The app works well, but is missing some features. The times on the schedule are in local timezone time, UNTIL you click on the event, then it reverts back to Tokyo time, which is a little confusing. One thing missing is being able to "favourite" events, to create a custom schedule, so you know when events you want to watch are scheduled to start. At the moment you have to scroll through everything, just to have to make note or remember the events I want to watch.

I didn't use this app during the Olympics but it's helping me follow the Paralympics much more easily than I would without it. I greatly appreciate the schedule being in my time zone & the clarity of all the information. I love the background info on these athletes. I chose not to follow any specific sports (you can choose up to 5) or nation, because I'm interested in all. The many articles & links enhance the stories behind featured athlete's participation & understanding parathletics.

***UPDATED: This has been fixed in the latest update. Thank you!*** There is a problem with the search event schedule whereby you are unable to filter events for Women. The only options available are "All Events" & "Men". It was unable to list Malaysia's Artistic Gymnastics event on 25th July. I was looking for Farah Ann Hadi but the search was not listing Women's event. Please fix this. Thanks.

I like the home page event summary writeups. I liked using the schedule and live score/rating update. I liked the local user time once I understood it wasn't in local Japan time. My only con was that if I would switch from live scores back to the schedule, it would bring me back to the start of the day and that usually meant a lot of scrolling to get back to the latest time. Would be nice to see the "upcoming" event schedule for the day more easily. Also will paralympics be included?

I personally liked the app primarily because of the easily accessible schedule. I would just look into the schedule and turn on the tv when my favourite event started. No fuss regarding the medal tally table either. Furthermore, what I also appreciate is that brief/ elaborate details have been given about every athlete which I found pretty handy. Afterall, what one needs to know is the schedule and the medal tally table and this purpose was served quite effectively.

Edited review - There is a lot of fun and informative stuff on here. I had a lot of trouble with it initially, but over the weekend a lot of issues seemed to get sorted so they must have adjusted something. It is now working much better. I really like it, but there were still things that were more difficult than they needed to be - example, logging into the fanzone. There were several steps, some of which weren't immediately apparent including a separate id set up, that had to be done before I could get in. I'm keeping the app, though and I'm enjoying it for the most part.

Great info but desperately needs button to take you to current time in day's schedule. The LIVE button only shows live events, nothing beyond this on the day. Huge deficiency of an otherwise brilliant app. Not a huge fix...do it for the last 5 days of the Tokyo games. An absolute must-have for Paris. Love the athlete profiles. Thanks IOC and Tokyo for cheering up the world!

Great idea VERY POOR execution. The "latest update" just keeps showing the pop up screen to download, and then brings me to the play store, even though I have the latest version. Also, I downloaded it about 5 days ago, which took a few times to even register! QUESTIONS: 1. How do you bypass the update, that's not an update? 2. Is everything/ anything paid for? If so, change that now. You're LITERALLY a world organization. With all that's gone on in the 🌍 it'd be gross to charge anyone 💰.

The more I use it, the more I realise how poor it is. No excuses given how long you have to develop it. You can't see the layouts of individual competitions, i.e. the group standings in football, tennis draws etc. You can't breakdown the medal table by sport. It takes so long to scroll down to the events which are about to take place unless it's the very start or end of the day. Also Northern Ireland isn't in "Great Britain", it's in the UK

I've installed this app primarily to check the schedule for the current and upcoming events. Unfortunately, this feature is basically unusable. The schedule starts showing the events at midnight in Tokyo time. So the user is presented with a laundry list of events which had already completed, and has to endlessly scroll down to find any useful info. After struggling for a while I'm removing this app as it saves no purpose for me.

Some of the events are missing from the schedule (like diving men's 10m platform). App is difficult to use and it takes ages to find what you need. Time of the event is confusing as time zone changes from your time to local depending on whether you look at schedule preview or details of a specific event. It's very confusing.

I opened the app today and got a message: "New version available! Download now." I select download now and Google Play opens and gives me 2 options, uninstall or open. No option for update. I check to see if auto update is selected and it is. So why didn't the app automatically update? I check pending updates in Google Play and this app is NOT listed. So I uninstall the app and reinstall it. Same thing happens: "New version available! Download now." Impossible to use the app. Thanks for nothing.

I feel like this app may have done the job for London 2012 but it hasn't moved with the times. Endlessly scrolling every day to find out the times of the events. Even the filter is a terrible experience. The whole thing is just so dated and poor. Next time use pictograms in alphabetical order to easily find the sport please, it's not that hard. you have three years to find better developers and please do it.

Terrible app. Most unexpected for such a prestigious event. If you want to see the schedule the App will take you to the first day of Olympics. If you choose a today's date it will take you to first event of the day even if the time is late evening. Very limited functionality when it comes to choosing events and teams. No reminders or notifications.

Below average app. One would expect a lot better from our Japanese friends, the app is confusing and not very well organized. Just a couple of issues: 1. Why would it be difficult to see which medals a particular country won in the list of medals? 2. You cannot follow selected countries (news and results) other than in schedule tab, and that's long and somewhat confusing process...

It was a decent app until it says it needs an update downloaded. I go to the app store to look for an update and there isn't one. Go back to the app and it says to download the update push the button it takes me back to the app store in a big circle of nothing. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still not working. I use this app the last Olympics and loved it so I really hope you guys get it straightened out before Friday

Extremely annoying to use. All most people want to use the app for is the schedule of their country. You can tap "schedule", but you have to set the filter for your country EVERY SINGLE TIME. You can set your country as your favourite, and this will put a pre-filtered schedule button on the home tab, but ONLY FOR THE FEW MINUTES YOUR TEAM IS COMPETING!?!? As soon as your country has finished, the home tab's schedule button will disappear, and you are forced to set the filter again and again....
