  • One frustrating problem. Oct 23, 2019

This is one of the best games of this genre, all the others I have stopped playing but this is lasting so far. I downloaded after the annoying persistent advertisement. Keeps me busy, it’s much easier to do daily and weekly quests and all that. There’s so much to do. I’d say I’m progressing very well for not paying any money, just making sure I check in. Everything is great. EXCEPT, the arcane labyrinth has become darn near impossible. I understand it’s supposed to scale up with your progress, but there’s been twice now that I can’t get past level two of the labyrinth no how many Dura’s Tears I use. The reason I’m writing this review is because I almost finished the level two boss five minutes ago, but there’s one hero I cannot beat. After using Dura’s Tears twice, my teams of five cannot get this lvl 160 Antandra to half health before she singlehandedly destroys alllll of my hero’s, twice. I can’t imagine floor three at this point. My highest hero’s are level 120 and I feel the only way to break this limit is to pay money. All my Resonating Crystal hero’s are like level 111. This is the kinda thing that makes the game monotonous. I cannot for the life of me beat this one hero with everything that I’ve worked towards, and I don’t wanna pay any money. Other than that the game is fantastic

The game is good overall and I like most of the features. However the developers should think about their pretty sexist character art. I like the art style overall, but basically every female character is effectively half naked or is dressed in a provocative way. Sadly I know this is common in a lot of fantasy games, but that doesn't excuse it.

Usually I don’t play much mobile games, but this one caught my attention. I have played afk games before but this one is different in the sense that the feeling of waiting.. is rewarding. I know sounds funny but I actually enjoy the games mechanics. The longer you wait the more resources you collect to equip your heroes and level them up. You can choose to spend real money to buy gems which can be used to get better heroes and gear which sounds like a bad thing, expect it’s not. The deals they offer is actually not that bad with specials popping up so every often and new deals coming out daily. The other thing I like about this game is that if you truly just want to grind your way to success, you can you just have to be determined to do so. Another cool concept which is new to me is the ability to pay for one of two subscriptions. The normal monthly which rewards you with a pretty sum of gems for the price tag of $5 a month (not that bad considering the amount you will receive overall) and the premium subscription which is $15 (insanely high amount of gems rewarded, around 120,000 which is about $100 dollars worth upfront if you think about it) overall, I’m a fan of the game and I’ll continue on playing.

I have played many of these types of games before. I like the premise that gatcha games have, and know what these games need to have in order to be enjoyable. This game has the usual aspects with the summoning type system and level layout. The characters/artwork are beautiful as well making it one of the most eye catching game I have played in a while. In my opinion, though, the best aspect is the AFK part of this game. Most like it don’t have this system and requires you to pay money and constantly play in order to progress at a good rate. This game allows you to not only spend less money but also progress at the same rate even without being active. I wish that more games could have this type of system. This was what I enjoyed from the game so far. In another review of this game, someone had a problem where their game would crash constantly. In response to this, a developer instructed to free up space on their phone by at least 2 GB. I have 5 GB of free space, but I cannot even access the loading screen without the game crashing. Just in case internet access is a factor, I have very fast and good connection. This problem is so bad that every time I delete and reinstall the app, I can only get to the game twice before it refuses to open again. I have done this 5 times already. I like what I have seen so far of the game and want to progress, but this flaw is preventing me.

Let's make a fun addicting game. Make it to where you think you have gotten far. Then make a new quest that you won't be able to beat because we capsized your characters at a certain level. Gave them gear of our own and you're only allowed certain characters to use... Don't worry we made the coms almost impossible to beat with what your given...

Good, but a lot of crashes. I am on an Samsang Gala tablet, model SM-T561 with Android 4.4.4 When playing Arcane labarynth, King's tower or sometimes campaign, my game keeps freezing, or heroes go down to 0 health, but refuse to die, forcing me to restart my game. Happens once every 20 minutes or so. Would rate 5 stars if it did not crash, so I recommend installing and trying the game out for yourself. 10/10 for artstyle

