  • Good but unnecessary tweaks at time Nov 26, 2020

    Dear app team, I obviously like the app for years. Today the last update really annoyed me: why would you need to increase the vertical spacing between accounts?? We now have all that white space in between and it make that the bottom accounts aren’t visible anymore unless scrolling! Can you use the same spacing in the accounts view as in the “self service “ which is much better. If you want to tweak this, at least make it a setting like “compact mode” in Gmail to keep the compact vs extended view. Many thanks for reading.

    De app is fantastisch. Dit in schril contrast met ABN management die zonder aanzien des persoons en uiterst discriminatief een 50 jaar klant van 75 jaar oud buiten sluit en er alles aan doet om hem het leven zo zuur mogelijk te maken. Zijn app afsluiten. Brieven aan hem maken op 15 aug 2018 en pas versturen in januari 2019 met een verouderde bank pas. Soortgelijke malversieve zaken zijn meerdere keren gebeurd. Discriminatief: Waarom kan een expat gewoon door bankieren bij ABN? En kom aub niet aan met de onzin dat dit maar tijdelijk is. Ik was zelf van 1983 tot 2012 expat. Dat is 29 jaar ! Onvoorstelbaar en Schandelijk en zeker als de ABN maar al te goed weet dat ik om medische redenen niet in staat ben om naar Nederland te komen om een andere bank in te schakelen. En NOTA BENE op eigen kosten. Nogmaals Onvoorstelbaar en Schandelijk. Maar wie interessert dat nu? FMJ FRANKEN, Philippines

    Around ten times a day I get a notification asking me to leave tips on how to improve in the App Store. Here’s the tip: stop asking for them! Stop annoying me with notifications to give feedback. It’s desperate and frustrating. The app is generally great but not this. Make it stop in the next update, please.

    ABN AMRO, My heartfelt thanks for this App. I like it, for many reasons! Firstly, It is easier to perform a quick balance check and view the transactions in the account, defintely lot easier compared to logging in to website. Secondly, I can do account transfers along with setting a daily limit on such transactions. Thirdly, Easy to setup (it took me <3 minutes) and Easy to Use/Intuitive UI. Now that I have this app, I don't think that I will ever log on to the site again! However, it would be great and helpful if this app is made available in English. I am sure you are listening, So I am all waiting for the next version of this app, with English localisation. Thanks!

    I’ve tried about 20 times over the last 5 days to create an account through the app (which is a new feature) and I’m given a very generic “There was an error. Please retry later” message after I take my photo. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app several times with no luck.

    Tried to sign into the app but it would not take my log in. Now it refuses to go forward or back and sign up. I closed the app but it goes back to the same screen. Very frustrating. A bank this size should have developed an easy to use interface app. Had to delete the app to start all over.

    Illogical set-up for transfers between accounts, task list that keeps showing pending tasks when there are none and no one from the bank can solve it, and incessant reminders to rate this app. There, happy now Abn-Amro? Next time I tell you what I really think.

    In iOS 14 there’s no way to turn on notifications. When I hit “enable “ it takes me to a settings screen for ABNAMRO but there’s no notification option. In notifications there’s no ABNAMRO option. ABN AMRO ABN AMRO Bank N.V. "Hi Jens, if you go to the ABN AMRO app and go to Profile > Notifications, can you turn them on there? ^Eilis" No- when I hit enable I inside the app on notifications it goes to preferences but doesn’t allow me to enable notifications

    Easily check our account balances and transfer money. Definitely worth the space on your phone! Features I'd like to see added are showing balance of mortgage loans and the message inbox to communicate with ABN customer service.

    Overall, a great app. You can only set a max transfer limit of €750 per day, but that's good enough! Very smooth. I transferred on the app, and checked my online interface literally only a second later, and it was updated! It's in Dutch, but still, very intuitive to use... Just use google translate.

    I would like to congratulate ABNAmro for this app, as it works as it should. This was not the case a year ago. So this app deserves a 5star at the moment. You can easily manage your bank accounts with this app but also you can use it for online shopping.

    Prefer using the mobile app over the desktop. Easy and quick payments. The acceptgiro scan is great. Keep up the good work. Would be nice if the credit card was linked to view transactions.

    I changed my phone (iphon xs max) and tried to login. But, I couldn’t. I entered my identification code but always error message poped up. MESSAGE_WEB000_999 Call center officers always said that my iphone name should be only with alphabets. It was not helpful. Already my iphone name is “ABCDE” How can I fix it?
