• Amazing! One Bug, Though Dec 4, 2016

I love this series! It's laid back and fun for both gaming veterans and newcomers, but offers more than just a bit of mind teasing and puzzles. Accompanied by some well-set atmosphere and unsettling monsters and events makes for a great time you can't find most anywhere else. My only complaint is that I seem to have found a bug; If you move too quickly to get away from an area (like if a monster-including event happens and you get spooked), the game seems to bug out when it comes to putting the pieces of the various photographs back together. You can have all the pieces, bring them there, and yet for whatever reason, either one will be missing from your inventory, or the game will claim you haven't completed the photograph. I have tried this multiple times, glancing at walkthroughs to ensure I've done everything correctly and have confirmed this is a problem and have had to restart my game twice because of it. Is it annoying? Yes. But it's not a deal breaker. I do hope it's soon fixed, though.

A slow burner. Downloaded it because it's made by the same people who did The White Door and was initially disappointed there wasn't really a story. However taking it for what it is it's an enjoyable enough escape game. Puzzles are pretty logical within the low bar set for point and click adventures! Planning to work through the series now

Love love love this game! This has seriously got me hooked and I have already downloaded the rest to play. A friend told me about it (not this one) and I had to look into it! When I beat the first one, I was so glad to learn there were a ton more! However, the OCD in me made me mad at my friend for telling me to play the birthday one first. (Wth dude) Anyway. I got my SO to download it as well and we tried to see who could beat it first. It was not easy and some parts I got faster than him but there was some he’d get faster than me. So fun and we couldn’t put the game down!! I don’t want to say too much as to not give anything away but if you love escape rooms, this is for you!!!!

Awesome game! I loved the challenge and the story, and even the few scares they threw in. It was a little short but it was satisfying to finish it. I'll be downloading other games by this developer.

I cannot explain in words how great this game is. Amazing plot and very intriguing. However... there are a LOT of bugs/glitches. It truly is disappointing to go through reviews from 2016 until now and seeing people repetitively mention the bugs that make certain levels impossible to pass, yet nobody seems to be doing anything about it? SPOILER: (for instance) Several people have said that they were not able to stab Harvey with the knife to receive the picture piece. Though I never had that problem, I did come across something else. I’ve placed all the liquids in the fuel tanks in the correct order, turned them on but was not able to pull the lever. Also, i tried to delete the app and re download but for some reason was not able to. Anyways, the game and story itself is breathtaking. I’d urge anyone to look into the Cube Escape series. I just wish the creators, or whoever, would simply fix the issues.

Buggy and nonsensical. Its one thing being a hit and miss puzzle game where you have to try random combinations to progress, but having to also deal with bugs which stop puzzles even working makes it unplayable. Theres simply no way of knowing the difference between a genuine wrong puzzle or a bug without consulting a walkthrough, rendering the entire game broken.

I believe that rusty lake is probably one of the best mobile game devs out there, the entire cube escape series is a masterpiece, with each game a totally uniqe experience that is high quality and fun. They have a really unique and strange twist to the puzzle and escape room genre along with a intresting story that leaves alot to theorize and think about. Seasons is perhaps my favorite in the series, it does a really great twist on time and the past, and also has some really memorable moments.

I heard about and played Paradox, then wanted more. Now I'm playing through the "recommended order" for Rusty Lake escapes. I liked that this one had a positive feel to the ending, though the usual supernatural creepiness is a big draw for me.

This Is A Really Fun Game!! I'm Stuck On Finding The Top Left Photo Piece In Fall. Also I've Played Cube Escape: The Lake And There Is A Box That The Code For Is In Seasons But Where Is The Code? Also Some Of The Reviews ( And One Of The Achievements) Make It Seem That You Can Get Harvey (The Bird) To Escape And Not Get Killed In Fall(I'm Really Sad About That Because Harvey Was Really Cool) If You Can Do That How? Also Where Is The Hanger In Spring?

Cant beat the game. Harvey doesnt appear at the window towards the end of the game meaning i cant get the flower. The casset will not unroll itself meaning i cant light the fireplace. When the shrimp get cooled and i go through the picture to get the black cube the oven stays open with the picture and gives you another black cube, this repeats forever and when you place one of your black cubes it doesnt let you leave meaning i have to reset. And the clock hands are hard to move. Love yall tho <3

While I enjoyed aspects there was no real intuitive tie between the different seasons. Too abstract. 4 Stars for your efforts & some novelty.

• Interesting but very weird and frustrating Sep 1, 2019

By DDDiaz
This was first game I've played of the Cube Escape series. It was interesting but for the most part the puzzles make no sense whatsoever so it was pretty frustrating to play. I like puzzle games but these puzzles were so weird and nonsensical I don't know how anyone could figure out what they're supposed to do next. Needless to say, I relied heavily on walkthroughs. I played Paradox next and it was much better, imo. Also, the extremely stripped down controls made for a more frustrating experience. So play Seasons if you want another piece of the rusty lake story, but prepare to be frustrated (and still not have much of a clue as to what the hell it's all about afterwards).
