    My experience in the hotel was near perfect. I went to 3 different hotels and this one was the most modern and stylish... the USB ports for charging your devices was a big plus for me since I have a lot if electronics and the USA watts are different the USB ports were a great little detail that went far in my experience. My single bed room was the best very spacious and the view in the balcony was amazing to view the city. I got different room with 2 twin beds that felt smaller and less luxurious than the single bed room and the balcony wasn’t as nice like the single bed room but I am been picky with those small details if I have to say something to up the experience would be My only recommendations or wishes would be for the gym to have more options than a treadmill , bike and a multi lifting weight station. But it was clean and the sauna it’s right next to it. Great for after a good workout session. If the hotel had a pool it would be perfect. The breakfast was good and fresh the chef comes out and prepares your eggs to your liking. Overall the service was excellent the staff is friendly and very helpful really accommodating. I will definitely be back and recommend the place to family and friends

    Overall the app is pretty good, there are just a couple of things I wish would be changed. First, a lot of accommodations (especially in the US) charge a security deposit. It’s almost never easy to find out how much it is and it can even cause a cancelation if it goes over your card limit. I really feel security deposits are a form of age discrimination. What I would like is a way for the app to filter OUT properties that charge a security deposit. This would show age discriminating businesses that we won’t tolerate it. Secondly, again in the US, it doesn’t show the taxes until you’re on the last page to book. It makes properties seem cheaper than they really are. Booking even in expensive countries like the UK can still be cheaper because it’s difficult to find something affordable and safe in the US. Some of these things may be difficult to change given how unfriendly the US is towards its own consumers, but I overall love using this app and hope they can do something to punish age discriminating businesses and help save us money when booking domestic.

    Some of the hotels need to update their info. And the comments need to be adequate. I wish I can trust more in the inf. About these hotels before I select them. For example: extra fees... Having to leave my keys with host... And update info. Cleanliness of rooms... Family safe environment... Free parking... Breakfast inclusion... If I have to pay, it's not included. Say the truth don't sell lies to us.

Secondly, again in the US, it doesn’t show the taxes until you’re on the last page to book. It makes properties seem cheaper than they really are. Booking even in expensive countries like the UK can still be cheaper because it’s difficult to find something affordable and safe in the US. Some of these things may be difficult to change given how unfriendly the US is towards its own consumers, but I overall love using this app and hope they can do something to punish age discriminating businesses and help save us money when booking domestic.

    The room was large and appeared even more spacious with the tall ceilings. The view from our first floor room was amazing. Very large windows and remote control blinds made it all the better. The bathroom was up to date and clean. The bed slept well and I would rate it above above average. The addition of the included mini bar was a nice touch. They restock the wine, water, coke, diet Coke (Coke Light), Sprite, beer, and peanuts every evening. I never heard noise from the nieghboring rooms. The location was central enough to get around easily. It is only an eight minute walk with luggage to the central train station. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I had but two complaints. First, the water in our shower and one of the double sinks in the room had a drainage problem. They backed up very quickly. The tub and other sink did not have the same issue. Overall, I would say the hotel was the best I've stayed at in Amsterdam.

    By This is a Scam, and costly!
    My check in time was supposed to be 3 pm and I got there at 4:30, I still had to wait sitting in the lobby for another 10-20 min waiting for her to give me a room number but a man walked in behind me to check in and she gave him his room and he did not have to wait. I booked well over a month in advance requesting a bottom floor and got a 3rd floor room. The breakfast was nothing like it said had coffee and granola bars really disappointing! They say they are only 2.6 miles from the stadium and they are over 6.6 miles away!! The person checking us in seemed very rude and not very friendly at all!! At check out the lady was leaving the lobby briefly asked me what room and said fine and walked away not sure if I was supposed to do anything else instead, I really hope it was fine because there was no one else around to ask!! Was very disappointed and the facilities was a big let down!!

    I have this on my phone. When I agree to a room that is pet friendly, I click select and the price goes up and the room is no longer pet friendly. Every time I use this app: the price is higher when it comes to my bill. Not the price they show you when you open the page.