After you complete the easy stages (which are easy to hook you to the game) things get exponentially more difficult and require more summons to get your units stronger. Sure this is like most games but when you spent your diamonds and the rate it's a 50% rate to get a common unit which is completely useless and only a 4% chance to get the useful unit. And to get more diamonds after you waste them is to either wait and grind or pay just for the same shorty pulls. And if you want to actually compete with the top players in the server you will never beat them unless you pay as much as them giving no chcefor ftp player a chance. I'm just about ready to delete the app, and I'm leaving this 1 star review while I'm still currently playing. I play the game everyday and joined really early in when a server opened. I'm close to the top 50 for both staging and the tower but the difference between the top players is so massive. The top player is almost 3 whole chapters above the 2nd highest player. The main issue is that it gets hard to save up diamonds and to waste them by getting 7 green and 3 blue is not going to help people progress or catch up to those that p2w. Increasing the rates slightly or heavily lower the rate of green on diamond summons would help. And more events(like the Easter one but less pay for eggs) that can allow people to work for a goal and pick something that will help them.

After playing this game for several days I enjoyed the gameplay. The problems never end... there are bugs in loading and it crashes almost every five minutes after playing. These can be patched but it really annoys the player. Not sure if this is for everyone, but it has happened and especially if you put in real cash, I feel that I would want a refund after what I have experienced. The gameplay of this game is decent, the characters that I have obtained are decent but I got some very bad pulls after spending many gems on the summoning pool. I have enjoyed the afk feature but the resources are just not coming for me. I have not been able to progress that far even with the afk resource feature. The huge problem are the bugs. This has automatically made me one star this game. I can’t play the game if the game crashes continuously even with good connection. I have an iPhone which is supposed to be superior to other phones on the market and somehow this game doesn’t perform. The crash rate is way too much and it destroyed my liking for the game. If they fix this issue I’ll give a higher rating, but as I explained, it has a ridiculous amount of bugs in loading times and this has been the biggest troll games can do to customers. Don’t recommend until bugs are patched. Try in a few months and if it still crashes I’m done and will not play anymore.

I had been playing afk arena for weeks and had to go on a deployment that would keep me away from my phone for days at a time meaning I would not be able to play the game for days at a time but I was also the leader of a pretty big guild named Helux. One day I log back in to see I was no longer the guild master and I thought alright I’ll just ask the new one to make me the gm. However he removed me from my own guild that I purchased and spent weeks growing till it was almost lvl 4 and renamed it to bouv community. I immediately went to customer support to explain the situation and for those of you who do not know it is supposed to be a live chat customer support however I had to wait over 12 hours to get a response at 2:00 am in the morning saying “sorry can’t interfere with Guild matters” so you mean to tell me I am being punished for me being a soldier. I already have to be away from home for extended periods of time and only get to play whilst I’m connected to the fobs WiFi, and then I get punished for going beyond the wire. It truly shows that they do not care about there non P2W customers though even I have purchased a small amount of items I hope in the future people don’t have to go through what I did but I will most likely be uninstalling as I just lost weeks of work and a lot of friends I couldn’t add as our friends lists where full.

Nothing in the top review is true maybe some things but mostly not. I've been playing this game everyday for the last 4 months. I've never missed a single day. My player level is 104 and I have a Max of 1450k fighting points. I wanted to make it clear that this is a pay to win game. I have not payed anything other than 1 dollar. The fact is people are already complete with the game and competeing competitively I'm only near halfway. Those people spend 100's of dollars on the game. If you don't like spending money then don't expect to get far without paying before you lose your sanity. The game isn't really that rewarding unless you wait as in the name of the game. If youve seen the ads its certainly stunning to see how poorly made the ads are especially with how much this game has already gotten. The ads are misleading and lying which is ILLEGAL but not the reason I got the game myself. This game doesn't listen to their community as far as I can see. Overall the game is growing pretty well and I see it becoming a strong game but not even close to being a competitor to clash of clans or clash Royale, especially with these standards. Edit: they might say that events can help free to play players but as someone who plays everyday I can tell you that you can't get to most of the rewards unless you pay. The fact that there are even pay elements in the events is sad.

This game is really fun and has a great system to it. If you want to grind you can to a certain point in this game but if you only have a few minutes to play then this is it too as long as you collect your chest/ 12hr time slot of built up material/xp/gold/etc. The characters are great and the game is always somehow fresh in its own way with a lot of unlocking but fair qualities to it. The developers and artist did an amazing job on this game making it easy to navigate, not cluttered, no ads! And minimal BUY HERE options. They’re so generous with updates and new material, they are amazing! This game is totally worth it. ** I do how ever wish that they’re was some how a way to train your individual characters/ select groups with mini battles or side line stories and I’m talking to besides what’s available in the game like if you have a gold card player and you’re waiting to get another to level them up to two player so you’re stuck on getting cards and need more gems or even gold then you can do a side line quest or battle stages for that single character and it has a higher chance to drop more clothing items meant to help that characters class or even low level to help give the items more level ups.

