Keeps you engaged and coming back to it for a long time. I didn't expect to receive lore from a mining game but I was always intrigued and wanting to know more. The music is pretty nice and the art is appealing. A few grammar mistakes here and there but nothing that affects understanding of the mechanics. Overall, really fun and worth some of your time Some minor concerns: - when I upgrade the above ground floors, they will continue to produce things while upgrading. Normally this is ok but the crafting and smelting stations have at times eaten up a lot of my basic resources because I forgot to clear them out before upgrading. This is especially important for the crafting floor, because there are multiple items that use copper, for example, I've accidentally used all of it on something like nails in the past - some of the attacks for fighting the elders could be explained better. It took me a while to figure out how miracle gas works, as well as how the repair bots help exactly - the rare items tab automatically sets the slider to maximum when you're destroying items. I more than once accidentally destroyed a big chunk of my rare items when I only wanted one or two destroyed - it took me a little bit to realize how to navigate the menus in the beginning, and I actually didn't realize you could go higher above ground for a while - some of the mining stations make sounds and some don't? I could be wrong about this

There are like millions of games and the vast majority of them are junk or just don't hit the dopamine sweet spot. This little game finally had me hooked and feeling like I got a fun little side project in my life again where you put in a little work and get rewarded for it. Judging though -by my progress after several hours- this is not a "little" game after all. Great audio and music. Thoughtfully designed. I hope it sticks and stays for many weeks or even months.

Interesting and fun game, the fact that it gives you a good time makes it better than most of the games, there's one slight problem with mining when you set the robot for mining and leave when checking back on them its like they haven't collected much and that's sometimes annoying cause you have to be in the game so they gather good amount of resources.

This game was really fun for me for about a few weeks, but one thing I quickly realized was how confusing this game is. There were two main issues I had with this game, one concerning the crafting and smelting floors and the other involving the satellite. I think you guys just need to implement a better tutorial including a) how to smelt, craft, buy new buildings b) how to build the satellite (I don’t mean the missions, I mean integrating a second tutorial that actually puts you through the motions. I’m looking for more of a hands on experience here). Other than that, this game was fairly fun and entertaining but even the layout of where things were was hard to navigate. Please correct these and integrate the story more—after that, I’ll be much more pleased with how this game turned out. For now, I’m deleting it and giving it three stars. I’ll be downloading it again sometime soon to see if the bugs were fixed, though, so I’ll definitely give it second and third chances.

The support button blocks characters necessary to put in an email address to submit the report. Winter event won't let you send gifts to other players, thus is worthless. Currently there is also a bug that forces you to reload the game and lose all offline progress, which can't be reported due to previously mentioned issue. 3 notable problems, 3 stars lost. Will fix review if problems are fixed.

  • Great Game, Except Feb 25, 2020

This game is really fun and engaging. There’s different kinds of mining and a crafting system to keep things interesting. There are micro transactions, but the game isn’t pay-to-win, you can make good progress without spending any money. This would be a 5 star review, except for a major bug I’ve encountered. In order to progress in the game, you have to craft certain items. The one I’m currently working on needs 50 lamps (which also have to be crafted) as base materials, among other things. There’s a weird glitch, though. In my inventory it will show I have more than enough, like 68. But on the crafting menu, it will say I have like 18. No matter what I do, once I get to 50 lamps, the counter resets. I’ve been through this cycle about three times and am quite frustrated. I can’t move forward until this bug is corrected. Once this issue is fixed, I’ll give the game the 5 stars it deserves.

My account didn't save. I logged a ticket with support. It said it would take 48 hours to get a response. It took longer than a week, and they never notified me of an update. I opened the app and clicked on support and it stated 'Your problem is solved' but nothing had changed. I was on the toxic green monster and in a guild. Now I'm not in the guild and all the way back to the coal monster. Very poor support, and I was continuously asked to rate the app.

Good game, still playing but hate the process of asking people what they rate and only linking the people who say 5 stars to the rating section... Gives a very biased opinion. If give it a 4 at the moment, but my 1 star is making up for the way they got their rating.

Deep Town is a fun and entertaining game that is ACTUALLY free to play! It does take a bit of time to make noticeable progress but that is half the fun. Who wants a game that ends quickly anyways? You gain gems from completing an ENORMOUS amount of quests (which are actually not a drag... there is a decent story line behind it all). You also receive gold from selling the items you have mined/found/received from crates, etc., and between the gems and the gold that you get, you are given everything that you NEED to progress in game for FREE! (Of course you could always speed things up by buying gems but it’s NOT a pay to win (or play) game here in the slightest, which I appreciate and will continue to enjoy playing! Thank You For This *Gem* Of A Game!

The grind is real, now with robots that have life and a story that other games like this just lack. Overall, a nice game you can check on once in awhile, though it's not the grind that makes me rate this 4 stars but the weird upgrade costs later on and a few minor flaws in animation such asrl laser weapons cutting off when you scroll up just reducing the quality of the game for me a slight bit. Otherwise, I'd consider playing this till the end of the game if there is one.

This is a very good game, I'm totally hooked right now. I like the graphics and the animations, music and the sounds. Little by little there's more to discover and build, adding to the depth of mystery and eagerness to mine even deeper for resources.

