. You can’t sort your searches by lowest to highest price. Oh yes, it HAS the feature but when you select it, INSTANTLY at LEAST half of the items disappear. In fact, I JUST searched something and without the sort filter there were 2,000+ items. When I tried to sort from lowest to highest price it showed 1,000+ items!! It’s infuriating and takes me HOURS to search the lowest prime-shipping priced items. Lately, in the last few months it’s been even more annoying. I’ll select one or two filters and scroll through the first pages or so until I find something to click on and when I hit the back button it takes me all the way back to page one!!! I have to go through page after page just to find where I left off! Sometimes I will apply a filter and click on an item and when I hit the back button it takes me to page one AND my filters have been cleared (just happened before I wrote this review and is the REASON i decided to write this review. SO, the app is more convenient than searching on the web but its performance is very poor most of the time.

    OK for checking on orders etc. but poor for actually buying anything. It's slow and would rather show you sponsored items rather than what you actually want. Search and filtering could be much better and if you click on a link whilst browsing elsewhere the app will take an age to load, if at all. Now I almost always buy using my laptop and use eBay on my phone.

I am updating my review and hoping to report a new suggestion for the Amazon app. I like the new set up of filters on the top bar when shopping because I use certain filters on everything I search to find the best quality items from trusted sellers. However, the "category" filter option is too far over. It should be one of the first shown in the row. In order to filter for only items shipped and sold by Amazon, I must first select the Category. Please move the Category filter over. Thx!☺

    I dont know whats wrong with the app, but is the only app on my phone that is extremely slow. Sometimes it gets almost useless. I tried in 5 different android phones and it still going slow. Like when u click any product, have to wait in forever before do anything, sometimes it takes about 30-40 seconds to be able to atleast change color, size, etc... And is to damn much when u got 8 GB of RAM, 2.6Ghz cpu with 8 cores, and 200 mbps internet speed.

    Bring back the drag and drop save/compare option. It made it easy to scroll through other items in your wishlist. Now we have the heart button to add an item to save an compare but we have to actually pull up the list to look at the items. Instead of having easy access. Make it easier for us to browse through the customer review pictures. When I click on a single picture and then go back to the full list of pictures it takes me all the way back to the top of the list instead of taking me back to where I was. Imagine looking at products that have over 100 pics and you have scrolled through 50, you enlarge a picture, and when you’re done looking you hit the back button and they take you back to #1. That’s annoying if you plan to look at more than one picture up close. Also, please allow us to scroll through items we’ve searched for without having to press “next page” every 2 minutes. We used to be able to just scroll unlimited products all on one page

    Why are search results now in pages and not continuous like they were before? Advertising I presume? Trying to sell your preferred lines? Used to just keep scrolling down and down and now I have to keep changing pages.. Terrible. Oh, and when I asked for help in the app I was lied to and was told that the App hadn't changed but to delete and reinstall the app and this would fix it (the non changed app that didn't need fixing I presume). Since it's such a pain now I've sort of stopped using it..

    Works fine on my iPhone (haven’t updated it yet), but when I try to post a question from my iPad, the button does nothing. And it’s super hard to find an item again unless you add it your cart or list, and then even if you don’t buy it, it will keep showing up in your recommendations for years to come (plus the listing can suddenly go from something normal to something you didn’t want to know about, and then THAT’s what’ll be recommended to you forever). There’s also no way to edit those recommendations, so you’ll always be bombarded with it Also there’s no way to report a sale of something that doesn’t belong to the seller (the most you can do is report them for incorrect product information, which they never read, or give them a bad review, which will be removed and might get you banned), so there are all these listings that say “handmade costume REAL PICTURE” and use stolen images of characters and custom items that the real owners have very clearly stated are not for sale.

    You're app and pc site will not allow me to see pages. I keep getting captchas and errors constantly. I can't shop on the app because of my vision, but because I get the same on the pc, I'm always having to delete and download it again. I can't shop the way I want if I can't use the site anywhere... I'm shopping more elsewhere because no one will help me. The rating system is also so deceiving. I used to depend on reviews, now it's a joke! Everything has gotten rediculous. Please fix it.

    One of my favorite apps👍 I use it to do 90% of my shopping. It's very user friendly and so convenient as soon as something comes to mind I want or need I jump on the app order the item or items and the next thing you know the product is waiting at my door. It feels like Christmas everytime I get a delivery.

    I used to love this app so much, couldn’t live without it. But ever since the newest updates, it’s been the worse app imaginable. I can’t get anything done on the app without me receiving an error dog after using the app for five minutes. Then I have to wait. Then I have to wait some more. Then I have to delete app and reinstall it. For no apparent reason. I can barely use it on my desktop now. It always says that the website isn’t safe now for some reason. I just hope I’m able to purchase orders when I finally get done shopping. Whenever that’s gonna be... can’t seem to dodge these error dogs. Definitely 1 star. Please fix it.

    The one thing that makes you received five stars, is because I can reach a live person and get my problem taken care of. This is extremely important at this time in life. Please don’t change this! There iis a second reason I think you are great; is if I have a problem with an order you most often have no problem at all making it right by sending me A replacement, and many times I do not have to go through the hassle of returningThe item.     Be careful of transactions ever since March of 2020 this year I have been having issues with over charges and refunds . I have never had issues in the past but now I’m alerting everyone on here and people that bring up them on a daily basis until this issue is resolved and other prime loyal members issues are fixed I will not rate you a 5 star we honestly have not been treated properly your chat is a failure if promises and your customer service calls went from a 5 to a 2 this is ridiculous. I’m van essential worker and I make sure my customers needs are taking care of within a timely manner.

