Can be incredibly finicky especially on older devices, but has worked seamlessly with my new Pixel 4a 5G. Really goes a long way towards the Apple walled garden. Notification passthrough is consistent, and supports replying and rich integrations. Calling features are pretty amazing. However, there a few minor feature requests I have. When Focus Mode, or Do Not Disturb is enabled on the device, it will still push notifications to your computer. This can be a little annoying. I wish it would sync with windows 10's focus assist feature. Media control is possible through the small pane at the bottom of the window when the application is open in Windows 10, but I wish it would integrate with in windows to allow you to adjust volume/play & pause/skip using standard media keys.

Acts strangely. Shows only your pics and messages. And even then, it won't show all the pictures. Now they boast you can launch the phone apps. We'll see, if it's true. If you compare what you were able to do with WinPhone, this app is of heavy inferior functionality. Hey, MS, why did you drop your Windows Mobile and let this Bucketoid rule?

Great idea and great app. Initially I was facing problem in connecting even when i was doing everything right. But after some days, i have figured it out. Actually on Android, when the pair button pops up while connecting, there's a little check box which says "allow the device to access calls and messages." Now everytime I used to connect, i never actually checked that box and would proceed. Silly mistake. But now that it's fine, the app just works great. But I want to have a file share option.

This is an extremely useful professional app. Phone calls can be placed and received from the PC using a microphone and speakers or a headset for high quality private calls. If possible, please add a list of available contacts with icons for functions that can be performed for each contact, e.g., Call, Text, etc.

This app works great despite the many reviews that say otherwise. You have to have basic knowledge of 1) Bluetooth pairing and 2) how phone casting works. If you have a cheaper phone or laptop your mileage will vary as with anything. Software is only as good as the hardware running it. This takes ickoud to a whole new level. You can copy and paste across devices, drag and drop files to and from, text, call, see battery level among other things.

I wish this would work, but I can't open it from my phone. Hope it gets fixed. erhaps my Note 9 is the problem. I can find the app searching my phone, but it only ever opens the settings of the app, never the app. It is not listed in the quick settings. It is in the pull down menu with wifi and stuff, but that just turns it on and off. Will give it 2 stars, cause I really like the idea, and want it to work. will keep trying.

Right out of the gate on my Dell Optiplex 5070 freshly updated to 20H2 the app didn't work. Had to relaunch before it would detect messages. Shut off Dell and logged onto my Lenovo it wouldn't detect my phone despite showing 'connected' on the PC app. so you can't use this app on 2 PCs?? Why on earth wouldnt they have made this to roam with your Microsoft account?? So you could easily use it between PCs. I'm really just stunned at this lack of functionality. FIX THIS.

The app doesn't connect through my laptop to my phone anymore. It is installed but when I want to share a pic from the web to my laptop, it says "That PC isn't available right now" Before re-installing the app, it was saying, I should update windows 10, but everything on my laptop is up to date ... Don't know what to do next. Any help?

I can't open the app on my phone. I can't even locate the icon. I uninstalled to reinstall thinking that will help, it doesn't. When I go to reinstall this app the only option available is to update? Update an Uninstalled app. Ok. I install it through Google Play and once it's installed the "open" button disappears. On my laptop it shows I'm connected. This app isn't worth the hassle.

The app is a great spinner. But that's all it ever does is spin. It's a great way to waste several hours trying to troubleshoot connectivity that can NEVER be resolved. Think about it, it's a Microsoft app, when has anything made by Microsoft worked as advertised. I'm thinking NEVER.

It was not working but after updating the your phone windows software, all features appeared and now I can call through windows 10 and it makes my work easier as I don't have to handle multiple devices. now I don't need to switch my earphone and my headphone again and again. thank you Microsoft for giving us a beautiful tool to save our time. I am a computer science student and I am preparing to join Microsoft soon..

When this app works it's everything I could ever ask for. However I haven't been able to connect my phone for the past few weeks, didn't really worry about it because I was busy. After putting in a good two hours of troubleshooting today, I'm about ready to just give up. I've updated both apps, logged out & logged back in on both devices, disconnected & reconnected, but nothing works. When I go to refresh the notification page on my PC it connects for half a second then disconnects again. Idk.

8/2020 update....App seems to have stopped working. Have restarted PC and app but will not come up on my PC. Has a real problem refreshing. I like the idea of syncing with my computer but it just won't keep up. 11/24/20 Still have issues with app freezing and not keeping up. When it works it is great!

Calls don't work but messages work 75% to 80% of the time. Bluetooth connections constantly has to be reset completely even after going through the step by step help guide. it will be a very nice ideal app when it works right. Looking forward to it.

Disappointing garbage. Takes a lot of time to connect (why even?), then when asked to refresh anything the devices clearly communicate (e.g. the phone app shows a relevant notification), but after the successful connection the PC app says "we can't connect to your phone" and provides a link to a naturally useless website.

Just not reliable. Worked well at first but now basic text messaging just does not work right. Just sits there....sending..... have to close it. Close it on phone. Manually force it to reconnect. Works a few times and then same thing. Sending...Makes it easier just to use phone. Which makes this app worse than useless. No one cares about new features when you break basic functionality.
