Jan 24, 2021 Really good app, however it lacks the ability to remotely enable GPS. If you keep it turned off to save battery, you won't be able to find it unless it's within ear shot. (ie not at a gig or festival) -
Jan 25, 2021 I love this. It works great. Nobody can lie to you about where they've been cause it will show you exactly where. Plus if it gets lost or stolen, you can erase the device and save all your important private information. -
Jan 20, 2021 Excellent app but the only important feature I feel that's important is being able to set secure and lock in advance so that whenever the device does turn on and connect to the internet, it can automatically trigger secure and lock.more -
Jan 24, 2021 I went skiiing and had a wipe out. I didn't realize my pocket was unzipped and my phone fell out. Later I had to use Find My Phone to track it's location and found it buried in the snow. This app is a life saver. -
Jan 25, 2021 Perfect for when a loved one is gone much longer than expected. Sometimes they don't always answer. I love that I can login and learn their whereabouts just to make sure all is good.

Jan 25, 2021 As some said before me, as of latest update it seems there's no option to allow this app to get the location data while not using the app. Additionally, it seems like my account has forgotten all of my devices and the only thing I get is "No active devices" prompt under the map.more -
Jan 11, 2021 Can Google staff help people in the following situation: -phone was lost or stolen - phone number used when account was created is no longer used. - when I try to use this app to find my device from my brother's phone (i only use google from my mobile, no other devices) Google wants to verify it's me and send the pin to the lost phone, hence unusable. Question: How are we supposed to use this app to find our devices when we're completely locked out and only use google from that lost device?more -
Jan 20, 2021 It's a nice apps, yes no doubt about that. But how could you be sending a mail to a lost phone that I want to find that am trying to fine the phone? The person stolen the phone may even decide to throw it away. You just rendering the apps uselessmore -
Jan 19, 2021 It appears after the last update you only get the option to allow the app location only while using the app. In other words you can't find your phone on the web or other device because you aren't using the app. Fix this asap because the app is useless nowmore -
Jan 24, 2021 Was great at first but now I cannot use a switched acc. When I put the email in my keyboard dissappears and do does the email address from the input box? It's useless now to search for any phone but my own one!?

Jan 20, 2021 Saved my back side several times. Wish it did have the feature of an old app I used that allowed me to remotely take a picture or sound to help find it. -
Jan 21, 2021 No phone you shouldn't be with out the the Google Find My Device app because if you're a busy body and always on the go like me it's so comfortable to have this app, sincerely.Bryan whiley.

Jan 24, 2021 Im going to gove it three stars because it is a overall good feature or app to use to to secure a lost or stolen phone...unless you married the man i married in 2017 and he used that featuee to lock 5 phones between 09/20/2017 until 10/19/2017 and your landlord brings home a 9 millimeter double tap defense thats registered to your husband and you take it in fear for your life and neither one of them bothers to file a police report after i basically stole it. I surrendered it to thestateofTN wmhmore -
Jan 20, 2021 The best way it can find a lot phone is when it take intruder photos, send text to a provided number if phone number is changed, automatically on data and send Google location messages when phone number is changed

What’s Groovy
This app did the job it was supposed to do and I was able to recover my phone that had been inadvertently left in a friends auto. The problem I encountered was the phone number of my friend was on said phone and didn't show up on my back phone even though these phones are synched. I got my phone back and that's what really mattered. Props to the developers.

What’s Subpar
very poor execution of a commendable service. how does this function with the 'fake-your-location' feature of older Android? anyway, not a safe function as of yet due to lack of modern maintenance.. it seems to also be missing the very basic of it's necessities... reformat the phone remotely, etc... but then, I've been trying to enter my lock screen pattern wrong until an automatic reformat happens after any number of incorrect attempts since Android Marshmellow... still just keeps refusing