    Booking with this app does not hold rooms. I've had to spend time in the middle of the night to look for a hotel room because when I showed up at the hotel I booked they told me sorry we don't have any rooms available for you.... happened to a friend recently with this app as well.

    Last year we had a trip planned in March, flying out 3 days after the pandemic started. All of our travel plans got canceled so naturally we had to cancel the hotel room we booked through your app. We were told we could not cancel and get a refund, but instead could inform them of when we planned to travel again so we can change the date/get a credit. Now that Iceland has opened back up (this is where we had our hotel at), we rebooked our trip and called Booking to get the credit for the room. We were told today that because we did not call them to change the dates prior to our original hotel booking (March 15, 2020), that our credit was no longer active and there is nothing they can do. They told us to call the hotel but when we did, they said Booking never gave them our money and that we have to resolve it with Booking. Basically you all expected us to magically know when we would travel again 3 days after the pandemic started so now we are out 3 days worth of a hotel. I’m extremely unhappy and cannot express to you enough that I will not be using Booking in the future!!! You have stolen our money and that’s all there is to it.

    Not what I expected for the price we paid. The hotel is in a great location but could use some upgrades and better housekeeping skills. The room was spacious but not as clean as it should be. The bathroom curtain was white with some gray stains which showed it had not been properly watched in a long time. The bathroom sink had some yellow stains in the corner and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. This one had a whole right next to it that was never patched up and the footboard needed some real good cleaning as they were gray instead of white. I spoke with the front desk about it and they sent the housekeeper to clean the room but everything I mentioned was still the same when we got back to the room. You could tell they switched the bedroom sheets, replaced the towels and vacuumed the floors but nothing else was done. This is the first time I experience anything like this in a hotel and it was a shamed. The food is also over priced. I was only there for two nights and didn’t want to make a big deal about the cleanliness of the room but unfortunately, I would not be staying here again.

    Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and I’m 62 and travel frequently. I was there 5 days... the police were there multiple times, vagrants were always around begging money, the elevator was broke down for 2 days, the halls reeked of pot, the room was filthy, we were moved 3 times because the toilet was not working, the carpet was filthy, there was black mold on the ceiling, the air conditioner rattled , the shower barely worked. I paid for my stay in advance so I was stuck. My daughter and her family stayed 2 days and left and found another hotel. Today when thankfully I checked out, the elevator was finally working, there were 6 guests with luggage on the elevator when the rear door opened and a housekeeper with a cart and vacuum forced her way on the elevator pinning my 11 year old grandson against the wall. We all tried to tell her it was too crowded, she pretended she didn’t understand English... I later heard her speaking fluent English. Ironically, I had to wait to get my cash deposit back while someone inspected the room. What a joke. The only reason I gave that dump 1 star was because it had a bed ( with stained linens ) and a roof.

    The app offers me good deals, but then decides to have an error and is unable to load the final step (payment method) for the rooms I select with a good deal. But it works fine and loads other rooms without a deal

    Run fast the other way!!! This hotel needs to close down and have a total rehab. I don’t mind older properties if they are kept up. This hotel has lots of deferred maintenance. We asked for a quite room. We were given a king room that faces Canal Street. First mistake! The road noise, vehicles honking, people screaming, sirens all day and night, and some dude on a megaphone for hours at a time preaching. This is definitely not a relaxing hotel. Once you wade past all the homeless people you finally get to the front doors. There was a security guard on call at night but he isn’t checking anyones id or proof you are staying here. Once we get to our room it was awful. The drapes are stained with brown spots all over them. The carpet is stained. There are ants crawling on the bed. The bed frame has iron pieces hanging out and my wife cut her shin. The bed cover is ripped to shreds. No blankets. The front desk does not answer the phone. The commode was broke. Mold in the shower. Air conditioning return vent is filthy. The positive are location within city and air conditioner works great. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RUN DOWN HOTEL. For $900 for 3 nights, we were definitely ripped off.

