This is a simple to use app that shows me exactly what I need to see, which is the signal strength & channels being used by other networks in my area. This let's me know what the best channels are for my home network to run on for optimal performance. The ads are minimal and I've yet to have a problem with it so what more do you want out of a free app? I have also used it many times when installing other home & small business networks with equally positive results so I highly recommend it.

Not sure how the app is helpful. I have Optimum as my internet provider and after using the app, I go into my router settings and I am unable to change the channels, and many other routers around me are on the same channels. So, it's great that it told me we all are on the same channels, but I can't change my channels.

The app itself is fine but the ads are annoying. All of a sudden there is a loud video playing when you are in the middle of an interaction with someone in their home analyzing the wifi. It is annoying and embarrassing.

Works as described. I used it to find the optimum channel on my router to avoid congestion from my neighbors. The app does all the work for you with a chart showing the best channel at a glance. Graph is a nice touch for signal strength. I haven't experienced any glitches with this app. I'm not super tech-savvy, but I figured it out in about 30 minutes. That should tell you how user-friendly this actually is. Loaded with features and best of all, NO ANNOYING POP-UP ADS. Any ads are un obtrusive

Very quickly identified why I was having ping spikes on my 2.4ghz connection. The channel that I was on was extremely crowded, and I switched to a less congested one. My overall wireless network performance is a lot better now.

Routers from your ISP will have your wireless broadcast channel set to auto. This just means that almost every router in the area...apartments...are shouting at the same frequency. Your devices will have a hard time telling them apart. So download this app and use it to make up for the faulty "auto" channel settings and stop blasting your neighbors with the same channel they are using.

Works well except for when there are two or more wifis on the same frequency/channel all at close to the same power. Then the names are on top of each other &I can't find a way to separate the wifi names.

I had trouble getting the internet in places like my garage & porch. I researched & decided to get a wifi extender. In article after article they mentioned WiFi Analyzer. I downloaded it and it worked great, just what I needed. It showed a bell curve with signal strength, in negative decibels. The curve is important because after installing the extender two curves show overlapped with the original darker inside the extender. Great reference.

This app has always worked for me to help diagnose WiFi problems. I've gone through 10 different phones over the years and it worked on all of them. Highly recommended.

It is alright. You know those ranges are unreadable? They are all overlaying each other. You have no options to select out which you don't want to see. There is another on here that lets you select. Didn't think it was that thrilling. But yours sadly is a little less for lack of options for the graphic displays. Also the other does NOT endlessly beg for a rating every time it is loaded. Pisses your users off you know. It looks all pretty and stuff.

I don't mind annoying ads while using an app that I'm getting for free. But I don't want pop ups on my phone when I'm not using it. It doesn't make me want to pay for pro access and I do have plenty of apps I happily pay for.

Honestly the best I have come across. Helps me select channels that are not congested and also find Hidden SSID's. Must have to any toolkit. Best of all is free without any invasive advertising!

I used this app to map out signal levels around our home from multiple routers. The information is easy to get and can be used to diagnose roaming performance issues. Worked well on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Shows ssids and MAC addresses of each router, so easy to map out what's happening.

As a customer tech, this tool gives insight to where the signal drop outs and week spots are. With the right router or mesh solution connectivity issues those problems are done! The graphics and info are colorful and easy to understand a great download.. As always the non advertising version would probably be the best one to get!

Would be nice to have a summary screen to such info as how many APs are being detected, average signal strengths, etc. Broken down by frequency (how many 2.4GHz vs 5GHz etc.) This app shows much the same info as the Wifi Analyzer app (by farProc) I've been using since 2011. Nothing new. Edit: I do appreciate the nice UI of this app though. Well thought out and avoids clutter and confusion, bringing the information into clear view.

Useful, though the plots are hard to read when the spectrum is crowded like I'm my area. Maybe there's a way to filter out networks that I haven't found, is not there should be
