The importance of this application is not hidden from anyone. But it does have weaknesses that, if addressed, would be great. One of the problems is not remembering the logged in accounts. Another problem is the lack of control and complete remote control of the device. For example, it would be nice if we could use the camera of the found device and ...

Excellent app. Hope that there is an option here where we can able to switch ON the GPS from our NEW phones to our LOST phone, to our love one's phone, or to the gmail accounts we save here in our new phone, so that we can see as soon as possible for those phones we will looking at and not to wait long time for the one who holds the phone activated the GPS. Thanks, and im waiting for the feedback.

Well it works fine. The mobile data or Wi-Fi that needs to be on together with the location is not a problem for me. Thank you Google for such a wonderful app. But please I try to sign in as a guest but it does not load anymore. I recommended it to my friend and she had the same problem. Please please fix it. I really love the app a lot.

This is hands down the most practical n usefully tool that Google had to offer. N to think it actually works. I've lost n found my phone twice slready using the Google find my phone app. The first time I lost my phone it fell outta my pocket when I was getting on the train @ the Loyola redline. As it fell below the platform n was laying off to the side on the tracks face down of course so the screen wasn't visible. I called it an ironically coincidental unexplained random disappearance.

Mine shows me exactly where I am on the map, but also says "no devices found" So there are literally 4 options, all of which are useless. Surely the device im using is my registered device? Maybe I'll have to log in on another phone so it will let me see the options. But thus far, im really not impressed with the lack of options.

I have a moto g power. I tried to use this app to find my phone and it was able to locate it, but because I do Do Not Disturb activated, it would not play a the sound to help find it. I had to have someone call me twice really quick so it would ring. Seems to me like the app should override any sound settings on the local device.

This app is dead, no longer works. No matter which device I search for(even with location & internet on) , it just says "No Active Devices". It's been like this for the past many months. Used to one of the most useful apps once.

It's ok, but there are some bugs . Probably you need to have the the app on your phone too.I was using it without the app till now, but tonight it failed, always worked before.I think google is trying to have complete control over you. I will find some other mode to find my device. Anyway good for now.

No bueno, very mad. Me ask for clear data off old phone. Old phone off, once turned on it take app hours to actually clear all data. By then I look passwords still there, pictures still there all things personal still there? Whats the point of this option if it take that long to actually erase all things personal? Erase devise, I think not.

It is so helpful to be able to ring the phone that I am looking for via Wi-Fi. I have several old smart phones that work great but I do not have SIM cards, only Wi-Fi access. That was all I needed to find my current phone that had fallen down inside a couch in a place where you could not see it but only feel it.

Only way it could be better, overlay maps scalability, got me to back of hardware store, showed footprint, had tough time figuring out scale, changing size of map, maybe send coordinates so could pin the location with another device, the buildings that were labeled I didn't recognise. Has got my phone back a couple times.

My fiance lost his phone doing work around the house. The option for playing the sound when you start pops up as a progress bar. When the sound stops the progress bar goes away and a BRIEF pop saying sound stopped. My sweetie didn't notice so we looked with no sound thinking it was playing. I took over looking with the app and my phone. And we found it. It was outside in the rain but he has a really good case. The sound pop up should stay on the screen.

Had to factory reset my phone because after creating a pattern I immediately forgot it. Apparently samsung and Google have decided to get rid of any and all ways to recover unless you already have settings turned on that they don't warn you about. This app was useless trying to recover my phone with no data loss.