    I’ve used boooking several times in the past without problems, until recently. It was my birthday and wanted to celebrate with my girlfriend. I went on the Booking app to find a Jacuzzi Suite and located one in their site at a Holiday in express and Suites. Drove over a hundred miles to this hotel that I reserved And got to hotel. Checked in and went up to room only to find their was no jacuzzi in room. Called front desk and was told that they didn’t have any rooms with jacuzzis, and that I would need to talk to manager in the morning. Talked to manager at checkout and was told that They are not going to refund me at all because it’s not their fault, it’s Bookings fault and I had to call them. Called booking and they said it’s not their fault either. So I guess it’s my fault that I was lied to and lured into a hotel for something I was promised and paid for but didn’t receive. Beware of Booking. Com as they will not stand behind anything, and don’t care a lot guest relations. Again I used them to book many times in the past and will not again and suggest for your sake you do not either.

    I love everything about this place and I LITERALLY MEAN EVERYTHING !☝️😫 from the beautiful clean fully loaded house to the breath taking ocean site ! Like you literally take 8 steps out the house and your feet is in the sand and the view and vibe is taking your pain and stress right away ! 🥺🙏♥️ I loved everything I slept so peacefully 🤦🏻‍♀️ and they even had items in the closet for the beach such as children toys 🧸 and beach layouts ! 🏖 I definitely will be renting again and definitely would give 6 stars ⭐️ if I CAN ! let’s not forget the $200 dollar deposit they gave me back literally I’m 24 hours 🙏 not 3-6 business days , (24 hours) ! Which was definitely appreciated because it help save me from coming out my pocket for extra expenses while I wait those few days so I really do appreciate and thank you guys SO MUCH I promise this was one of the best birthdays EVER 🥺☝️♥️🤲♥️🌎

    First off,I love the location specially if you don’t feel like driving long distances for the most convenient thing’s! It’s great restaurants near by, you have Walmart down the street. I had a king suite room! I love love the amount of space of the room! The room had a hallway from the front door to the bedroom it self. The bathroom,I kid you not you could have a party in the bathroom if you wanted too! You didn’t feel so closed in, in the bathroom you had more then enough room! The shower was bomb,It was a walk-in shower which I love! I love the location of my room, I loved being in the corner. Everyone was friendly, and very homey. Even with this pandemic going on, they was well organized. You didn’t hear no loud noise while trying to relax and sleep. The tv was very decent, had good channels. I was dere for four nights,I can’t wait to go back!

    It was not near or convenient to anything. When you look at the map you think “oh its in Jimbaran so it near...” as there are many great things worth seeing & experiencing here in Jimbaran or Uluwatu area but its quite far from anything due to the windy roads. You have to hire a car —no taxis available from here —and you are at the mercy of whatever they want to charge you, even to go 5 minutes down the road to the closest restaurant. I’d recommend stYing here for a night and enjoying a full day relaxing by the pool and taking in the views. The dinner at the restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced for the portions and quality. Then, after enjoying your time here, find another location for site-seeing the rest of Bali as this is not a convenient base for going on excursions, shopping, dining, etc. its gorgeous and inexpensive for what they offer—this makes it a great value, but its too far away to enjoy anything beyond this property itself.

    From the beginning at checkout, to questions, to the restaurant staff... everyone was helpful, cheerful and happy! The rooms are a bit small, but we only rested and got ready in them so no worries. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and rooms were clean. The restaurant is currently only serving breakfast, the staff was attentive and pleasant. Could use a lot of upgrades, but was roomy and food was decent. (Not free). The Splashatorium was a good way for the kiddos to wind down. Not really big or much to do. It was just the one slide, pool, and hot tub.... like I said good way to wind down and chill. Make reservations for the splashatorium!!! We made reservations a week in advance do to my research and looking at reviews, otherwise I would not have known. We had no where to sit or put or things, I would recommend that the resort supply enough sitting for the amount of people reserved. All and all a pleasant stay.

    Ya. Umm. Find a new in house management and marketing team.... Front desk manager should not look like a peep show girl with a small silver bow in her side part unless at an adult only restort 🤔 Coming from Park City Utah and knowing what the resort is like there—— No COMPARISOn - never staying at this Las Vegas property again! I’m sure this is not the atmosphere you would like to use for carrying on such a reputable establishment As a guest——Know resort fees are better covered in properties in Las Vegas that have fresh drinking water service at the pool..... Serve room service with water included.... (not upon request) ..... When going GREEN - don’t place the offer on the desk and hard to see —— use a tent marketing strategy in the BATHRoOM——Oh and coffee in room makes most excited!! Not included??? —- !!! AND when the pool is closed in April, don’t use internet, fitness center (not used) or TOLL free calls be obliged to waive the resort fee when addressed in this situation.

