This app helped me move from a Galaxy S7 to an iPhone SE. I was hesitant to use this app because of all the bad reviews, but it ended up working fine. I turned on airplane mode in the beginning, and the whole process took about 40 minutes to transfer my messages, contacts, and photos. The only reason I took off a star is because my photos weren't in the right order, which is kind of annoying. Other than that, it worked fine. I'd just make sure that the name of the wifi connection on the android is called "iOS _____". For example, mine was iOS d046c. The password and network name is the same. If your android is not connected to the network from the iPhone, the transfer won't work.

Ok yeah it worked...BUT it only took like 11 hours to complete transfer!!! I have to re-enter code like 4x's to get it going again!!! Yes it ultimately did what it was supposed to, but damn it was painful getting there! Thank God it didn't need to restart in the middle of the night! Lloyd Lang-

Well I personally think this app is good but I feel like it's not good at the same time. Why? It's because when someone buys something on a different platform how do you think it feels to buy it again.im personally saying this to people who buy things like mincraft and geometry that apple should add a feature that enables. Users to be able to transfer paid apps from android to iphone. Please do this.Thank You!

It worked for me. I don't know whybit didn't work for other people. But I had no problem transferring what I only needed from my samsung s9+ to my new iPhone. I use both phones and I just needed it to have more or less the same content.

I too had troubles with app transferring from Samsung to iPhone 6s. Did not move all my contacts! So will manually have to put back in. And once the “transfer” is done, you can’t go back & re-try transfer again. All my photos did not come over either. Will some how figure Samsung Cloud, which has the pictures, and put them in the ICloud. Really a pain in the $@&#$! AT&T store recommended this app. Rather disappointed in them. All they did was move SIM card for me. Big deal!!!!!

Having worked in hi-tech for over 35 years, this APP just makes me shake my head and not in the affirmative. My (wasted time as it turns out) experience leads me to believe that the product spec for this APP is such that only the NEWEST and LATEST phones can run the app. One must ask WHY? If I have an old Droid phone, would APPLE not want this APP to work on it so I can move my contacts at least? They should be happy old Android phone owners would want to switch. Seems NOT! It took eons to get Apple to allow an iPhone to startup without a SIM card installed, and in that time this APP did not evolve. A migration tool that works on BRAND NEW DEVICES seems to me to be rather, DUMB! But then, that's what we can expect from developers that still need diapers I suppose...

Transferred most of the data it seems, took three hours... All of the pictures and videos and other documents are dated absolutely wrong and are a complete mess which is frustrating. Wish that apps would be easier to transfer, turns out to be a tedious job and I need to download another app/use my laptop anyway now among other things so probably would've been quicker to do that anyway in the first place. Surely Apple can do better.

It didn't work for me. My iPhone SE (2nd Generation) indicated that it was an error, but this app in my Pixel 3 indicated it was a success. It would be great if both apps in both platforms provided the same message at least, to let me know it didn't work.

Probably same story as many other 1-star reviews. After about an hour of transferring, Android showing "Transfer Complete" but iPhone showing "Unable to migrate." Throw us a bone here, tell us WHY? One possible cause: "Make sure that your Android content doesn't exceed the available space on your iOS device." Gee, since the Move to iOS app calculates the size of each type of data to transfer upfront, why not fail with "There is insufficient space on this iOS device for your Android data" before the transfer? May be a good way to sell phones with more storage. Crapware probably should not be the very first thing encountered when trying to bring sheep into your ecosystem.

I really wish these companies wouldn't take their stupid rivalry out on us. I couldn't use this app to do anything other than transfer my Google account. The bad reviews aren't just from the rivalry. This is a poor app and I can't even tell who is causing it. Just use a third party app to transfer anything more than 50KB.

After reading the reviews, watching YouTube demonstrations and taking the utmost care to move my data from Android 7.1.1 to a new iPhone SE 2020 multiple times over 24 hours,, this app is rubbish. It kept on being "interrupted" at ~15%. After multiple failures, I managed to only copy my contacts and messages, but not without anomalies: the messages (SMS) dates are screwed and there is something weird going on with some of the contacts. Apple, DO BETTER!

Perhaps I expect too much from Apple. It frequently fails to discover, sometimes aborts before reaching what to migrate, it reaches anywhere between 37% and 41% and then bails, but having spent an hour getting to 37%. Migrating from my iPhone 6 to the Pixel XL worked awesome, kudos to those designers, but this Apple program is rotten. I tried four times. A few months ago I tried to migrate a different setup with an HTC M9 and it failed just as brilliantly.
