Congrats on a huge improvement on your new app. Took a second to add all my info again and set up new profile, but putting in card allowed touchless pay in shop. Love Floyd’s

The app works fine people, signing up takes literally 45 seconds. Thanks Floyd devs 💚

This is an updated review. Originally I had issues with booking an appointment though the new app... Waited a few weeks, re-downloaded, and everything seems to be working as good as the previous app. Thank you!

This should not be a required field. Consumer information that is not necessary to the function of the app should not be something the business requires you to provide.

My issues: 1. When searching for my Floyd’s I used the “use my location” feature and was provided a single location which was closest to me, but no other options in my area. The feature instead then provided a list of locations by state alphabetically. I go to a specific location even as I’ve moved around in my city. This feature was not well thought out at all. The results should provide my closest location then all other locations in my city. 2. Stylist names are not in alphabetical order. I’ll admit this is a picky issue, but there appears to be no rhyme or reason on how the stylists names appear, this is just bad UX. Names should have some clear sorting. Alphabetically by first name makes the most sense(as the previous app had) but I’d be fine with whatever was chosen as long as it’s clear to me the user when trying to find my stylist. My thoughts: Previous App blows this new one away in terms of polish. I’ve only used this once to book a new appt and I’m sure I’ll be listing more issues as I find them. My fear is that Floyd’s got cheap and went with a new developer that has less resources and experience but lower costs. Which means while I’m sure the app will get to where it needs to it’s just going to take a while for that to happen.

Went to book an appointment, but when I tried to select a time I got a red error message that said "500". No idea what that means, restarted the app to try again, same thing. I guess the app is unfinished?

Old app pushing folks to new app is broken. Just auto load a forced push to app stores with message about new app. Also: after new app download, force customer to complete their new profile, otherwise a booking will result in an error because “first name needed” which isn’t modifiable at that point in the UI Scrolls for locations need to be fixed Store names need to be added “Union” wouldn’t bring up chestnut location Surprised y’all released this version – wouldn’t even call it beta. Do we get a haircut discount for all your QA testing?

In short, it sucks. It doesn't remember location you've used. You can't view staff pics, I'm a visual person and I'd like to remember who I've had cut my hair that I liked. The add appt to Google calender is completely stupid. It opens the browser and you have to log in. I'm in your app on a phone, use the calendar app on the phone!

New app requires to register again? The old app was easier for selecting the barber and the service. Also, I'm sorry, I'm not providing my day of birth for a hair cut. *Update. I stopped going to Floyd's because of this app for 2 main reasons, 1. Not all services are available for booking on the app compared to the website. 2. I search by times slot vs barber. I miss the old apps barber bios

Seems to work ok for me. I just logged with Facebook and booked a time. I was able to select my stylist. Not super polished like Super Clips app but it works.

Creating a new account is annoying. You should be able to set a default location and stylist to your profile. Paying via the app should be an option, especially in the era of contactless payments. Date of birth shouldn't be required for booking an appointment either. The app lets you book appointments but it isn't as good looking as the old app.

  • App is not good Oct 31, 2020

This app is about the same quality as the last app. Idk who is designing this app or writing requirements for this but this looks like something a high school student wrote during his fall break.

  • Poor visual experience, no data migrated from old app Nov 6, 2020

    By ScottH409
While the old app certainly had its faults, the new app is far, far worse. My issues: 1) New interface is very text-driven, unlike the old interface which was much more visually appealing. Thinner text, way too much white space and poor navigational feel. 2) Calendar view is now only one week at a time, and people are often looking at both Saturdays and Sundays - very annoying. 3) Stylists do not have pictures next to their names when booking. It’s sometimes hard to remember the names, so pics help jog us ok’d folks’ memory. 4) I had to create an account - no old data migrated, yet it had past haircuts from February 2020 in it. What gives? 5) why couldn’t you just process this as an app update? Overall, a very poor quality app compared to what’s out there today. Hire a UX expert and talk to your customers about how they book cuts.

Login fails. Password reset fails. The app is a failure. Guess I will be using the website.
  • What are you doing? Jan 2, 2021

By Ur app is a joke
I spent significant time uninstalling and installing the old app because I thought it was on my end. Unbeknownst to me you came out with a new app. Why it didn’t replace the old one in an update is baffling. Why the old one didn’t just simply say, “we have a new app please visit the App Store...” is equally baffling. My assumption is that you’ve had your barbers design the app. If so, tell them I’m proud of the work they’ve done. Not bad for part time software engineers.