    The apartment was nice and clean, and the hosts are wonderful and extremely helpful. It has almost everything you need for an extended stay. It is located right by the #4 bus that will take you to Old Town, if you don’t want to walk. I prefer walking. It’s within easy walking distance of two beaches, grocery stores, bakery, and some great restaurants (Taj Mahal was my favorite). The only reason I rated it less was for the value. I stayed 5 nights in Kotor Bay for $45 euros less than I stayed 2 nights at Pavle, and in Kotor I had a full living room, and a washer to wash my clothes. The apartment I had in Virpazar, Lake Skadar also had a washer, 2 BRs and a living room for less money. And when I stayed in Old Town Dubrovnik, I had a wonderful flat for far less money, so Pavle is overpriced comparatively. But again, the hosts are great, the apartment is very clean and the kitchen is equipped, and the location was good.

    I did find some cheap motels in Savannah Ga at the last minute, and they were very cheap. But is was so far from Tybee Island. We stayed at the Baymount Hotel on 2 Lee Blvd, Savannah Ga. the room was for Thursday-Saturday. We did get a good rate. That was the only thing good about it. The room was very clean but very small for a family of 5. The pool was dirty and warm. Almost like it was a heated pool. And I kept asking why it doesn’t look like it’s been chlorinated, but they finally cleaned the pool on our last day there. And we could finally see our feet in the pool. And on this Booking app. It said hot breakfast served every morning. But when we woke up to eat. There was only muffins, bananas and yogurt, and coffee. I asked tje concierge and she said that since the virus they don’t serve hot breakfast. I asked why that wasn’t labeled on the website. But she couldn’t answer me. So our stay was ok. But it wasn’t the best I’ve had.

    Our first day was absolutely amazing the employees that were working that they were very accommodating! The next day and the people above us were so loud they kept my baby up all night crying. The next day they had to guests up to 25 people drinking and partying till two in the morning right outside of her window!! we were not compensated for our night. We were compensated for the night before but it was a horrible!! the employee that was working that night did not give a care at all….He was kind of acting like he was part of the party! However there are Many other good employee that made the stay better…I did feel that with our overall experience we should’ve got a room compensated! The guests are the reason why our stay was so bad which is unfortunate because it it has been a great vacation!

    Some of the hotels need to update their info. And the comments need to be adequate. I wish I can trust more in the inf. About these hotels before I select them. For example: extra fees... Having to leave my keys with host... And update info. Cleanliness of rooms... Family safe environment... Free parking... Breakfast inclusion... If I have to pay, it's not included. Say the truth don't sell lies to us.

    This accommodation was more like a bed and breakfast (except without the breakfast) Beds were not comfortable. One, the hide-a-bed was a thin mattress and my son woke up with neck and shoulder pain. Queen bed was a mattress with memory foam on top. Wi-Fi worked only sometimes. Hot and stuffy in room but Xavier brought a fan which was helpful. Only one faucet worked on sink with lukewarm water and shower was not so great, but had nice hot water. Also, no fridge, microwave or anything. Parking was about 1/4 mile away and an extra $10-$15 a night. Xavier was very trustworthy and helpful and gave us good suggestions where to eat, etc.. (The reason for the 3stars otherwise I would give it Just 2 stars for comfort). He was also a good communicator and responded to texts and requests promptly. This place was close to the center and seemed to be safe enough with double locked doors. All in all I felt like we paid a lot for what we got compared to other places we stayed in MX though. Be prepared to pay for your stay in cash (pesos) too.

