    It’s really a good app as an concierge, only thing is, they should freelance the scrolls, rather than have it set to a lock feature, so it’ll be more freedom, rather than, me finding myself; click scrolling on the screen to get to a residents unit number that’s all the way at the bottom, when it could be faster service. Also notices; the software itself, gives wrong tracking numbers, to a point where I’m being questioned by my residents about it, which brings confusion. Although it’s a great software, there’s allot of pros and cons to every successful app, out there in the market.

    I appreciate the centralized, streamlined nature of ActiveBuilding, but I do wish the app had better integration into my phone rather than just being a conduit to open the website. I never get notifications about any urgent posts on my building wall because I don't think it can do that. I haven't found a well-marked way if it exists. One of my neighbors needed a jump in the garage the other day around 10am and I didn't see it until the daily digest came into my email at 8:30pm, long after I would have been able to help. Notification integration would fix this issue entirely.

    This is a great app - when it works. I used to use it all the time. Then it started doing a strange log in. I'd sign in and get a screen with my photo that would say "Sign in as..." and my name. I'd have to sign in again...same thing. I have to go to the web now to pay rent, etc. Unhappy. It used to be so convenient.

    This app could be much better. When you tap on a photo that was posted, there is no way to exit out of the photo... no back button, no exit button, nothing. Sometimes if I swipe around it will exit the photo and put me back at the top of my feed, other time I have to completely quit the app and log back in just to get out of the photo. It’s also a 50/50 shot of whether a link will work or won’t even be clickable. The other features on the app are good and get the job done, but the photo portion needs to be revamped.

    I like this app a lot. I’ve been using for a few years now and it works very nicely. I can pay my monthly rent, request maintenance support, receive package delivery notifications, and many other things. I especially like the notifications residents receive from the property management office and the community message board where residents can post messages and interact with each other.

    It's a pain to just long in. You have to click log in (which is the only button there) then wait for a new page to load. Then add your email you hit enter and then it takes you to a new page add your email again (if it doesn't keep it) and this time add your password wait for it to load. Sorry but it's a pain but thankfully I'm no longer at the apartments anymore so I'm deleting and never using again. Good luck to the rest of you that have to use this.

    I’ve only been using the app for a couple months to pay rent. The app is in serious need of an update to fix stability and the constant crashing. Pages won’t load properly and it took days for the app or webpage to work in the proper manner. A couple times it said online it was unable to access page and to check the address and retry. That’s just unacceptable. How can companies expect us to use this app to do things when it’s not easy to figure out and has a ton of stability issues. When scrolling through a page, it goes out of the ‘box’ on screen like it wasn’t programmed properly and it was half minded in development. Thoroughly unimpressed. If you have to download it like I did, I am sorry. Just know it’ll be very glitchy. Also, don’t expect your landlord to be able to offer any assistance as mine told me ‘idk’ when asked what I should do with the app not working properly. Just wanted to share my opinion on this app. I hope they can fix all these issues and deliver a proper product. Otherwise they should just use Venmo or cash app instead for mobile rent payment.

    Is it supposed to be possible to create an account? I was taken to a login screen immediately, but have nothing set up because it's my first time using the app. Also took me to a webpage to input a password (which isn't even set up yet 🙄) and it took forever to load. Don't really see the point in having an app if everything is done in a webpage regardless

    I can pay rent and not unusable, but seriously needs work! - Needs notifications. Messages just sit there waiting for you to check the app. If you don’t actively check, you won’t get the messages. - If you click a link that opens the in-app browser, it takes over the whole app and the only way to go back to the message/post is to kill the app. This is pretty dumb. - If security times out, you have to kill (swipe away) the app to use Touch/FaceID again, otherwise it automatically takes you to the painful login page. - Utilize swipes. This is part of the iOS style guide. You should be able to swipe open/close the menu, swipe backwards to go to the previous context, swipe down to refresh the page/messages.

    Terrible app! Constantly not allowing log-ins which could cause users to miss rent payments! Fingerprint stops working randomly and when I try to log in it always says my password is wrong but if I request a change it doesn't send the email... Absolutely garbage app!

    I like this app a lot. I’ve been using for a few years now and it works very nicely.     This app is great for where I live. I have already received help from making a post and the management posts events and updates. Looking forward to making new neighbor friends with it. And the ease of checking and paying rent nice. And it’s maintained with my personal lease info. Very convenient and I recommend using it and all its features.

    I do like the whole Idea of the App, it’s been working fine for me so far. Very easy to use, and pleased with the Security of it. My only issue is with the 3rd party Advertising. There seemed to be a Glitch when I clicked on the Ad about Renters Insurance. I was never able to get back to my Home Page of the Active Building. There was no back arrow or anything to get me out and back to Active Building. I had to restart my phone in order to finally get back.

    A recent update changed the login process and it is very strange. First you click a button to login and are rerouted to a page that asks for your email. Then you are routed to a page that asks for your password. When you click ok, you are routed to a final page where you click “login” and your finally in. Each page looks completely different, so it feels like I’m being phished. Please streamline this process, as it is incredibly confusing and unsettling.

    If there could be a back button, that would be helpful. When I open pictures or any pdf attachments, I’d have to completely close out the app. Not sure if this is the same for others, but overall it is a nice and convenient app to pay rent and look at the community wall. Another thing I noticed - there isn’t a simple way to delete multiple messages. You’ll need to swipe to delete for each message and most of the time it’ll lag.

    In order to login you have to authorize ActiveBuilding to access your ActiveBuilding account. ??? You essentially are logging in four times each time you want to use the app. Additionally, if you click on a tab in the app, there’s no back button or close button, so you have no choice but to close the app if you want to get out of the page. Things are hard to find too. When making an account the app asked if I wanted my profile to be viewable to my neighbors, yet despite looking everywhere I can think of, I can’t find any page that shows neighbors. Either they asked for permission to put me on a page that doesn’t exist, or there needs to be an accessibility revamp.

    Logging in always makes you have to login twice and there are always bugs (I.e. opening a photo on feed there isn’t a way to close it. You have to close the entire app and reopen, also there is no way to make a post, this hasn’t always been an issue just recently as no post button) they really need to work on their app as I’m sure this is how most access their accounts instead of using a desktop. I’ll be on lookout for update where issues get fixed. If not I’ll be contacting their app support team and get these fixed, it’s really annoying for me if you can’t tell.

    Most time I use it to submit a work order and it is very temperamental when allowing a description. If you have to make a change or have a typo forget it. You have to start over from the beginning! And it would. It allow me to edit the area of our availability for the work to be done since we have a dog and our work schedules vary. It is most helpful when submitting rent payments and commenting in the community. But then again those comments have to be approved and as of late there are rarely any messages whereas in the past there were.

    This app SUUUUCKS. The interface is clunky and old. Things show as past due when just posted. There is no option to make a one time only payment. It forces you to make the full payment.