    I have used this app frequently with few glitches or problems. I loved the freedom it provided since I primarily use my iPad for day to day use. Sadly though after the latest “update” the landscape mode seems to have vanished. This is a major problem for this consumer because I only use my iPad in landscape mode. I sincerely hope that the developers are speedy in the remedy of this extremely inconvenient glitch! Update! The glitch was fixed in short order and the app is back to full use! Thank you so much for you quick attention to such a small but very annoying issue!

    It’s confusing when I sort items by price: low to high and my results go from 800 down to 67?? Why are hundreds of items removed simply by re-sorting them in a different order? When narrowing searched items down by using the filters I wish there were more options such as where Items are SHIPPED FROM-North America, China, Global etc. like you can on eBay. When looking at an item the only way I can tell if something's not being shipped within the U.S. is the estimated arrival date is 1+ weeks from the order date. The other option I'd like to see is Free Shipping. There's the option to choose items that ship free with Prime but what about other items that ship for free that aren't Prime?

    I use the app a lot, and it’s great for shopping, but I get frustrated because of the combination of no forward button and slow response. If I have gone to several screens looking for something, and want to go back one screen, I hit the back button. Because of slow response, it looks like I miss-hit the back button. I instinctively hit it again and I am returned back to the beginning screen of the session. I cannot forward back, so I am forced to try to recreate my previous searches. Ugh. If no forward button, I need an instant indication that back is actually in progress so I won’t be tempted to hit back again. Or, stop going back to the beginning with two presses of back.

    I’ve used your app since you ever had an app! Never ever had issues! Because of that I give 4 stars. It worked a couple weeks back but been having problems the last two weeks. I can search and look up items as normal but when I click on one of the thumb links to read details about a product or buy a product. It’s a blank white screen that dimly flashes. (White and grey)?? I restarted my phone and everything else I think to do on my part. Nothing works. I understand it may also be problems with current bugs on iOS 11? Either way. If this isn’t just me, I can see it seriously being a problem. Anyway, Thank you, and everyone have a Happy New Year!

    I love the manner in which orders are listed in the app now. Before, items appeared in a random order and sometimes undelivered items were lost lower in the list but now they’re clearly marked in the order in which delivery is expected. Such an improvement! So much cleaner and clearer. The other comment I have is that for some unknown reason, two of my reviews have been blocked due to “sensitivity reasons” — I don’t understand why you ask for reviews when you’re going to block them for no reason. I reread those two reviews and they’re about a lightbulb and trash can liners and there’s nothing sensitive about what I wrote. Thank you for listening.

    I’m not normally one to complain, but the new app update was a grand waste of time and effort. If you paid for that abomination, I would demand your money back... and an apology. The user interface change is so different from the previous app that it makes for a very confusing and frustrating experience. I spent more time figuring out the cluttered navigation than I did shopping - and I apologize, but I do not believe you could have found a more hideous chimera of accent colors if you applied two AI’s and a team of failed design school dropouts to the task. That sickly, washed-out mint green, tried to be aqua, and God I wish I were blue, is absolutely repugnant and nauseating to behold. Marketing FAIL! Please, for the sake of those of us with good color vision make it go away. I will have to use the mobile website until it is purged. If you just put it back the way it was, I’ll give it 5 stars out of mercy and never complain again.

    More and more it’s harder to find things I know are available due to the results bringing up all sorts of things that have nothing to do with my search. The filters consistently remove items which makes it harder to compare without going through tons of pages. So many items are listed multiple times with no difference in price, seller, item, or prime availability which only makes searching tedious. Lately when I search for something I’ve bought it’s no longer at the top of results but gets removed from my list which is inconvenient. Finally the new layout to me is objectively worse for functionality but was pushed through because it looks “nicer” to whoever developed it. It loads slower, less shows up on the screen due to everything being 50% larger for some reason, and has made it slower browsing. Now I’ll be less likely to use the app to buy things more spur of the moment and buy fewer more necessary items on desktop.

    I have been using this app for a couple of year now and everything was going fine until this year. I have tried to order twice and I haven’t received either or the packages. The first time I got a full refund but the second time they told me I got a refund and never actually gave me my money back. I tried telling customer service but I don’t think they believe me and i don’t know why. They told me I got my refund back but when you look at my gift card balance it’s 0. I haven’t ordered anything since I placed that order so I don’t know where the money went. I have been having such a hard time trying to communicate my problem to them but they just don’t seem to understand or want to believe me. I also tried sending them screenshots to show them I wasn’t lying but the email they gave me didn’t work. Then they said they would give me a $5 gifts card and I never got it either. This app has been frustrating me so much lately. I just want my packages.

    Constant crashing - "oops, something went wrong" over and over, continuously. Unusable garbage, like much of the trash amazon and google play sells. Zero stars if possible. Update 8/20/20 - they've found a way to make it worse. Pictures do not load in search results and everything is at a snail's pace. Still unusable rubbish and still no one cares. Bezos is terrible also. Update 10/13/20: still garbage. No photos and very slow with crashes.

    This is the worst to search for anything or buy anything on! Doesn't allow you to choose the category you want and it doesn't even have a grid system so you can look at more items so it takes forever!! I only have this for updates on my shipping. This actually used to be a really good app about two years ago, but the more they update the worse they get!!

    New update needs fixing. I cannot find a list view option anywhere, and the grid view it shows is far too large so you have to scroll from side to side to see everything. If I wanted a desktop version, I would choose it on my own. It has been like this since July-why isn't it fixed yet?! Amazon is now my last resort for online shopping because I can barely see one entire photo on my screen in my search result list, let alone several. Why is this STILL so crappy?!