    The hotel was near a new mall. The room was small but clean. We stayed for 13 days. On the 3rd day, a bottle of perfume was taken out of the room when they cleaned it. The front desk was notified and they said the cleaning crew knew nothing about it. Nothing else done about it. Use the room safe as the cleaning staff may not be trusted. The bottle of perfume was not high in value but still bothered my wife because something was taken out of the room. No manager came to talk to us in the next 10 days of our stay. Another thing, we received 2 card keys in the beginning of our stay. One cracked and did not work when trying to open the door. I alerted the front desk and they said they will replace it for 200 pesos as “all room cards are inventoried”. Such a valuable piece of plastic... We continued to stay there as we were already charged for the entire stay. Flip a coin when deciding on this hotel as they seem to be customer friendly until a problem arises. The only real plus were the showers.

    When I initially got the app (about 6 years ago) I was very pleased with the recommendations and found that the reviews and ratings were quite accurate. I was also happy with how easy the app was to use. Notice I said WAS. Now, not so much. For some reason, I am unable to do a general city search; it wants to only search for what is closest to me. Most importantly, many user reviews of properties state peoples personal experiences and not specific to the amenities, facilities, staff and services. And I suspect someone has been editing out the negative comments. We stayed at a property three years ago with a high star rating and glowing reviews, but when we got there, it was a run down motel 50 yards from a freeway. They required a $200 deposit - even with a credit card, worn out carpeting, an AC unit that had to be beaten before it would cough out coolish air, if it blew any air at all, no hot water and spotty wi-fi. I have been reading reviews online and comparing those to reviews on Booking and they are not even close: 2 weeks ago people have began complaining about bedbugs and roaches at one property, while no mention of such nastiness is made on Booking where the reviews are still all positive. I will try the update and see if that fixes the functionality of the app and continue researching online reviews/ratings.

    Overall appearance of the room was clean and quiet. The street is a little busy but is expected this time of the year. The queen size bed is very uncomfortable.. with multiple areas that have dips with springs poking you making it impossible to get a good nights rest. It is not a ocean view room - which was one of the things we were looking forward to was the fact that it said ocean view. The walk to the beach is pretty far and wouldn’t recommend it when it’s hot out. Beware when it rains because of landing water and there really isn’t a place for your pet to go to the bathroom. Be sure to bring trash bags, dish detergent and a extra fan because the AC unit is not equipped to cool the space when temps are above 80. The bathroom door must be left opened or your literally sweat to death just washing your hands due to the heat that comes in through the sky light.

    The Double Tree is a very clean and it is very nice but a few things I didn’t care for. We had a room with a balcony that was viewing into the atrium of the hotel. The doors do not open and they where locked shut. Without windows, the room didn’t feel as cozy as it did claustrophobic. They also require a credit or debit card on file after check in and they will put a $75 pending charge on your account until you check out to cover any possible room damages. The pending charge wasn’t the problem, it was the fact that we wasn’t told about the amount just that “we need a card on file in the event something is damaged.” The thing that got me the most is I paid $300 for this room for the night and then to be charged an additional $25 to park my car over night is a bit ridiculous.

    The price was right for me to stay next door to my friends and the staff was excellent. If you’re use to luxury I’d stay somewhere else; the bright photos on the website look new, comfortable, a magical. This place is dark n dingy at best. Very misleading photos but fine for what I needed I suppose. I booked 10 nights for under $350 USD I only slept there about four or five total nights so I sorta didn’t get to use all the benefits of free breakfast and sort of wasted money; that’s my fault not theirs but I’d have booked somewhere even cheaper had I known the downfalls of this place. Very friendly and trust worthy staff. I never locked a thing and was barely ever there to watch over my stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to find anyone depending on the hour but I would still suggest staying here for the price tag just don’t expect the Lap of luxury that the website promotes.

    Great location. We arrived at midnight for our night stay. Made it to the room. Took a bath and started getting ready to sleep. No lock on the main door , nor security tool to prevent others to come in. Wifi did not work. Not available. No TV. It was making a horrible clicking sound all night long. Although the linen appeared to be clean there was a stench of water damage/dust accumulation. No literature on the previously mentioned equipment tot working. Twice we had people come in the room uninvited and had no way of keeping them out. We decided to lean a chair against the main lock for security. Other than than apartment was good sized, amazing views, great location. Right next ro the beach, restaurants etc. We were out of there before 9am, the most expensive one night sleep ever!! Will not return.

