It's much better than google maps, but i would like to suggest a feature, here in UAE most cities have 20KM buffer speed, so if we can adjust that so it won't warn us everytime even though we are still in the buffer speed

more lessGreat app, stable and works offline as good as online. Small little things make it a worthy competitor. It shows exactly where entrances to malls and buildings are. Speed limits on roads and cameras.. very nice and up to date informations on businesses. Wish they would have a few more cities but im sure thats gonna come.. Also, yes it is a russian company but the terms and conditions are simple to understand and read and yes there is a option to opt out of any data collection - much better than google and apple maps.

Hi, I have the following issues: 1. On navigation, the fps is very low, maybe 1 fps, even for the new one, however on non-naviggation screen, the movement is very smooth. 2. No 3d view on non-navigstion screen which is must 3. Everytime i open the app, the previous setting is not retained: not pointing to current location. I have to press the GPS button in map. Also i need the car or arrow to always face up. This is also not saved. I need the map on certain zoom level, this is also not saved.

Car play doesn’t work well any longer
more lessLiving in Kazakhstan, this app is a must for getting around. But with iOS 15, CarPlay functionality is almost completely broken. It has never acted as well other mapping software in CarPlay but at least it was recognized by the system. Now if you leave the 2GIS screen for music or something else, you have to go back to the main menu to find 2GIS again. It also does not show the map if you go to the Home Screen unlike maps, google maps and Waze. It can be fixed if the developers will take the time to do it. This app would be fantastic if it worked correctly in the car.

The Best Maps App Ever
more lessNo other maps app holds a candle to 2GIS. Not Apple Maps, Google Maps, Whatever Maps... 2GIS is hands down the best maps app I have ever used. Getting around Bishkek would have been nigh impossible without its offline functionality and magic ability to interpret any address. I really wish they had every city I visit mapped! It just works.

more lessPlease remove the thing that pops up when you open the app. I need the map first, not that window that I have to close and which even loads so slow. So annoying. Also, when I pinch the map to zoom in or out, the map started turning much more than before. So maybe decrease the sensitivity or make an option to disable axis rotation. Thanks!

I gave it 4 stars because This is the best app in UAE for riders with a lot of details about anything. But the problem is It drops fps when navigation on otherwise not a single fault at all-- i hope your team will fix it as early as possible🔚

It has never acted as well other mapping software in CarPlay but at least it was recognized by the system. Now if you leave the 2GIS screen for music or something else, you have to go back to the main menu to find 2GIS again. It's very difficult to find busses by location to location. If you know about Armenian bus application A2B please follow there rules. In that application we can find route by bus number, so please you also do that. It will be easy to use for us.

Needs a lot of work. Good attempt but needs to be better. Nothing is in English when I choose English. Every location is still in English. I know you're not Google but you should figure out a solution because I don't want to use a map app and have to search something to be not found when I know it exists.

more lessPlease add exit information for navigation as it will be more useful for drivers if this will be added to the app. Yesterday we got lost on our way to our destination as app didnt give us what exit we should take for us to get in our destination as roads here in dubai is quite complicated

No, really, we finally took the time to sit down and thoughtfully put all the elements in order. Now the next step is to do the same with the Navigator.

The speedometer! We don’t know why it took us so long to add it to our Navigator, but now we have it. It shows your current speed as well as speed limits. Drive safely.
We made it possible to like or dislike events added to the map by other users. You’ll see how many people hit a plus for another road closure or roadworks — it’ll allow you to understand whether this event is true or not.

We made a navigator for bicycles and scooters for everyone who chooses eco-friendly transportation. There are several routes to choose from, a height indicator, and voice instructions. Also, we upgraded the main screen of the app and added smart destination suggestions to get directions in one tap.

Hello! How did your year start? We're sure you've been places. Now is the time to tell all about it in 2GIS to your friends and fellow users because it got easier to share photos and reviews of places. We display them the new way in the user profile and under the My 2GIS tab.
A long-awaited update for cities with metro: now we display several nearest metro stations in cards of companies and places. Choose whichever – our pedestrian navigator is ready to walk you there.
Also, we've supported VoiceOver in the route search. Please mention that to your friends or family members who might need it.

1. We've completely revamped the car navigator! Brand new design, a mini-map of the route, parking lots on the map, travel time and arrival time displayed together. Also, we made a lot of algorithm improvements. Go to the application settings, select "Navigator", and turn on the new 2GIS navigator. And don't forget to share your opinion on the update.
2. We've scored a new country in 2GIS. Give a warm welcome to Minsk that now has a detailed city map and a directory of companies. Hooray!