  • Fun game but... Sep 9, 2018

Don’t get me wrong this game is awesome...until it decided to break on me this morning and now the game won’t even LOAD whenever the bar gets full the music starts playing but nothing else happens the game just has the loading screen there...i tried restarting my device, I’ve tried restarting the game not by deleting it but nothing works and i really liked this game but now it’s just making me mad because i can’t even get in to check anything. I got in a few times by leaving the app (but it’s still open) and going to another but as soon as i went back in it opened up to my chemical miner and kicked me out instantly. I don’t know if it’s a new bug from the new update but you seriously need to fix it or else i will delete this game as it is unplayable.

Ran into really bad bug when using the miracle gas you cannot use the freeze twice in a row in fact i it randomly goes on and off and doesn't work for up to five times in a row p.s. I use freeze a lot so is really messes me up. Edit: thanks for reading my advice and helping me out (love attentive developers keep up the good work!)

This game is unique to other idle games because it includes interesting story elements. The mechanics are also fun: building your mineshaft and slowly learning to make more and more advanced technologies as you encounter more minerals deep in the earth. One problem I notice is the pace of the game. After a couple hours of playing, crafting and upgrading things becomes incredibly slow. I’ve been crafting things offline for three days and I still haven’t got enough materials for the quest line I am on (building the computer quest). If the pace was faster, perhaps twice as fast, I’d give the game 5 stars.

This is a unique and well crafted game. I appreciate the thought and care that went into it, and this is one of the few games of this genre that isn’t constantly trying to make you spend big money or watch a billion ads. The ads are there and cash items, but the suggestions are subtle and the game is very much still playable without spending. That makes me want to invest some money into it for my appreciation of their work. However, things changed when I got to Area 75 or thereabouts. Suddenly the majority of quests and items to craft require me to dig to area 85 and the costs to upgrade mining tools is enormous. Also, when I got to this level, I was offered nothing new to explore or fun little hints that something good was coming up. Up until Area 75 or so, the quests and new crafting items seemed on par (though I think the dependency on coal and copper goes too far into the game. It should progress to newer resources.) but suddenly everything is stalled until Area 85. I just grind out the materials I need to upgrade mines and make coins. The game got boring quickly. Also, what’s up with Trading? I keep upgrading, but the prices for items are about 1/2 the price of selling them. At the level I’m on, the prices are supposed to be 1.14 the selling price. They’re no more than 0.50. Seems like a waste of time to even open it.

It's kinda fun in the beginning but it gets boring. There are bugs like; unable to edit name, out of place buttons, when you click on something nothing happen. Graphics is okay. And get ready to watch a lot of ads.

The game is really fun to play, but the same bugs keep coming back again and again for years. At this point I don't think they'll ever fix these bugs, because with every update at least one of them returns. And it's hard to recommend a game that has the same progress halting bugs cropping back up every month or two.

I decide to join my first active guild and notice an event will start the next day. when the event comes around, I try to help with the event but I didn’t realize I had to wait 24 hours before I can donate material. No problem. So i prepare items to donate when the wait is lifted. I come back on around the time I can start donating and I was kicked and tagged a pirate by the game (not the guild) for “game manipulation”.

All you do is tap the “laser” button every second, and the other tool buttons less often. The resources you gather are pointless and it goes nowhere from there. I kept playing far longer than I should have because I kept thinking there would be something that matters at some point. Games like this usually hook you by creating something interesting to see, and even interact with. This game does nothing but use resources to upgrade mining platforms that just create more resources. The platforms are not interesting, or interactive, or customizable. I just don’t understand what is supposed to be fun about this game. The graphics are kind of cute, but the animation is minimal with no variation. I’m not going to waste any more time trying to figure out if something interesting happens after tapping the laser button once a second for 10 or 20 or 30 hours watching the same lame animation. These developers could learn a lot by looking at other idle tapping games.

The game was fun for the first few days, then I hit a barrier where the game requires you to have certain rare items in order to progress any further (greenhouse). As far as I can tell, the only reasonable way to acquire these items is by purchasing them. There is a small chance to receive them by watching ads, but the combination of many rare items and small chance makes it very difficult. I played the game for a few days, then spent three months just collecting the daily chest and watching ads. I never did receive the needed items. Thus, this is basically a pay to play game.

I love the game. I find it interesting and I like the cave exploration that gives you insight on the creatures. However. Several times I have come back to find any progress made the last time I opened the game reversed and I had to do every action over again. This is a multiple times a day occurrence, often multiple times in an hour or less. It has made the game quite frankly unplayable and extremely frustrating to have to do the EXACT same actions over and over without making any progress at all. Maybe it's the fact that I have an older gen iPad but honestly if that was the issue I shouldn't have been able to download this have in the first place

If I could rate this any lower, it would be -1000 because this stupid game is just plain undesirable, I’ve been on level 99 for the last 4 months, I just wanna get past this, you all will not see this. You guys keep adding more but I get none of it because I’m stuck on level 99 and an amber monster just keeps regenerating like 100 million hp a second. I can’t progress. There’s been like, 7 updates since I got stuck, I still got none of it. It’s all late-game content. I don’t wanna do this. Please... help me, make the amber monsters easier to defeat. I just wanna play the game... I don’t wanna be stuck on one place for like, a year or two. This is the review of a sad player.