    I’m not one to write bad reviews but this motel was honestly not the best. The room was WAY small and the rooms heater took forever to warm up too! To get to the closest you had to turn sideways and slide along side the bed squeezing all the way and I’m 5’2” and weigh 110 pounds. The heaters knobs were broken and my husband had to use a tool to adjust the settings. That wasn’t even the biggest problem either!! The heater made this horrible noise about every 5-10 mins so just as you would fall asleep that horrible noise would start happening! Both my husband and I had one of the worst nights sleep we had ever had due to this noise! Last but not least the breakfast they claim that comes free in the morning was not the best. After attempting to eat their “free” breakfast we ended up going out to eat instead!

    The staff was really great we had a late check in and I accommodated us with an extra late check out the view kind a wasn’t that great there was construction at the hotel across the street you can still see the sun rise but nobody likes looking at construction when they’re on their balcony so depending on where your room is you might might not have a beach view the breakfast looked and smelled great but I did not eat there’s a beach access in the back of the lobby and restaurant on site The parking lot was not great and if you can’t find a spot in the small lot that’s on file they have a lot across the street... overall I would’ve paid more attention and rushed to pick something I would’ve stayed at a cheaper hotel with the same accommodations

    Not what I expected for the price we paid. The hotel is in a great location but could use some upgrades and better housekeeping skills. The room was spacious but not as clean as it should be. The bathroom curtain was white with some gray stains which showed it had not been properly watched in a long time. The bathroom sink had some yellow stains in the corner and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. This one had a whole right next to it that was never patched up and the footboard needed some real good cleaning as they were gray instead of white. I spoke with the front desk about it and they sent the housekeeper to clean the room but everything I mentioned was still the same when we got back to the room. You could tell they switched the bedroom sheets, replaced the towels and vacuumed the floors but nothing else was done. This is the first time I experience anything like this in a hotel and it was a shamed. The food is also over priced. I was only there for two nights and didn’t want to make a big deal about the cleanliness of the room but unfortunately, I would not be staying here again.

    The B&B is located in a nice historic area. It is a bit too far from the station, especially because we could not find any taxi service in the city. There is no reception at the building and we didn’t receive the email by the time we got there, which was a bit confusing. But we managed to speak to the person in charge. The building looks nice and historic. The bedroom was a bit expensive for the type of furniture they have there. The bedroom furniture looks cheap and old. The bathroom was nice, but the shower box was poorly installed and didn’t work properly. They offered a breakfast, which was included in the price. But the breakfast was too basic and we had to order some sides to complement our meal. However, we were charged twice for the basic breakfast and the service was pretty disappointing. We did book our stay without researching at the very last minute. The B&B was a recommendation by a friend. But we expected a little more for the price we paid for the suite.

    Booking used to be my go-to app whenever I was planning holidays. USED TO BE. Not anymore. They have changed former excellent features, and this has made the app worse. Two examples: (1) “Draw map” - I loved this function because it allowed me to draw a map and see only hotels inside my map. They removed this feature. Now every time I look for hotels I need to go through irrelevant results because their other location features are not accurate. (2) Filter by price - in the past you had a sliding bar and you were able to select your price range (from X to Y). Now you can’t. Instead, the app gives you predetermined ranges that in many cases are completely irrelevant for you. You end up with a lot of crap results that you don’t care about because they are either below or above your price range. Booking just keeps getting worse!

    Day 1: Upon arrival we were not even welcomed at the gate. Security was very rude even though we arrived in an airport taxi. There was not even a hotel buggy to take us to our quarters. Dinner that evening was great we had a wonderful hostess from Myanmar and in my opinion absolutely professional beyond measure. Day 2 : The beaches and the breakfast were wonderful. The views were simply and breathtaking. Dinner that nights was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The hostesses were very pushy in trying to get us to place our order. Then after that didn’t work they ignored us until we had to signal them to come over. The kicker out of the whole night was their manager Ricardo. Me and my wife watched him greet every other table and guest that night twice while only glancing at us. I guess we had to either be Arab or Caucasian for him to even greet us in his Resturant. Horrible experience never would I recommend this resort to anyone.