I LOVE this game A LOT. I'm very addicted to it. 😊 To the developers: I've been experiencing really weird bugs lately. The game has been freezing A LOT for me after any kind of battle I do ends. It's kind of as if it's not registering that the battle is over and won't go to the next screen unless I close out of the game completely. Also my game crashes A LOT in the Labyrinth now and random things aren't loading in right anymore at times. I don't know if it's just me or not. 😭

I rarely rate any game 5 stars, but I LOVE this game! The controls are simple and easy while the story is rich, complex, and detailed. The animation, graphics, and character design is clean and fresh, and each character has their own unique backstory. Leveling up is very simple (it doesn't take weeks or months to obtain materials for levels like other AFK games), stages are easy to clear, no pay-to-win tactic used, new updates keep the game interesting, and very, very addicting!

  • Amazing Game, but iOS Version has Bugs Sep 19, 2019

    By Ramon Lomeli
Let me just start by saying that this game is addicting and extremely enjoyable. It is one of those few games whose mechanics are simple to learn yet feels challenging as you progress. I love the amount of characters that are available in the game, and the progression mechanics are great. My biggest flaw with this game is the loading screen. What I mean by loading screen, is not the initial app start up screen that pops up, rather the loading icon with the galloping horses pulling a carriage. This icon pops up when the game is trying to load or render something such as an action (input by user). I am playing this game on an IPhone 8 Plus 256GB model and with the latest version of Mac iOS, but this game runs absolutely horrendous on this software (not the hardware on the phone itself or my internet connection). It seems like anytime I click a “Begin” button, try to collect loot, open or click anything, I will almost (about 90% of the time) always get this annoying loading screen which can last 5-20 seconds or more. I have this same game on an older 2016 Samsung galaxy tablet with only 2 GB of RAM and this game plays as smooth as possible on that device. The developers really need to address this issue since it’s been going on since launch date and seems to be roughly the same now on the iOS version.

It's pretty addicting and fun, but if you're competitive, it might leave a bad taste in your mouth because it's very frustrating as gaining heros is a very slow process. So unless you're spending money and getting those summons, the RNG may drive you bananas. Overall, beautiful art and love the concept that I can play/level up even when I'm away from the phone.

  • Great Game a typical F2P P2W Model Jun 16, 2019

    By D0gb3rt
I actually like this game a lot. It can be fun because it requires less active commitment to play and or grind for exp, weapons, and money. Sadly if you don’t spend real money into the game you have no chance of success. The sheer amount of duplicates needed to Ascend/upgrade your units is staggering. There is a reward system per pull to get a random epic but that is few and far between and isn’t enough to make continual progress as the only things that matter are 4skill epic pulls and they are extremely rare. The tower and campaign are similar but the arcane labyrinth is a demented joke since after you get past the first few days you will probably never beat level 3 without using revival potions and even then the matches are setup to be double or triple power vs any of your troops. And the labyrinth scales against you so if you get stronger your enemies double which is kind of crappy since the game sets quest rewards for completing an event that can’t be defeated by non paying customers. This is a F2P P2W game so it boils down to you will either take it for its content and enjoy it or you won’t . It does have some interesting game mechanics that make it a good time waster without needing a story to drag you through the game. Plus the developer does perform hot fixes when needed and releases updates and content regularly.

  • Thoughts on the new update for helping friends Jul 21, 2019

    By katileau
I don’t normally write reviews for games, and I’m pretty sure this will get lost somewhere but I just wanted to share my thoughts on this new update where you can rent and hire mercenaries from your friends to help you on your quests. When I first saw this update I was actually really excited, because I was thinking about how they should add a feature where you can use your friends heroes to help you since it’s fairly difficult to get the heroes that you want. I thought adding this feature would be a really nice idea. But then I realized this system needed some work. The fact that you can only use your friends hero for only 1 battle per week is kind of outrageous. Also, once you return your friend’s hero back it doesn’t let anyone else rent it for the entire rest of the week and I think that’s a bit stupid. I think we should be able to rent the hero and actually be able to use them to help us on our quests, and not just for once battle a week. It takes a long time to get through the campaign, and can even take a week or more to get through a stage. This feature would help us to actually play through the game and I think it should be tweaked to make it more enjoyable.

