עמוד ענן - המדריך השיתופי לידיעת הארץ, הוא פרוייקט חברתי ליצירת מדריך טיולים ואנציקלופדיה גיאוגרפית לידיעת הארץ, ככלי למטיילים, לתלמידים, ולאוהבי ארץ ישראל.
האפליקציה מציגה את המיקום על גבי מפות טופוגרפיות בתלת-מימד, שעליהן למעלה מ-50 אלף (!) נקודות עניין הכוללות תיאור של מקומות ואתרים בארץ.
מצאתם נקודת עניין חדשה בעיר או בשטח? הוסיפו אותה! כל משתמש יכול להוסיף נקודות עניין ותמונות ולעדכן את המידע הקיים ישירות מהטלפון הסלולרי או באתר האינטרנט. האפליקציה מתעדכנת בכל הפעלה. ניתן להעלות קבצי מסלול באתר והם יופיעו באפליקציה. הקלטות המסלול מסתנכרנות באופן אוטומטי לעמוד האישי באתר.
ניתן לרכוש מתוך האפליקציה מפות סימון שבילים רשמיות של החברה להגנת הטבע 1:50,000 ומפות שביל נט מקצועיות 1:25,000. המפות יותקנו במכשיר, וניתן יהיה להשתמש בהן ללא צורך בקישור לרשת.

Jul 4, 2019 As a tour guide who does a lot of hikes this is an invaluable app. Too bad it has soooo many bugs. For example in previous versions it would crash and get frozen frequently. The new update is more stable but now search doesn't work and 3D display has disappeared. I use it to prepare hiked but is don't feel I can rely on it in the field since it's not sufficiently stable.more -

Jun 3, 2019 Had a great experience with the app, I also purchased shvilnet maps extension but since the last update the app is stack at the opening on green screen on android 9. I wrote to the support team, but there was no solution, they just told me to uninstall and re install as I did, but it made no difference. Still trying to reach the support team for solution but they are not replying back.more -

I use Waze to get to the hikes and I heavily and very happily used Amud Anan as my trail guide during the hikes... until I got Android 9. Now Amud Anan either gets stuck or it throws me out altogether. The app gets 5 stars when it's working. One star when it's not. Upgrade to Android 9 so I can once again give you 5 stars!more -
Aug 29, 2019 Terrible. Doesn't work. I switched from a Samsung s5 to a Samsung a50, installed the latest version, it doesn't come up and doesn't respond. Used to be a great app for hiking, orienteering. Not anymore . -
Feb 12, 2019 Do not buy. i made the mistake. the app broke when my phone updated to android pie (7 months after google released pie). the app developers couldnt be bothered to check compatibility and promised me and update a month and a half ago. still nothing. still stuck without navigation (which I PAID FOR)more

Apr 29, 2019 Very good app, however stopped working with the upgrade to Android 9. Turned to support but no reply for quite a while now. New version is now partially supporting android 9. Excellent, awaiting further updates!

What’s Subpar
I used this app in the past and it really helped me out. I downloaded it again for my next trip and its just stuck at the opening screen. Seems like they've been working on updating the system to support android 9 in 2019 and havent updated since. Really sad that this app isnt usable.

This program does not work on devices running android pie. After buying maps I have to buy another copy for off-road. The software developer does not provide solution. I opened case in the support.

A previous rev worked fine on my mobile. I re installed the latest app and it crashed three times. I then removed it. Pity, it could have been useful.

was a great app, but recently it keeps crushing all the time as soon as you lunch it. I reported it couple of times, no reapond or fix.