    Location proximity to Oktoberfest was only good thing. Well the check-in staff were friendly enough. The place was dark and grungy with several lights out. My first room was okay, but missing furniture. There were not adequate outlets either. I had to change rooms for my two night stay. This made me quite upset, as I was traveling for business and it meant leaving everything in luggage storage all the time. The luggage storage did not seem secure as it was in in an outside building and not monitored. It was also a ransacked mess. The breakfast, that I thought was included, was not. It was an okay assortment, but the breads did not seem fresh. My second room was worse than the first. But at least it had all furniture. The bed was about the least comfortable I've been on in a while. All night long people were knocking on doors and making loud noises. Broken beer bottles in the hallway. It was just a mess.

    I was originally happily surprised how intuitive the app is to use and if it ended there then I would have happily given this app 5. The only reason I’m rating right now is because I think their taxi service practices is a bit shady. Long story short I booked a taxi using bookings 6 months ago and it was confirmed but couple of days before flying I could not get to the taxi website to make sure everything was accounted for. Talking with customer service they told me that apparently I got declined due to not having enough taxis in the place I wanted to go. However I did not receive a cancellation email and in my bookings app/emails it still listed as confirmed. He said that I can get a refund if I decide not to use it. Which then begs the question… why did I still get charged when the service cancelled on me? Not only that, I didn’t even know I was declined until my conversation with customer service. I decided to get refunded for the taxi just cos I didn’t want the headache of trying this again. I want people to know this happened as I don’t want other people to lose money or worst travel and realize that their transportation isn’t there! I recommend booking your transportation somewhere else.

    Location, ambiance, decor - are all at a high level, as advertised. However, service is not. Room windows do not open, which while grudgingly tolerable at a Holliday Inn, is a huge negative at a premium, boutique hotel - at a super premium price point they maintain. Upon arrival, we found no hangers in the closet, and a locked safe that could not be used. It took a call to fix both issues. On the first day of our stay, the room was serviced/cleaned only in the late evening, and then only when we complained at the front desk after returning around 6 pm to a messy room, as we left it in the morning. Furthermore, we realized only on the third and the last night, that there is a rather pleasant room turndown protocol, that involves soothing ambient music and an aromatherapy lava lamp - shame that nobody bothered to do this the first two nights. Finally, experience with the valet parking (expensive, outsourced, and only form of parking available through the hotel) is mixed at best. There’s one attendant available at a time, so if there’s more than one or two guests waiting for their cars, there can be a 15-20 min wait. On several occasions, there was a clear lack of communication between the hotel staff and the valet parking staff, resulting in confusion, and further delays.

    Booking with this app does not hold rooms. I've had to spend time in the middle of the night to look for a hotel room because when I showed up at the hotel I booked they told me sorry we don't have any rooms available for you.... happened to a friend recently with this app as well.

    Last year we had a trip planned in March, flying out 3 days after the pandemic started. All of our travel plans got canceled so naturally we had to cancel the hotel room we booked through your app. We were told we could not cancel and get a refund, but instead could inform them of when we planned to travel again so we can change the date/get a credit. Now that Iceland has opened back up (this is where we had our hotel at), we rebooked our trip and called Booking to get the credit for the room. We were told today that because we did not call them to change the dates prior to our original hotel booking (March 15, 2020), that our credit was no longer active and there is nothing they can do. They told us to call the hotel but when we did, they said Booking never gave them our money and that we have to resolve it with Booking. Basically you all expected us to magically know when we would travel again 3 days after the pandemic started so now we are out 3 days worth of a hotel. I’m extremely unhappy and cannot express to you enough that I will not be using Booking in the future!!! You have stolen our money and that’s all there is to it.

    Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and I’m 62 and travel frequently. I was there 5 days... the police were there multiple times, vagrants were always around begging money, the elevator was broke down for 2 days, the halls reeked of pot, the room was filthy, we were moved 3 times because the toilet was not working, the carpet was filthy, there was black mold on the ceiling, the air conditioner rattled , the shower barely worked. I paid for my stay in advance so I was stuck. My daughter and her family stayed 2 days and left and found another hotel. Today when thankfully I checked out, the elevator was finally working, there were 6 guests with luggage on the elevator when the rear door opened and a housekeeper with a cart and vacuum forced her way on the elevator pinning my 11 year old grandson against the wall. We all tried to tell her it was too crowded, she pretended she didn’t understand English... I later heard her speaking fluent English. Ironically, I had to wait to get my cash deposit back while someone inspected the room. What a joke. The only reason I gave that dump 1 star was because it had a bed ( with stained linens ) and a roof.

