    A couple of years ago, I had to quit driving. I also have a disability and can no longer navigate the grocery aisles and push a basket. Your service of allowing me to order online, and then your delivering them to my door is just the best. Your delivery people are kind and patient and bring the bags in so much quicker than I ever could. Your service is invaluable to me. During these trying times, I know you won’t always have what I need, but I know we will return to better times. Thank you, thank you!

    First time using app is very easy to add things and just things. I’m happy that they have commenting for exchanging items and what not if it’s unavailable. I would like a little more detail when you choose pick up time, I chose 5 PM. And then once it went through it told me it was 5 PM to 8 PM, I might have not done it if I would’ve known it was a three hour window.

  • Out of stock items are removed from grocery list Mar 21, 2020

    When an item goes out of stock after the order is already placed the item is removed from your grocery list without notification. Even though allow substitution is selected the item is dropped even though similar items are in stock. Pain to keep checking to see if an item is gone , you have no idea unless you manually compare the original list to the current list

    I have a long disorder. I cannot wear a mask longer than maybe 30 to 45 minutes without having an asthma like attack. So, I do a lot of online ordering for groceries. Tom thumb always has availability, at least the one near me, and while they may not have everything I need in stock I love how they are available.

    Everything works fine on the website but not in app. Frequently can’t access items in app such as Orders- servers do not respond. Some issues have never been resolved to date such as links to past orders are not live so forget viewing them. Recently had the app empty the entire shopping cart. Also frequently no response from servers when trying to view Cart in checkout process so forget finalizing your order. Now discovering the Pick Up portion of the app does not function at all, after tapping that selection nothing happens, nothing, no error message, no further instruction, nothing. I have reported these multiple issues three times now with no changes effected.

    Unreliable service. App charges by delivery window, smaller window cost more. One hour window is 3x mor than 4 hr,, and they showed up an hour and 45 minutes after the window. Items regularly unavailable. The app says they are available so you plan your groceries and then 0 to 30% doesn't show up and messes up your planned meals. Our fathers day meal for tomorrow is half missing. This happens 100% of the time.. Today was my fifth order and have had four bad experiences.

    I really like the search results! I got only the items I searched instead of a myriad of totally unrelated items along with the desired products. Other stores have a long list of unrelated items, where I have to scroll down to find what I want.

    I have had huge problems trying to find simple everyday items on this app. Yesterday the app was not accepting my order even though I reviewed and double checked all info. Understand the door delivery in our current environment and this is the first order I have been able to book since the stay at home order issued. Hope all goes well!

    I love shopping at Tom Thumb and Albertson’s. They are my go to stores. I also left on time delivery. But have recently experienced delivery through another vendor where the shopper stays in touch via text when requested items are unavailable so there is a more customize substitution process. I wish Tom Thumb had this also… It would make my desired store a 100% positive experience. A faithful shopper

    Both the pick up and delivery are convenient and easy. However, on more than one occasion I have ordered an item(s) and on the receipt it states they are out of the item. I turns out, when I go in and find the item, the item (s) are where they have been for months. That is the only disappointing and frustrating thing about the services.

    This new update is terrible. It’s a ton more clicks and key board pop ups to do everything. The check out process is terrible now. Please change it back. I loved your site and raved about it to friends and family. I really may stop using it now because the site is so hard to navigate. Please change back

    For the most part, I love the convenience of not having to go to the store to shop. Unfortunately the app still has a few bugs. The biggest being that changes in orders do not show up in the order all the time. This is inconvenient but you can work around it. Overall, I love the service.

    I’ve been using the app for about three to four months now. I’m mostly happy with the exception of one thing. The location keeps changing even after I have chosen it. When I click the cart to complete my order, it changes to another location. I usually have to go to the website and finish it there. If that glitch gets fixed then I can change my review to five stars!

    After being forced to upgrade the app today, the reserve a time slot and purchase history features keep throwing code 502 errors and i can't use the features. As far as the service goes, the shoppers routinely ignore the substitution settings on your order and they'll replace items with an entirely different flavor or product!

    Downloaded the app, spent the time to shop in the app after setting up my account, selected my pickup time but couldn't checkout. The checkout button did NOTHING! I could navigate throughout the app but could purchase my groceries. This is very distracting as the app prices and the in-store prices differ. I have been a Tom Thumb shopper for years and this is very disappointing. I will shop somewhere else.
