Great app for practicing. However it lack ability to detect slurs. It marks that I play correct regardless of whether I respect slurs or not (which makes me lazy) and I can even split a whole note in fourth with tongue and still get the note accepted

Great idea! Easy to use, and is a very good app. Need more popular songs. But it is ok, is a really good tool to learn!

I really like having other music to play aside from my concert stuff. I just really like the format of it and it’s really all I need especially during times like these. Cool!

This is the only app I've ever found to practice flute with, and it provides detailed feedback. Very impressed.

It does not have good songs and whenever I try to practice it has all the notes I don’t know and I know a lot of notes. If you are looking for practice and cool songs, this is not the app for you.

Been using the premium version for a few months as a complete novice. It was great when you could see your progress by colour, it was easy to see which of your previous songs you could go back to an improve. Update has made this harder with the star approach. Also seriously don't understand the tuning method now, I flatten the flute hugely and it makes no difference to where the line ends up, not sure it's working for me anymore.

All of the songs where either really high above the staff or they where almost below the staff and I personally like songs and music that stays on the staff or barely above, I just couldn't find any songs that where good for me. And I couldn't change the tempo it would let me press the button to change it but it wouldnt actually change.

There are way way too many ads! And I would pay for premium but almost $100/yr for musicians??? Or students? You would get more takers at a more reasonable price.

  • Great app for relearning or improving flute skills Aug 24, 2020

    By Cmsfalcon
You have to know some basics for this app to work well for you (meaning how to read music and fingering), but this is amazing. Well done.

In this app, you follow the sheet music to the beat of a metronome and are scored on how well you play. Campaign mode has several levels of songs which gradually get more difficult. On each song, you can pass with bronze, silver, or gold. In Challenge Mode, a small selection of songs with varying difficulty levels is presented each week, and you try to get a higher score than other app users. There is also a mode where you can just pick the songs you want to play by genre.

  • Good for Discipline Apr 22, 2020

The ranking system is good for developing discipline. I find myself wanting to better my scores — at least hitting 90 points — a task that is not as easy as it sounds.

The looks interesting but I guess it is useful for those who knows how to play their instruments. I would like to suggest to tech how to play flute (as my case), too. Also, I didn't see any button that plays the song. Some of the songs are new to me so I like to listen before I play. Thank you.

good with lots of pieces but you have to be spot on to get the note right so it just wasnt fun, even on the first piece you had to be pitch perfect

doesn't work that well it doesn't follow the notes when you play them and doesn't give you the right error and correction.

Oh dear, and the paid version (so you can practice for more than 5 mins without ads) is very expensive. Not sure it's worth that price.

The app said I was playing sharp so I adjusted until I was super flat but it still said I was sharp and the music isn't written like actual sheet music.