    Run fast the other way!!! This hotel needs to close down and have a total rehab. I don’t mind older properties if they are kept up. This hotel has lots of deferred maintenance. We asked for a quite room. We were given a king room that faces Canal Street. First mistake! The road noise, vehicles honking, people screaming, sirens all day and night, and some dude on a megaphone for hours at a time preaching. This is definitely not a relaxing hotel. Once you wade past all the homeless people you finally get to the front doors. There was a security guard on call at night but he isn’t checking anyones id or proof you are staying here. Once we get to our room it was awful. The drapes are stained with brown spots all over them. The carpet is stained. There are ants crawling on the bed. The bed frame has iron pieces hanging out and my wife cut her shin. The bed cover is ripped to shreds. No blankets. The front desk does not answer the phone. The commode was broke. Mold in the shower. Air conditioning return vent is filthy. The positive are location within city and air conditioner works great. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RUN DOWN HOTEL. For $900 for 3 nights, we were definitely ripped off.

    I’ve used boooking several times in the past without problems, until recently. It was my birthday and wanted to celebrate with my girlfriend. I went on the Booking app to find a Jacuzzi Suite and located one in their site at a Holiday in express and Suites. Drove over a hundred miles to this hotel that I reserved And got to hotel. Checked in and went up to room only to find their was no jacuzzi in room. Called front desk and was told that they didn’t have any rooms with jacuzzis, and that I would need to talk to manager in the morning. Talked to manager at checkout and was told that They are not going to refund me at all because it’s not their fault, it’s Bookings fault and I had to call them. Called booking and they said it’s not their fault either. So I guess it’s my fault that I was lied to and lured into a hotel for something I was promised and paid for but didn’t receive. Beware of Booking. Com as they will not stand behind anything, and don’t care a lot guest relations. Again I used them to book many times in the past and will not again and suggest for your sake you do not either.

    They work with hotels and hosts to hide fees and present pricing deceptively. They have been doing this for years and more so recently. DECEPTION is their business model. They are a monopoly that is poorly regulated and led by an unscrupulous management team. The company has been banned from these tactics in the UK but still scams the rest of the world. The management should be prosecuted for deception, anti-consumer policies and theft.

    The rooms were dirty. Yes the floors were sticky in the hallway. The room was without light bulbs. One chair was so dirty. The housekeeping staff turned it over on the other side. However that side was dirty as . Not one time did the manager come to talk with me. We looked at 4 rooms and still had to stay in the first dirty room. The pool was cold. The housekeeping didn’t give us fresh sheets. They just made the bed. They didn’t bring fresh towels. We had to ask for them. Then when we asked they didn’t bring them and we had to call again. The walks in the room was peeling. The bathroom walls were cracked. One of the rooms I looked at the door to the room looked like it had been broken into. When the person came up to look at it they didn’t even say anything other then that’s not a hole. Then on the 2nd night there was a room with 20 kids in it. They kept running up and down the hallways being loud. Then they took over the pool. The breakfast was not fresh. I ended up drinking spoiled milk. I complained and all i was offered was $44 for my trouble. That’s not even enough. This hotel is not worth the money.

    Update: Customer service is useless. They don’t want or even try to help you because it’s not in their best interest. Their Deals are no better than Priceline etc. The travel credits you earn can never be used because there is no way to apply the reward on the app. I called a rep about an issue with the hotel I booked. They handled it worse than a 5 year old. I guess British/ European people are a bit odd. Why this woman said what she said is inexcusable and definitely not proper customer service. They will not help you if you need it. Try another hotel app. The app gives you errors when you try to claim you $50 rewards. I wonder if people ever get them and use them successfully. I find it really hard the people in Europe do not understand the English language. I think they purposely try to act confused to avoid taking any responsibility. These people are a complete waste of time I think even a five year old in the United States could offer more customer service and these people can. They are truly a waste of space in the customer service industry.