  • I love this great game! Jan 2, 2020

The only reason why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is because of these two issues. (One of them is more serious and important than the other. The second one is probably the least important and isn’t the reason why my review is only 4 stars.) Anyways the first issue is the scammers, there are scammers everywhere, thankfully there’s a report message button but it still feels like there should be more ways to prevent/report scammers(AND other things too, like bullies, but so far I haven’t met any bullies right now that are bullying me so... hooray for me so far!) like, I want at least a couple more options than just report the message or blocking them. The second least important one is in the block menu, if you hadn’t blocked anyone it says: “you have no friends right now” or something like that. Which, when you think about it that should probably say something else. Other than those issues, I love this game, how it battles monsters to earn gold and other stuff like that. Keep up the great work, Lilith Games! Update: Ok, now my game keeps crashing. I would go into more detail, but 40% of the other reviews I saw myself said the same problem I’m having. Like one review said if you don’t fix it in a month they are not playing anymore. I’m not just going to do that when it happens but also change this review to 1 Star in a month.

So far I'm enjoying it. With all gacha games they throw good stuff at you in the beginning in hopes to keep you playing. If this flow continues and feels fair by comparison I'll change my review. Update: I've given the game more time. The pay wall hits as quickly as other games but returning daily feels more engaging. I'm not a fan of not playing a game to progress. The game is pay-to-go-faster, and in terms of the arena, actually pay-to-win. Only play if you are patient or have a lot of cash.

The gameplay is well-executed, but the interface can be a bit busy. On top of this, a lot of personal questions are asked in the chats that could lead to endangerment issues. I'm happy with the game, as long as I don't open the chat. It would be best if you prioritised the safety of your community at the same standard as the gameplay. Nonetheless, 3 stars.

Bountiful rewards is the most annoying event I have yet to experience with this game. 2 characters to challenge 5? And out of all the different formations only 1 is the correct way to win? Okay, to avoid just ranting I’ll begin with the pros of the game; it has a cool art style. Alright, now that the pros are out of the way....where to begin? This game has so many problems. It seems like it’s still in beta. Little things like a few letters from a word will run-on to the next line, poor use of pronouns (everything is “he/his”), after I play for 20-30 min the game slows to a crawl, but mostly the biggest problems just come down to poor game design. The game is terribly unbalanced. Total lack of guild content. Perhaps the worst aspect of the game is that the bottom-tier heroes (there are only 3 tiers) have absolutely no use, AT ALL. As in, you can’t even use them as fodder to power up your stronger heroes! I don’t know who thought that was a good idea but seriously, what’s the point of having them? The strong heroes are rare as you’d expect and I’d be fine with that except that you have to pull several of the same hero to power them up. So, your progress will stop after about 2 - 3 weeks of playing and then you’ll be stuck until you happen to pull enough of the same hero-types as your strongest heroes, however long that may be. You can’t even grind at a slow pace to eventually get stronger, just get lucky summons, that is all.

This game is awesome. I love the art style and I can sit down and put it away and still hope to advance. The issue is clear, however, when you reach a certain point in the game. All of my heroes are at a level cap but I can’t get enough resources or heroes to ascend them. The game was a lot of fun, even if some later stages were grueling. Every day I could only level up heroes once, and probably every week I could move forward like 2-3 stages. At this point I’m done. I’m unable to move forward, stick at a stupid level cap. It’s obvious this game is a pay to win, or at some stages pay to play. The problem is, devs will promise to “fix” the game via an almost robotic and automated reply to other very obvious complaints. It’s as if the devs completely forgot about this game. The only good part about this game now is when it updates you can’t play it. This game will die out of new players and the top players will eventually get bored with no player base to play with/against. I don’t recommend this game unless you have either a few years to waste or quite a bit of money that could be put into anything more useful, like maybe an avocado holder...

  • They do not care about customers! Jun 1, 2019

Many bugs really need to be fixed. 100% PAY TO WIN. PC opponents will commonly break rules to defeat you. You can even lose after you won. RNG favors PC a lot. Reply to Developers: I had already emailed my video in per your request via email prior to my review. You told me there is nothing you can do it's a bug. Wanna see the email? Then you change your response to me needing to upgrade characters? Where do I mention not being strong enough? Please try again, and this time respond accordingly
